What a fabulous place this is! The bungalows (just 10) are all separate and surrounded by bamboo etc so they are completely private.
You are greeted by the manager Sia who never stops smiling. She works like a trojan and makes you feel like a VIP. She looks after everyone so well, answering questions , checking you have everything you need and even gives you a lift into the village.
The village which is on the road leading to the entrance to the National Park is not far and can be walked but in the heat it may be better to drive.
The bungalows are clean and spacious with safe, tea/coffee, hairdryer and spacious bathroom plus all have a mossie repellant.
There's a good size terrace at the front which is completely private too.
There is a pool which is ideal to cool off after walking in the national park or a visit to Cheow Lan lake.
We stayed for 3 nights and ate at the hotel. There's a good choice on the menu all served quickly with a smile. We sat in the little courtyard, again surrounded by wonderful plants and flowers, listening to the birds etc.
There's a small nursery you can wander around with so many different orchids, cacti, ferns etc .
We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this wonderful little oasis.

Stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting the National park. Everything was organized for our trip to the National Park by the hotel, they kindly let us store our bags there while gone over night. Food was out of this world, so healthy and fresh. Hotel it’s self is beautiful. The manager and staff where so helpful and nice. We spent a month traveling Thailand and this was a major highlight. Just amazing.

It is our Thai favorite hotel and we will definitely come back here! the location in the heart of the vegetation, the support for all our activities (custom and private, and the price is the same everywhere in Khao sok), everything is done to allow us to think of nothing. Mr Chot is an exceptional host, a real crush, we felt like we were with family! the setting is incredible, the rooms absolutely lovely and we didn't have a single animal or mosquito even though we were in the middle of the jungle! the swimming pool and the greenhouse are adorable, every little touch perfectly thought out. We had a divine massage at the spa and all the excursions were incredible (day at the lake, caves, trek, canoe...), it is far from the small village with its restaurants and bars but we preferred the atmosphere of the hotel in the evening and there are taxis that lift you for 50 baht/pers.. thanks again Mr Chot and see you soon! Alex & Maud

The hotel is located close to one of the main roads, but the rooms are far enough in the jungle so that it is very quiet.
The staff is amazing and will try to make everything right for you. A couple next to us asked for a specific dish that was not on the menu. They arranged it for the next day! Generally very caring and an honest team. They give you tips which trips are the best (and not a rip off…).
The rooms are decent sized, very clean and come in small seperate bungalows. All located in the jungle so you can actually hear all the animals - amazing!
I unfortunately lost my bag on one of the tours. And the hotel team put so much effort in to get it back! They even sent it to my follow up hotel across the country - calling the other hotel making sure everything works out. Will for sure come again :)

We stayed at this nice property for three nights which is located outside of Khao Sok town and that makes this a nice peaceful resort in the national park. Twelve rooms are available on the property and though we were a couple we booked a two room cottage as we desired greater space. However naturally these were designed as two separate rooms for two couples.
This being in the national park obviously does not have the same comfort level of city hotels. However it does have a very good feeling of being in the park, with a lot of trees and vegetation.
The restaurant on the property has very limited choice for food which is of a lower standard than one would expect on Thailand. The scooter that we hired from the property was not in great shape and a bit old compared to other rentals in Thailand. The manager is always available and willing to help with all the information you require on his finger tips. The other staff are also very obliging.
A nice property to stay at if you are willing to compromise on the food a bit. No restaurants in the immediate vicinity, walking distance.

Very solid Bungalows made of bricks set in a beautifully arranged tropical garden. Nice and spacious Pool which really allows swimming. During our entire stay of 3 nights the whole team including the owner Miss SIA was always very supportive and friendly. The breakfast was ok, the Dinners were of excellent quality. We booked one day Trekking in the National Parc and one Full day at the Lake. Both tours were good. However, if you have little time, go for the Lake!

On the surface everything is ok, yes.... BUT if you like the loud noise of the road at the swimming pool...you have to pay only in cash, this and other details look dodgy, the pool does open at 8 am and close at 6.30 pm it is written nowhere, I personnally booked there because I love to swim early morning, at least from 7 and after the day activity so at this hotel forgot about it. the photo of the pool is far from the reality lol not that big. The room is real dark, We had to ask for towels after house cleaning, the sheets had spotted... The guy was really suspicious with everything, not comfortable at this place., they almost forgot to give the key deposit back, glad I had a shake before leaving lol

Pleasant stay, serene environment .
Cute separate bungalows , smaller “resort” .
They offer all inclusive breakfast, with a variety to choose for meals - not buffet style.
The food was really good.
The staff very very helpful & friendly - but small staff.
Great help with trip excursions & rides to the main town .
Mini mart next door door which is walking distance .
A true getaway , when you want to get away.
Also the best tour experience was the Lake Cheow tour .

The rooms are okay but pretty basic. One shower was the first day cold. Next days half warm. The hotel is outside of the village which we knew but is not so convenient is you want to have dinner in the village. The hotel provides a shuttle but only till 5 pm. The main issue I have with this hotel is that the manager is really pushing tours. Apperently they make a good margin on this so they really try to push you in tours. Also if you ask for transportation to the village the price is almost double when you arrange somewhere else. In my view not a good and clever way to service your clients. In my experience Khao Sok is overall developing in the wrong direction. Not really friendly like elswhere and really expensive tours that are not all that great. The nature is beautiful but I would only recommend to go there if you don’t get frustrated with the cons mentioned above.

Responded 7 Aug 2023
Dear Mr Peter, First of all, we apologize for the problem you had with the hot water in the shower and that we solved as soon as you reported it to the reception by increasing the thermostat of the electric heater. We apologize, once again. We would like to give our opinion, and that of many of our clients, about the manager, Mr. Chot, since when our clients arrive at our resort, he informs them of all the possibilities, of all the activities that they can do in the Khao Sok Natural Park, but never, pressing or forcing the client to do them with us. If you look at the comments or revius of our clients, where you can see that a fairly high percentage speak well of Mr. Chot and Mrs. Joy, and that they always try to help our clients feel comfortable during their stay with us. . We are very sorry that we were not able to make you and your family feel comfortable at our resort. Regarding your opinion of Khao Sok, it is generally developing in the wrong direction compared to other places in Thailand, we believe that it is not in line with reality, because more and more tourists come to Khao Sok, looking for their beauty offered by all its activities related to nature, to escape the crowds of other more popular places in the tourist guide of Thailand. If you had entered all the forums of travelers who come to Khao Sok, you would have discovered what the Khao Sok Natural Park is like. We wish you that your holidays in Thailand are as pleasant as possible. Thank you Francisco

David and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Khoa Soc hotel and spa. The accommodation blends in with the surrounding eco reserve and we felt like we were living in a rainforest. Mr Choy, manager, helped us choose unique experiences including an elephant encounter and bamboo rafting trip to alcove where local pancakes made of rice flour and coconut were served. We also enjoyed an interesting night canoe journey and saw mangrove snakes...safe reptile encounter

Hi, we arrived from Ko Phangan and booked on the island a ticket for the ferry and the Bus transportation. I guess that this is also possible from Ko Phi Phi. They are all well organised and on every corner is a travel agency. Good luck!
