Rooms were clean and nicely furnished, with an updated look. There is a small fridge and microwave. The best thing about this hotel was they actually took the time to adjust the room doors so they close softly without banging, but the outside door at the bottom of the back stairs slams when it closes. Ironically the worst thing was the beds now have a metal box frame for the mattress to sit on. It bangs, and boings with the slightest movement, and the handles for this contraption stick out past the edge of the mattress. I ended up moving the mattress out slightly so I wouldn't bang my legs. Whoever thought this was a good idea?? There is no way to sleep soundly because with every small shift in weight it sounds like a gong. You can even hear it from the room next door! They should have kept the old box springs and invested in new mattresses instead! That would ensure a good nights sleep, which is what travellers are looking for! There is no breakfast here anymore because of Covid. Other hotels in the Choice chain are offering items in a safe way, but not this hotel. The water at this hotel is EXTREMELY hot, so we had to be very careful. The TV channels listed in the hotel booklet are about half of what are supposed to be there. The remote wasn't programmed properly so you are scrolling through channel after channel that isn't available. Don't think we will be back to this hotel.

Choice Hotels say they are committed to clean but this property is anything BUTT clean…cigarette butts everywhere! The carpets are filthy and the springs in the mattresses sprung long ago. Besides the beds being horribly uncomfortable, there was so much noise at all hours if the night and the police were called. This place needs a makeover before I’d stay there again.

I have never been so creeped out by a hotel room. We are supposed to stay 2 nights but one will be long enough. Dirty room, the smell of booze and weed and smoke and you name it. So disgusted. Nothing was clean and we are pretty sure the bed was just remade after the last guest. Cigarette holes in the bedding.
