The VanderMarck Boutique Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Collingwood’s vibrant downtown and is steps to shopping, restaurants, the theatre, year-round festivals, and activities. Grocery stores, the LCBO, and municipal offices are all nearby, as are Collingwood’s beautiful waterfront and extensive trail network. It’s just a short drive to the area’s many attractions, including Blue Mountain, Scenic Caves, Wasaga Beach, The Bruce Trail and world-class golf courses. The views of the Bay at sunset are spectacular, and there are some fantastic restaurants and breweries in the neighbourhood! The house has a unique history, built-in 1912 for the town doctor and onetime Mayor, Joseph Arthur, by renowned Toronto Architect Eden Smith. We have re-imagined this old house with one goal, creating a memorable experience for our guests. Everything throughout has been selected with care, including the beautiful photography, luxury linens, designer furniture, accessories, handcrafted bath products. The hotel has undergone an extensive renovation and also boasts a beautiful outdoor common area with several water features where guests can relax. For a fee, the patio space is also available for small events and weddings. There are eight (8) suites, located on three floors accessible only by the original staircase. Incorporated into the hotel is the latest technology in locks and security. Surveillance cameras monitor the parking area and all common areas in the hotel. Access through the front entrance and into your suite is by your personal keypad access code. The hotel has no front desk and offers guests maximum privacy. This boutique hotel is unique! It's like having your own condo in Collingwood. Vandermarck's concept is brilliant, easy to access, come and go as you please. Wish I had thought of it!! The location couldn't be any better, it's 3min walking distance to main street/downtown with all shops and restaurants. Beautiful heritage homes all around you. We stayed in Studio 102, had our own balcony with the view of the great patio area below. Who could ask for more! The rooms layout and design esthetic is so on point, take it from us we are interior design professionals. It has a great mid-century modern vibe, timeless. We loved everything about the space, it was clean and modern. The king size bed was so comfortable. From our own little kitchenette, w/mini-bar fridge/freezer, dishes, glasses and full sized sink. Just needed a undercount light above the sink and a dimmer switch for the main room. But those aren't that important. Woke up Saturday morning to find a tray of goodies outside our door. Nice touch! If you feel like you need a get away and want to spoil yourself, Vandermarck and Collingwood are worth it!

Beautiful hotel, perfect location, most comfortable bed ever and very responsive management. Stayed in the 1 bedroom suite- so spacious and love the decor. The outside lounge area also was wonderful. Really just perfect!

We stayed two nights in the Deluxe Studio on the first floor and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The suite was furnished in a neutral minimal style which was comfortable and relaxing. The windows on three sides were balanced by the simple wooden ceiling beams. We admired the thoughtful design and workmanship in creating the suite in this 1912 heritage mansion. VanderMarck is an immaculate boutique hotel well located for restaurants, shops, walking through the town and hiking on nearby trails. The accommodations are unique and the responsiveness by management is excellent.

We stayed for two nights for a mini girls trip. Our room was so bright and spacious. They thought of everything, down to the local toiletries and a cheese slicer. It truly felt like a home away from home, so much so that we opted to order in an just enjoy it our first night. We loved that it was right on the corner just a block from the Main Street of downtown. It was a quick walk to restaurants, shopping and the water. We will definitely return!

My husband and I recently spent a couple of nights at the VanderMarck Boutique Hotel while in Collingwood. The hotel itself is beautiful inside and out! Our suite was on the ground floor with a view to the verdant gardens and lounge area just outside our window. Although our unit (102) was considered a “studio”, we found it quite spacious, exceptionally clean, and well appointed - plus very quiet. Ease of check-in/out, designated parking area, and central location all contributed to our fabulous stay. Thanks for a memorable getaway!
