I stayed here with a friend for the girls night in spa package and I have to say from start to finish everything was perfect. From the Afternoon tea to the evening meal the quality and service was fantastic. We were made to feel so welcome by everybody. It was a much needed break and it was really worth every penny. The chap who ran the restaurant ( sorry didn't get his name) was absolutely on the ball with customer care and couldn't do enough to help. Nadine

This place is great. Went for a girls night in Spa break. The staff can't do enough for you! A very relaxed friendly feel about the whole hotel. The food is good and lots of places to eat and relax. The Spa is a lovely place to unwind with the friendly ladies who give the treatments. Special thanks to all the food and beverage staff. Must mention Dana who always goes out if her way to make us feel welcome. We will be back but may be earlier than next November as don't want to wait that long to return.

Great Sunday driver. Golf course was in good condition for November, the greens were especially good. Excellent value for money. Friendly, helpful staff in the bars, restaurants and golf shop. Food was very good as well. Will definitely book again.

I would love to rate this 5* as there were so many amazing things about this place but I'll just get negatives out way first to show why I gave 4*. Me and my mum came here as a joint birthday treat (I was born on her birthday) even though our birthdays were in June this is soonest we could get somewhere together because of work commitments, it was supposed to be a getaway for us as I've been having such a bad time mental health wise recently and also being in hospital because of mobility issues in my legs that have been causing immense pain just from walking or trying to take steps. We had booked full body massages for this very reason and were told they were the only treatments left for the date we wanted. When we got to the spa we were told it was for back massages so something had obviously gone wrong on the system there. I told them I wanted a full body as that's what we had ordered and the reasons I wanted a full body was mainly because of my legs in the first place. They told me they could do half the time on my back then half the time on my legs and as nice as the massage was it wasn't what we wanted or expected. The website states the pool is heated but we thought it was pretty cold both days we went in and I had goosebumps been in there after 20 minutes, it also seemed to have more chlorine than water and my eyes swelled up the rest of the day. Upon first glance at pool we thought the 'jacuzzi' area was a kids pool, it was only after talking to a regular there we realised it had water jets in but they hadn't turned them on, when they did you could feel the freezing cold water shooting out of it. The sauna and steam rooms are very small which was fine as only 2 of us and nobody else was in them when we were but I can imagine if it was busier you wouldn't get in at all. The sauna would only really fit 3 people comfortably if you wanted some decent space between you. Our room was nice and the beds were comfy enough but our room got so hot I couldn't sleep and it did feel like there was a winter topper underneath, we were also woken up by a rowdy drunk group of men who had no consideration for other people and were treating the hallway as their own personal playground. I understand this isn't the hotels fault it was just frustrating when we had came here to relax. Okay, onto the good stuff. We had a very nice greeting upon arrival and we were there before check in, we could still make use of all the facilities so that was great. We headed straight for the pool. You get a towel and locker key supplied for you. The lockers are very awkward and we wasn't warned or shown how they worked so just bear that in mind and test you can lock and close one first before getting ready as it took us absolutely ages to work them out and we clearly weren't the only people as some of the lockers had stuff in and weren't locked. After a swim and checking out that area we headed to the upstairs bar to have a late breakfast. I got a fruit bento box. We then headed to lounge area and sat by the fireplace with a drink each. After checking in and relaxing in our room a little while we went to dinner for our 3 course meals. We were served by Ryan the first night who was very friendly, charismatic and had the fine art of checking on us without overcrowding us down to an absolute t. Best food I've had in a while and all clearly fresh ingredients used, I had leek and potato soup as a starter, butternut squash rizotto for main and lemon sorbet for dessert. Couldn't fault any of it. In the morning we got all you can eat buffet breakfast, I always love being able to help myself to food but not only that, you could order a cooked breakfast on top of it too! Took full advantage of this. The second night we were served by Wendy who was also amazing and made sure we were happy, her smile and fun personality was infectious. They change their specials every day. I had mozzarella and tomato in a vinaigrette for starter, mushroom risotto for main which was especially made for us as being vegetarians we didn't appear to have many options on the menu but were catered for accordingly anyway when asking about it. I then had creme brulé for dessert and it was the best dessert I think I've ever had. Overall a really nice place and considering we didn't make use of the gym facilities or play golf it was still a very nice stay. If we are back in the area anytime soon I think we will probably visit again just for the food. Thank you for having us.

We had a superb stay at Barnham Broom. Our rooms were perfect for a one night stopover, the food and service in the restaurant for dinner was top notch as was breakfast the next morning. One of the classiest full English's I think I have ever seen! Add in the pool and gym plus a warm welcome on reception and what's not to like?

It was very well placed in the country side, peaceful and quiet. The team were friendly and very attentive. Rooms were very comfortable with a large bed, spacious bathroom and room to work. The coffee bags were a pleasant surprise!

Spent one night and regretted not having booked a whole weekend. We were met by Sharon at reception. She immediately brightened up my gloomy day. The hotel and room were clean to a fault and the food was delicious. All the staff members we met were very friendly. Looking to seeing Sharon at our wedding 😊.

We really enjoyed our two night stay. The size and location of the Valley Suite was perfect for my golf loving partner and I. The bottle of Prosecco was a fabulous birthday touch. Afternoon tea was good. The Barnham Broom tea was delicious. The Sports Bar area was very welcoming, spacious and comfortable. We ate dinner and breakfast in The Brasserie restaurant which was comfortable. Our meals were plentiful and tasty. We very much enjoyed our treatments in the Spa. The staff were welcoming, friendly and delivered an excellent service. My partner played the Hill golf course (the Valley course was closed) which he very much enjoyed. The hotel is a little dated with single glass glazing. The hotel has a lovely setting. It is comfortably furnished and very spacious. The hotel has a warm friendly environment. The level of service, comfort and facilities on offer enhanced our stay.

My partner booked this as a surprise night away for our anniversary. We arrived rather early just so we could make the most out of the spa before being able to check in to our room. We were actually able to check in early because the room was all ready for us. We had a junior suite and it was perfect. So cosy, the bed really comfy. We straight away headed to the spa which was very relaxing. Definitely needed with being parents and our jobs. We had some nibbles in the sports bar which were delicious and kept us going until our dinner in the evening at the Brasserie. Dinner exceeded our expectations. We had the steak off the specials and the chocolate cake with cherries and white chocolate ice cream. All of the staff went above and beyond for us as it was our anniversary. Sharon on reception was amazing and made us feel so welcome as soon as we arrived. Thank you to everyone for making the break extra special for us.
