We did a stop in the Morning Mist Resort between Phuket and Koh Samui and really like it there. The bungalows are in the middle of a garden with many beautiful flowers and also you see there monkeys, frogs and butterflies. The bungalow itself is basic but has two comfortable and clean beds, a fridge and all you need. The only thing is that there is no Wifi in the bungalow itself but only at the cafe/reception area because its such a big area but thats fine anyway because if you are in the jungle then dont stick to your devices ;)

The owner is a friendly woman who speaks great English and has a litte cute daughter who also speaks English pretty well. My little daughter loved to play with her! Her son helped all the guests with the luggages and also when we needed help in our room, they immediately did. So great service for only the two of them taking care of the resort! Also they have a little pool to refesh yourself.

The best thing about the resort is that you get this jungle vibes with all the noises from the animals and I totally recommend to book a bungalow with RIVER VIEW! And yes, if you dont like moskitos, cockroaches, ants, geckos and all the other insects then just dont go the the national park & jungle at all because of course there you find them - also in your house ;)

Can’t fault it, amazing location, 5 mins walk from the jungle. Done the night safari and lake tour. Loads of bars and other kinds of shops 2 mins away.

We booked the bungalow with river view, rooms were fine, basic but air con and running shower is all you need as you’ll be on the balcony watching monkeys etc or out in the jungle or bars.

Best Value for money you can get! It is a real Thai experience! You live literally in the middle of the jungle in a small bungalow. It’s all basic but it’s all there. And clean. We didn’t have one insect or similar in our room - although it is easily possible for them to get in. Bathroom is kind of outside the house (surrounded by walls walls and roof above) but much better than we expected. Staff is friendly, service is good. They even picked us up in our old resort. If you don’t like the big resorts, this is perfect for you. We stayed with two very young child’s in one room (double bed and single bed) and it worked good! Breakfast not included. Be careful - they don’t refund if you check out early. If we could, we would have stayed much longer!!

We had an extremely enjoyable 4 night stay at this resort. Our room was lovely and spacious and very clean. Water was provided every day too and a new loo roll. The gardens were amazing and we saw huge butterflies, wonderful flowers, a massive lizard, which I later realised was pretty extra cool, and monkeys. We also heard the very loud cicadas which really is a treat....

The food was nice and reasonably priced and the seating area at the
lady) which was a massive shame. I was a little disappointed as the Thai people have such a great reputation for being friendly!!!! But don't let that put you off. It's just how we felt.

The accommodation is in an amazing environment, surrounded by a jungle near the river. The rooms are well-kept and clean, and we often had a friendly gecko visitor. The staff is pleasant and helpful. I would gladly return on another occasion.

Right in the jungle and hotel fitted accordingly, khao sok is beautiful.

Fully immersed in the jungle which is really cool, wildlife everywhere.

Room clean enough but does have jungle feel, not luxury but nice.

Head of house (maybe owner?), spoke perfect English and was very friendly and had a sense me humour, top man.

Perfect accommodation in national park, 5 minutes from entrance to it. Bungalow very clean, with fan inside, quite modern bathroom. No vermin. There are 3 restaurants on the place, very nice swimming pool. Staff ok but not very helpfull. Extremely cheap for that nice place and their standard. They have many trips and other attractions, enough to ask in reception.

Beautiful oasis in super flower filled gardens, complete with pool and wifi, but just a few steps form restaurants. Stayed an extra night as it was so relaxing and had to make ourselves take advantage of the park and lake with so many things to do and see. Great staff and cocktails! Recommended.

Well the place is not to bad but the owner was really an as...... She ruined our day and putted us in a really bad mood. It will be to long to explain, but our worst experience in 1 month travel in Thailand. There are many great places around where you can book a room or bungalow. I prefer giving my money to good people. So if you have a choice try an other place

Hello I can't give details on questions one and two. 3 Usually a massage is 300 baht for about an hour. More if you find a fancy spa. 4 Restaurant is meals from the menu, unless they have changed things, from what I remember food was OK and prices about the same you'd find else where in resort areas, it depends on dishes you choose. The restaurant and swimming pool area is quite nice, some of the huts where you sleep are showing their age, unless they upgraded since I was last time. I'd call it fairly basic accommodation nothing spectacular, but fair enough for the price. Hope that helps a little!
