Location, location, location! Nicolau is very zen, knows the tides and tells you how to get to secret beaches. He is very accommodating of your needs. The bed was comfortable and my shared room was spacey enough for me to do yoga. The bathrooms were also roomy, there was always hot water and complimentary liquid soap. Great collective environment in the hostel, with young travelers sharing experiences. The dog Nilo also kept me company. Great value for money accommodation!

Hi guys, this place is super nice and clean. The owner is incredibly friendly and the best place to stay for a couple of days. We are absolutely no hostel fans, but this place is great. Easy going, uncomplicated and fair! To the owner: thank you for the great recommendations for the trail! All the best Mihajla

Just been here with my sister for a night and we loved the place so much! Located near the ocean, with awesome view from the roof top, spotlessly clean, bright, cozy and welcoming. The owner is a kind guy with a cool no-stress attitude, this made our time here very pleasant. You can book shared dorm, or private room, but whatever is your choice, it is lovely. I hope we can return here soon.

I started my hike on the Rota Vicentina staying in Porto Covo. This was a totally reasonable place to stay the night before starting my hike. Beds were standard fare dorm beds but I was tired and had no problems sleeping. What was most helpful was that our host gave lots of information about the hike over the four days. He also gave great recommendations for restaurants in the area (I had some incredible fish!) Also to note: it costs 1 € to use a towel.

This was our stop after 3 days on the Roto Vincentina. When we left my friend forgot her passport and money. Our host Nicholas made arrangements to have it sent at no charge to us to the next place we were going. The accommodations were very clean and friendly. It was cold so the fire in the fireplace was welcomed.

It was one night in separated room. Clean and friendly. Cool atmosphere. Host was so calm and helpful. Free wifi. Silent although many people stayed in this hostel. Easy to find. Thats it. Nothing more nothing less.

We started our Rota Vicentina Hike here. Nicolaw (we are guessing the owner), gave us a quick overview of the 4 day hike ahead of us that was extremely helpful. It turned out to be very useful to be in a hostel rather than hotel for access to a kitchen to prepare sandwiches etc. Nicolaw also recommended a delicious fish restaurant. The hostel has a very cute roof terrace. Bathrooms and the place in general were extremely clean. All in we were really glad starting the trip here as we hadn't too much of a clue what we are getting into and that hike overview was exactly what we needed. The hike was beautiful btw.

If you ever go to Porto covo paradise go in this hostel. Really pretty, familiar and the host is very very kind. Wanna come back now! The rule "no stress" is easy to follow here. Great ocean view, nice design
