What can I say. Superb from start to finish. We stayed in the garden suite. Room was excellent and what a view! Food was some of the best we've eaten and the service was immaculate too. They went out of their way to make everything so special and even got happy anniversary written on a plate with chocolate at dinner 😍. Would recommend highly you stay here for a special treat. You won't be disappointed.

Superb. This was our third visit to this wonderful hotel. We just cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. We stayed in room 1 the garden suite with private terrace and Hot Tub and a wonderful sea view. The staff are very warm and welcoming which made our stay even more enjoyable. It really is a little oasis of calm and tranquility. The food is outstanding and again the service faultless. I would without hesitation recommend this hotel for those who enjoy the finer things in life without the hassle and bustle. We cannot wait to return again.

The hotel was really lovely with fantastic views, our room, although small was very comfortable, if i had one comment it would be that the bed was a little too soft for our personal preference but that is the only slight negative I can find. The breakfast was very good and the whole stay was very good value for money. What really made it was the staff, in particular Karen on reception who was very friendly and helpful when i called to book as the online system wasn't working, her welcome when we arrived was also lovely. Karen also booked a taxi for us and has been particularly helpful in returning some jewellery which I accidentally left behind

This was the perfect place for a weekend catch up with a good friend. From the moment we arrived we felt so warmly welcomed and well looked after by the amazing staff team, who were friendly and attentive while also allowing us to completely relax and enjoy the lovely surroundings. Afternoon tea by the fire in the lounge after a coastal walk in the morning was perfect, and the food at breakfast and dinner was all delicious. So pleased to have found this special place. We will definitely be back again.

We enjoyed a lovely, relaxing stay at the Orestone Manor. There was plenty of parking available. Karen on reception was welcoming and very personable. Room 8 on the second floor was well-designed to maximise the space with a seating area and a good bathroom with bath/shower etc. Plenty of hot water too! My one criticism is that I couldn't help but notice the tile grouting which was less than amateurish. It looked like a quick patch-up job. However, both the bathroom and the bedroom were spotlessly clean! The double bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed a relaxing, undisturbed nights sleep to re-charge the batteries! It was a lovely room! The public area of the hotel were were very comfortable and the decoration was in keeping with the age of the building but without being dated . Someone has an eye for detail and design! We particularly loved the various table lamps - very quirky! The Bay Restaurant was a very nice area and the tables were well-spaced to afford some privacy in conversation. The food was excellent! The River Teign mussels are simply the best in the area and totally delicious. The supreme of chicken was perfect! The hake on tagliatelle was very tasty too and hit the spot. All washed down with a couple of glasses of good Picpoul. Breakfast was great with a good choices of options.. The scrambled egg was perfect! All in all a very enjoyable stay! Visitors to South Devon would find this hotel the ideal base to explore the area and enjoy good food, comfortable rooms and warm hospitality.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the wonderful Orestone Manor The hotel building is lovely and quirky but in a nice way All the staff are fantastic - professional, friendly and totally focussed on giving guests a super time. The family members are very visible around the hotel and quite clearly show that they really do care As for the food - Wow!! Absolutely delicious and freshly cooked. Breakfast and dinner both first class This was our first visit but will not be the last Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to relax with great food Thanks to all the staff for giving us a great few days away

We stayed in the beautifully decorated ‘Art Deco’ room 4. Very comfortable room with everything we wanted to make this a luxurious stay. Two nights was a good time to rest and re-charge plus to experience the superb restaurant. Everything you would expect and more including: fridge, plentiful tea re-fills. Large shower with rain shower, comfortable chairs to relax into and bath.

Our third visit to Oreston Manor and once again an excellent stay. Hotel was tastefully decorated for Christmas. Our meals were outstanding, great quality food, good portions without being too large and friendly staff. The rooms are comfortable, warm and well maintained. The hotel's WiFi is OK, although on top floor can drop out. Have no doubt we will be back in 2023.
