This is a very well laid out and very well kept campsite with a range of pitches and chalets to rent. there is an excellent pool area. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the front of the site. We didnt use the restaurant so cant comment on that but the shower facilities are some of the best we have encountered. We would highly recommend

Stayed there the second time and it was again excellent. With a camper one should stay on the new area. Sanitary is very clean and all the staff are friendly. From this year on they belong to the Yelloh groupe and it is planned to modernize the old area and to build new Spa and restaurant facilities. Work is planned to begin end 2020 and will go on for 2 years. The place stays open.
We have been very impressed by the Restaurant which is now open all the year. Menu is excellent and the cooks are doing a great job. We enjoyed the kitchen several times.

This is a lovely campsite with good facilities for the kids, swimming, cycle carts, sports pitch, and a little park for younger ones, hence our decision to stay here.
it’s clean, tidy and the pitches are a good size with both shaded areas and unsheltered areas.
The only downside is if you are like me and don’t want to cook every night of your holiday but don’t really want to leave site, if you wanted to use the facilities to eat, the restaurant is very pricey and doesn’t have a kids menu. The shop has limited stocks of food to cook on a barbecue or on the stove/grill and is also expensive.

The beer sold here is a choice of artisan brews, whilst these are nice if you like this type of beer, there isn’t an option to choose other more common brands such a Sagres or Superbock.
The average glass of wine is in the region of €6.50. Wine by the bottle starts at €16. They don’t have a bar area to grab a quick drink, you must order in the restaurant seating area either inside or outside, both of which are very nice by the way!

However, all is not lost for those who are keeping an eye on their camping purse, in a short walk about 10 minutes max from the site is the small town of Porto Covo which is beautiful. It has a lovely range of shops and restaurants all of which were very reasonable and the food in the Italian restaurant by the square was delicious.
There is also a Meu supermarket to grab all your food essentials for cooking back at the van or tent.

Overall, I would recommend this site but if you are not into cooking every night and you are looking for a place where there is a family friendly selection of places to eat and drink on site, this is not for you.

Covid precautions are in place on site but all facilities are open and available.

Family facility friendly....yes
Clean and tidy...very
Location......great
Wallet friendly....definitely not

After receiving an email confirming that we could use our ACSI card on the Motorhome gravel pitches, which includes 1 dog, we travelled a thousand miles to get there. On Arrival we were checking in for 30 days, they refused to honour the ACSI price and also charged us 180 euros for our small dog, we refused to pay this, but the only section of the park where you can use Acsi and not pay 6 euros a day for each dog, is a stinking part at the back of the park with dire pitches, not a place you would want to have a holiday. Customer service non existent and we had to leave even though most pitches were empty

Lousy spots for campers, overpriced. No shadow, small spaces, no water and electricity is far away. Okay the swimming pool is nice, but the sanitary was dirty. €74,- per night. I would go to a campersite because at least your car stands right

If you have a campervan over 5 metres, dont go. Site manoeuvreability is dreadful and the pitches are unkempt, dirty and extremely uneven. Planned to stay a week but will move on an a day or so. Restaurant is supposed to be good so we'll see

This campsite treated ACSI members with dogs badly. We were told if we wanted to stay on any of the pitches we would have to pay €6 a night for our dog, despite a dog being included in the overall ACSI price of €18. If we didn't want to pay that we were shown a piece of hilly land with no flat pitches and the toilets unusable due to renovation. It wasn't a place you would want to spend a holiday, even to stay one night would have been a big disappointment. To sleep on a nice pitch they charged us €27.80 a night, I don't think we got any ACSI concessions. Some people who had stayed there a couple of years ago and found it to be a nice, friendly place, had booked for a month were also subjected to the same trick and left after three days. We have stayed in many beautiful ACSI sites over the years and never been made to feel second class citizens

We booked a 2 night weekend stay for the family. Weather was sunny, 30 degrees celcius. The pool was closed. We were informed at the time of the bookings that the pool would be open.
Once we arrived at the bungalow it was so small that if it was blue one would mistake it for a smurf house. The pictures are misleading to say the least.
Cherry on top the wify does not work inside the bungalow only outside. Even so poorly.
We talked to the manager who was rude, never listened to our complains, talked on top of us and simply did not care.

Avoid, misleading advertizement on most features.

On top of a small mountain overlooking Guimaraes,Portugal.Very friendly staff, pool, decent restraunt and camping on terraces under a canopy of trees. It was 33c but didn't,t feel like that with the tree cover.Great base for touring around this part of Portugal If you don,t want to use the car there is a cable car system to get you up and down the mountain,a 10 minute ride.Quite and tranquil,I highly recommend.
