This place is like paradise. We stayed in an overwater villa and it was fabulous with excellent amenities. What we loved most about Song Saa is how easy they make it and that there are no hidden extras. Want food in your villa? Absolutely fine. Order lunch at your sunbed and they will set up a table for you. The drinks choices were vast and the amount of drinks in your inclusive mini bar was generous. The food was excellent and every night there was a different theme in a different location so we didn’t get bored. We stayed for 4 nights and if we had time I would have loved to stay for longer. We weren’t disappointed, it was the perfect peaceful and beautiful location. Highly recommend.

Song Saa is a magical place and the perfect spot to relax - particularly in the middle of a busy holiday in the region. The accommodation is lovely and the for is delicious. They also go to great lengths to enable everyone to experience different places to dine within the island - a really nice touch., Importantly the work of the The Foundation is fascinating to learn about and explore with the enthusiastic and committed staff. Donald the GM and his team have a created a very special experience which we highly recommend.

Everything on the island was look great at the beginning to the end. Unexpected services providing during accommodation. The staffs need to be ready on establishment for their performance. And one weird question from us, what else can the top management achieve that look better than free of charge whenever we had a complaint or other people else, they'd also raised their complaint. We feel akwarded to experiencing it. We felt this totally wasted of resources.

Had 5 nights in the month of November 2022. Resort definitely needs some renovations. Staff are more than friendly but lacking direction from management. At times we had to look for service at the pool and were told on arrival that the ratio of staff to guests in 4 to 1. The food was outstanding. The resort could be a 10/10 with some genuine management.

Dear Warren & Tania, thank you for taking the time to write a review after your recent stay. I am sorry that on this occasion that we failed to meet your expectations. Our resort is currently undergoing a maintenance post covid-19, the works have stalled due to the 'slow down' in our supply chain that most businesses are experiencing. We are conscious of the product 'wear & tear' due to adverse weather conditions that the resort is exposed to each year. It is unfortunate that we were not able to keep up with our maintenance program during the last 2 years due to a global pandemic. The other factor affecting our work progress, as the resort remained open during Covid-19, our Founder and CEO thought it was necessary to keep our staff employed and motivated during this time. We did not shut down the resort where the lives and welfare of our staff and their families would be affected if they were to lose their jobs. Our support to our staff and the community which they live in was given a priority since many of them are the 'lifeline' to their families back home. On the service issues by the pool, thank you for your feedback, I have shared this with our F&B Manager to assign a member of his team by the pool during the day. I appreciate your comments on our food which I have shared with our Chef and his team. Thank you again, my best.

Amazing and unforgettable experience! There are so many details which make the stay at Song Saa unique and created for us an atmosphere which is not comparable to any other location which we visited before. It starts with the island by itself, the place is in a perfect balance. It is not simply luxury, it is the setup. Silence, taste and an atmosphere which creates relaxation in the minute we arrived. The complete staff is giving you the impression that all is made for you. The food is just excellent, healthy and tasty. The bar on the water with a 360 degree seaview is day and nighttime a massage for your soul, with no disturbances. For exercise we had a fantastic diving trip and saw a great underwater environment. This island is perfect in every way! We had a wonderful few days in the middle of our Asian tour and the setting, staff and food were exquisite. Treat yourself and book to go here you will not be disappointed. Also the work they do for the local area is a real testimony to the culture they are instilling in all of their wonderful staff. We were fortunate enough to visit Song Saa earlier this month, staying for 5 nights on an All-Inclusive basis. It is true to say that all of our expectations were met, if not exceeded, and we return to the UK knowing how lucky we are to have had the opportunity to experience all that makes Song Saa so special. We have ticked a huge ‘wish list’ box by visiting this magical island. Firstly our room, we deliberately chose an Ocean View villa and were glad we did so. From the moment you step off the boat till the moment you leave you are pampered and spoilt beyond your imagination. Reservation is usually the first point of contact with the customer and sadly it wasn’t expected of an well-acclaimed resort. Vandy was most helpful and accommodating but the system and processes are not helping. The number of forms to be filled is bewildering. Understand the covid situation has contributed to it but the processes can be improved. Why not do it online like in check-in using a QR code? The staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive but could be better trained. Ordered a mocha and was given a macchiato was one such examples. State of the resort could also be improved. The planks on the walkways are uneven. God forbids should someone get tripped over walking over them especially in the night when the place is not brightly lighted. The steps leading to…

Dear markIP6013NL, Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay, I'm sorry that it was not perfect. I will discuss with my team about the system and processing of filling in our medical waivers as you've suggested - thank you. Our staff training is an on-going part of improving our service to our guests, we have a number of new graduates from hospitality schools where we are giving the next generation of young Cambodians an opportunity to work in a 5 star luxury resort. I will also discuss this with my management team. The resort is undergoing a maintenance program at present starting with our Overwater Villas, and I agree our walkways are uneven so we are looking at new ways to improve these. The elements of wind, sun and rain and are harsh in our environment hence it takes time to replace all our walkways however, your safety as our guest is our top priority. I've also discussed the barnacles on the steps with my Engineer and his team who are removing the steps from each Overwater Villa and cleaning each one. Thank you for your constructive feedback which we are focusing on. Despite all this, I am happy that you managed to have a pleasant and relaxing stay with us. I have just spent 4 lovely nights at Song Saa on my own, and am so compelled to write a review prior my departure tomorrow. Song Saa has been a very pleasant surprise - I had to change my trip at the last minute due to a Covid Situation at Shinta Mani WILD. Prior to this, I had heard about Song Saa from friends but never really thought I'd visit. I'm glad it happened. Getting here requires some effort. One can either take a 5hr car ride from Phnom Penh or fly into Sihanoukville + 45mins speed boat ride. The drive from Phnom Penh through the countryside is fairly straightforward (good quality road); with a stop mid-way at the PTT petrol station (clean bathrooms and coffeeshops), the journey is pretty do-able (highly recommend a larger, sturdier car like a Ford Everest).…

Our Ocean View Villas offer spectacular views of the open ocean from the privacy of your own beach and private sala. I am happy that you enjoyed this category as one of our most popular choices with our guests. I hope that you have had a chance to practice making our rice porridge for your breakfast? While being a guest on the Island you are invited to do as little or as much as you want during your stay. We offer a tailored range of land, water and foundation activities to suit your preferences. Our dining experience is focussed on fresh, sustainable and 80% locally sourced food. Every dish is inspired by the local environment and celebrates the natural gifts of the islands. I am happy that you enjoyed what we had to offer. It's a shame about the mosquitos which can be annoying, we do regularly fog the Island each month and I am also looking at alternative treatment of the pesky mosquito that is less harmful to the environment and also to our guests & staff.
