Travellers' Choice
GreenLeaders Bronze level
Adult only B&B offering quiet elevated position on one of Torquay's 7 hills, within a 5 minutes gentle sloped walk of Torquay harbour with its array of bars, restaurants and clubs and buses and ferries across the Bay. All rooms are spacious with en suites and all first floor rooms have sea views. These sea views are as a result of our elevated position, we do not claim to be seafront! There is also free off street parking for all guests. We are motorbike friendly with secure flat parking at the side of the house, and also offer use of our fresh water wash down and drying area for wet diving , sailing or motorbike gear. Due to the elevated position of The Redholme, guests with mobility issues may find the sloped driveway access to the house difficult. It also goes without saying that the return from the harbour to The Redholme is uphill. If you find walking uphill difficult then we suggest you stay elsewhere. Complaining later on a review site is bad form.

We have just returned from a couple of days break in Torquay staying at The Redholme B & B. What a fab place to stay, we were made to feel so welcome. The room was immaculate and the breakfast was one of the best we have had at a B & B. The little touches, such as the muffins we were given, make this B & B very special. There was more than sufficient tea/coffee making facilities in our room. We would have no hesitation in recommending The Redholme to anyone and if we are that way again, we would certainly book again. Lindy and Paul

What a truly amazing B & B, we had a wonderful weekend away with friends staying at Redholme, we were greeted by the lovely Mel and Paul who are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble to please their guests. The rooms are immaculate, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was a vast selection of delicious delights, all freshly prepared. On a daily basis Mel makes the most amazing muffins for each and everyone of her guests. This truly exceptional guest house was a wonderful discovery and we can’t wait to book our next visit x

We stayed in Torquay for one night at the Redholme B&B. Mel and Paul were friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautiful and couldn't have needed anything else. A great nice sleep! Followed by an amazing cooked breakfast and the best fruit salad we have had. Delicious, set us up nicely for our next trip. Highly recommended

Ta Laura....really appreciate a Review like this. Ta for the fruit salad mention, we try to do the seasonal fruit, but a mention makes the sourcing worth it! Do the Direct Booking....cheaper, and gives you more beer tokens to use!! Thanks again Mel and Paul.
