The entire place is indeed of TLC. Your Cleaner / Receptionist is miserable most of the time and hardly ever smiles. She is also not welcoming upon arrival. You also need a kettle which can be used on a gas hop when there is power outages. It is not conducive to use a pot. I did however like the fact that my room has a large desk and area where I could work and is the only reason why I stayed. I get the impression that there is no passion for the work they do amongst the staff and the facility is only there to make money and pay their salaries.

Reasonable place. I was just disappointed that by booking a low priced unit online, on arrival I was forced to take a room where a bathroom was shared, unfortunately they dont say that when you book so I was forced to upgrade to a more expensive, which still wasnt good. Breakfast reasonable, room quality poor. Safe place and almost impersonal. Wifi didnt work.

Stayed at Flintstones for one night during the week. It's great value for money. The room is clean and has all the amenities you need from a bnb. It's nice and quiet as well so great to get some work done. Breakfast was ok and the staff were really welcoming and helpful

Very professional service and clean.
I would just like to see plug points near the bed. I could not charge my phone & had to charge it where the entrance was/where the kettle was plugged in.

Great hostess, very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean. All amenities were provided. Such an amazing guest lodge. Always a pleasure. I had a fantastic stay . I feel relaxed and well rested after staying in their comfortable and well decorated rooms. This was definitely money worthwhile spent.

I have loved every moment that I have spent here. Not only has it been quiet. But it has helped me reflect on who I am. The staff are wonderful. No matter what time or what I need, they are always on call. Thank you for a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend staying here. This is a real home away from home.I wouldn't have wanted better.

Very tastefully done, with clean rooms, good service, good breakfast, a pool, fast internet, and safe location. It’s a great value for money for being close to Montecasino. We went to see Pieter-Dirk Uys show and visit Montecasino over the weekend from Swaziland, but did not want to pay exuberant accommodation in Montecasino. This lodge provided a great alternative!

Why is it that a guest house that has 17 rooms, does not have a manager? When I arrived, there were 4 staff slouching around the dining room, which was very intimidating? All queries have to be phoned through to the absent owner. The place is lacking in passion and any attention to detail, the absentee owner squeezing as much profit as he can out of the place. Very basic rooms with no home comforts, and not even a fridge in the room. Very poor lighting in the rooms, and poor maintenance. You have to go outside the room to switch on the hot water???

This is a very average place. But to my horror I saw a MASSIVE cellphone / mobile transmission tower right in the middle of all the rooms - towering above it. Now these things are so loaded with radiation that they have to pay people to have them. They are proved to cause cancer within 800m of the tower. I was so shocked I checked out immediately and drove off. Travellers be warned - there is such a risk to your health with these towers. Don't do it!

The guest house is far from being even good in quality of the service. The rooms arevery poor andshabby. The bathroom is awfull. Cleanliness is somethingthat they simply do notcare for. We had to change the room as in the firstthere was no hot water.Or tatherthere wasbut fortwohours a day.Theinternet although free was available onl for several hours a day. The breakfast was poor - predominantly eggs. The juce was pretty old.

Ask for the Jacuzzi room. We stayed there with our two small daughters.
