In an ideal and privileged enclave, 3km from Potes, are the Rural Housing EL BARRIO. It is a set of six fully equipped houses, whose construction is a base of stone and wood, getting a very warm decor. Have two or three bedrooms, one or two bathrooms, kitchen and living room with fireplace to enjoy the winter evenings, which will make your stay unforgettable. All the homes have the typical broker mountains from where they can enjoy an excellent overview of the Picos de Europa. The buildings are surrounded by large gardens with fruit trees, where they also found the swimming pool, barbecue and numerous attractions for children. We invite you to make a visit to our winery with tasting of wines and spirits "PEAK".

We just had a lovely few days relaxing and visiting the Picos de Europa. The cottages were lovely, very nice and clean and with stunning views! Excellent food in the local bars and restaurants, a lot to see and visit in the area. Thanks to all and we look forward to coming back soon, Ellen and family.

We had a 3 bedroom apartment for the 4 of us (2 singles and a couple). We had view of two valleys through large glass doors inside the balcony in the living room. Hostess was very helpful even guiding us toward some fantastic hiking trails nearby. She also pointed out that they had a Bodega on the property which not only offered tours of the winery, but also some taste testing free of charge. Tour was very educational and wines were excellent. Beds and rooms were very comfortable and given it was chilly out also heated to a comfortable level.
There is a lovely trail off the road and down the valley to Los Potes about 3km away.
We would love to go back again some day.

An idyllic place surrounded by nature, total tranquility and spectacular views, the little things don't lack anything and the pool is great.
We went for ten days and we liked it so much that we stayed ten more days.
100% recommended.

We paid alot of money to stay in the larger farmhouse in this collection of houses attached to a hotel. When we arrived the owner didn't even realise we were coming! Was very unfriendly, said she spoke NO english, even though 99% of her guests that came and went during our stay were English, Irish or Dutch (who spoke perfect English). She wanted cash from us - even though we were told to pay credit card on arrival. Said her machine was broken. We said we would wait until the machine was fixed to pay...and that we did.
Overall, very poor value for money. No welcoming faces from the owners. Not helpful at all about local things to do or any information about the property, what was available, etc.
Farmhouse was very basic, dark and musty - no toaster, no kettle, no dishwasher!!!
Outdoor pool could have been lovely but never maintained by the owners. Guests were cleaning bugs out of the pool daily. Poolside furniture never wiped down.
The location of the propery is scenic but unfortunately thats about it.

Lovely place but due to the owner's dislike we will not return again, we have been in that area for many years and there are many apartments with much more pleasant treatment than this lady.
Despotic and rude
