Within 100 meters you’re standing on the beach, and you can swim in the crystal clear water of the Ohrid lake.From the each room in the house you have a beautiful view over the lake and every evening you can enjoy the breathtaking sunset. The fresh air and the sounds of the surrounding forest will make the true nature lovers feel at home.Do you really want to immerse yourself in the Macedonian culture, try our home made typical Macedonian breakfast or dinner (including local drinks). But we have also the amenities to cook or barbecue for yourself.Robinson Sunset House has a beautiful green yard (1500 square meters) including a children playground and parking. A small boat, canoe, surfboard and bikes are available for the guests for free. Robinson Sunset House offers: 6 bedrooms, they are equipped with bathrooms, TV, airconditioning and fridge. Free WIFI is available for all guests.
Our family vacation was perfect, thanks to Robinson Sunset hospitality! This family run guest house in the national park offers clean and comfortable bungalows just 3 minutes walk from the lake. You can trek, hike, swim or take a boat tour with Mihail on Ohrid lake. Friendly and warm athmosphere makes you feel home. You can taste Tatiana's delicious Macedonian food. For digital nomads, backpackers, and travelers alike, Robinson is a perfect little oasis nestled in the mountains of Ohrid. Owners Mihail and Tatjana go above and beyond to make you feel like family! I spent a month in the clean and cozy dorms taking in the scenic lake view and settling down by the fire to gather with the other travelers there. There was always a steady internet connection so I was able to do work, and hiking trails right near the house allowed me to get away even further in to nature! Robinson will forever hold a place in my heart not only because of the breathtaking location, but because I felt like I had a home away from home and was always welcomed by the kindest people I have ever met.

Had the best time staying in Robinson sunset House, the host are very friendly and welcoming making your stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are clean and very comfy so you rest from the busy city life. My favorite spot was the garden and the yoga platform with the most mesmerizing sunset view.

The most wonderful guest house I have every stayed in located in a quiet village just 15 minutes from Ohrid city centre, which is very accessible by bus. It has stunning views over the lake 24/7 and backs onto the mountains which are also stunning. It is the epitome of lakeside guest house and is so peaceful and serene, you can enjoy the lake or relax in one of the many spots at the place. The rooms are beautiful and immaculately clean with all the amenities provided. The best part about this place is the incredible family who run it who are extremely friendly and hospitable and ensure you have the perfect stay as well as making you feel like part of the family. If you want the best experience of lake Ohrid then this is the place for you.

Robinson's sunset house is by far the most scenic and welcoming accomodation situated on lake Ohrid. The property is based outside of Ohrid town in a serene spot of nature on the edge of the lake. It's difficult to put into words the extent of how peaceful the property is, it's slightly up the hill from the lake in a very quiet area that offers a beautiful sunset view across the whole lake. It's the perfect place to relax and truly unwind. Come here for a slow pace of life: to paddle or swim on the lake (on a nearly private beach), to enjoy local Macedonian culture, food and of Rakija! To hike around the surrounding mountains taking in the breathtaking views, or simply to unwind and read in a hammock or play with nearly born kittens. The host Misha is full of stories andis excellent company, he really embodies the famous Macedonian hospitality.
I could not recommend Robinson's enough I truly felt welcome and like one of the family - I left rejuvenated with memories and new friends, I will definitely be visiting again!

This is one of the best places to stay around Ohrid. It is a nice get away from the city but still close enough to get to by bus (about 15 minutes). The views are absolutely stunning but I think the people are what make this place truly amazing. The family that runs the hostel is so caring and sweet I felt so welcomed from the moment I got here. Abby one of the volunteers was an absolute gem making my stay even better. If you can, I recommend the boat trip here. You go around the lake to a couple of different swimming spots, lunch with drinks is included (some of the best fish I have ever had in my life, get the Macedonian trout), and an overall perfect day. Micha was such a great person to take us out on the boat, so personable, knowledgeable, etc and you also get Bubba (the dog) who comes along and is an even better swimmer than I am probably.

100% this is the place you have to stay when you come to Lake Ohrid. Robinsons is right on the lake with a beautiful view, access to a market, and a few restaurants. And you have a shared spacious kitchen, lots of places to relax outside, every room has a beautiful view, and the family who runs the place is the best. And not to mention the pool and yoga studio!!! This is the most beautiful place in Macedonia and at Lake Ohrid. I am very grateful for the time I’ve spent here, and I can’t wait to come back again :)

This family run guest house is the real deal! They make you feel so welcome from the moment you set foot on the property. The view is absolutely stunning with hospitality to match, a true Macedonian experience. If you get the chance do the boat trip with Micha it was the best day on the water and definitely worth every cent. 10/10 will be back.
