stayed for two nights the rooms were really good the staff are very helpfull and know there stuff great to have a bar for a couple off drinks to relax after a day exploring chester the breakfasts are very good to set you up for the day the big bonus is free parking right on the racecourse great stay thanks jimmy and debbie
We had a four night stay to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. It was amazing the room was fantastic and the buffet breakfast was lovely. All the staff were lovely, especially Angela. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed in room 307 , room was very clean and facilities include kettle and hairdryer , though we had a problem when neither worked . Annoying when you want a coffee when you first wake up . We decided to go down for breakfast and report it to reception , they said they would get it fixed and it was by the time we had eaten . It was a very warm night and as there is no aircon we left the window open and put the fan on , as hotel is next to a train line it can be quite noisy . The pros of staying here are the staff are excellent , and it is a short walk into the city centre , the breakfast is lovely with plenty of choice and we enjoyed the outside area to sit with coffee . We would stay again as it's so easy to walk into the city.
Cannot fault this hotel over a 3 day stay. Great location, free parking, good breakfast and comfortable rooms. Paid extra to secure room with a sofa settee and felt this was worth it. Friendly staff and clean rooms so no complaints. Enjoyed facility that enabled you to get free tea/coffee whenever you wanted. 5 minute walk to main street in central Chester. Thought Chester was great for a couple of days stay. Dont know what it would be like if races were on! Jim
Excellent clean and comfortable accommodation close to all amenities. Staff extremely friendly and could no do enough to assist. Parking was adjacent to the hotel. Free tea/coffee was a bonus and lounge area was very well laid out. Breakfast was first class and buffet readily replenished.
Very friendly staff Lovely room looking over the race course Very clean and tidy The receptionist was very welcoming as we were early and asked if we could leave the car there as we went in to Chester She let us use the facilities straight away hss as d a cup of tea Will. Defiantly stay again
This is the perfect hotel for a business trip in Chester. The hotel is not hidden in the city, yet with free parking and easy access to the surrounding area works really well. The rates are really reasonable and the breakfast is always plentiful yet simple. The rooms are always spotless and fine for one. The only thing to watch out for is that the back of the hotel is against a railway line. Great place and would recommend it for a Chester stay.
My sister, best friend and I stayed here for 3 nights room on the first floor was very comfortable for the 3 if us, breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. Bar area was comfortable Very well positioned a short walk from city centre Definitely stay there again
The stay was good Angela was very helpful Only one problem as a rewards member the points have gone missing spoke to ihg and hotel still missing 😟 shame they let me down again this is not the first time but it will be the last The hotel does no food so be warned!
The 2 people checking us in and looking after us today/tonight have been absolutely amazing. Super friendly and helpful despite being incredibly busy. Nothing was too much trouble. Great to see this wonderful service and we Will definitely be back. Thank you Ange and Terence.
