The Roseate Ganges Rishikesh enjoys high marks for its cleanliness, with guests frequently mentioning its spotless rooms and well-maintained environment. The service garners commendation for the staff's attentiveness and courtesy, although a few guests have encountered rudeness. Its serene jungle atmosphere and scenic mountain views contribute to its appeal, while the modern amenities and personalized services receive consistent praise. While the rooms are generally regarded as comfortable, noise and less-than-ideal views are occasional drawbacks. The hotel's dining experience is often deemed to justify the premium cost, even as some debate the overall value. Its location near the city and along the Ganges is a highlight for many visitors.

Location: The hotel is in the woods with ganga nearby, with pleasent arrivals of variety of birds and monkeys. But the hotel is far from the main city with hotel not providing any transfers free of cost. We even had a fight with staff there on this, since they confirmed over call that they would provide transfers but later in hotel they denied. And the hotel is almost 20 km away from laxmanjhula, which makes transfers very expensive. So unless you take your own car, don't rely on hotel transfers.

Rooms and services : The rooms were aesthetically pleasing, but were not as spacious as I expected for booking a villa. The rooms for a villa were not more than a single deluxe bedroom in a good hotel. But still the architecture, view and washrooms were all well managed and pleasing to eyes. I also had no problems with room service. They were on their toes in helping with all things we required. And in all their services they were extremely cordial and helpful.

Restaurant and food : This is where the resort outshined many of my other stays. It was far above perfect. And here I would specially like to mention services of Mr. Salman, restaurant staff at the resort. He was cordial, with a gentle smile always. He was like a cold breeze in a warm summer night. We were a group of 12 people, with all varying choices and to be honest a little clamorous too. But he not only smilingly took orders but gave his own suggestions, satisfied needs of every individual perfectly and was literally hopping to serve us the best. I have never experienced such an energetic and passionate hotel staff as him. Further the food was also amazing. Special kudos for dal makhani which one should never miss. All other things were also absolutely delicious and in this regard we were satisfied the most.

Other things : the resort is not very huge. You can expect it to be more like business hotel. The resort does not have much options for kids. Other than that, the setting is quite beautiful and their is a small trek to the river from the resort which is also delightful.

Overall, I would like to say, the stay was excellent with glitches regarding the transfers, and poor handling of the situation by the staff at reception. The location is quite favourable for people who want to enjoy the hotel only, but if you want to travel to main city, then it would be a little problem if you don't have own vehicle. The staff is very courteous in general. And check the room pictures before booking the hotel, since you may be disappointed with the room size keeping the congruence of price in mind.

A beautiful boutique resort along the banks of the ganga. This is a mesmerising place, beautifully located and very well designed with good privacy and amenities.

The rooms and bathrooms are well designed. All the rooms have a nice view of the mountains.

The service in the hotel is impeccable and the staff goes out of their way to make the stay comfortable. We were positively surprised by the fresh quality of the food.

Chef Chetan Rana went out of his way to cook us sumptuous meals. The food was outstanding. All the dishes were made fresh and with local ingredients.

The ganges is a 5 minuted downhill walk. It is very private and exclusive. We enjoyed being by the banks of the ganga alone for hours.

Really a great family vacation.

I have been staying in roseate for almost an year now..I prefer no other hotel than this... but I went to roseate ganges for the first time this month and i must say it is more beautiful than I thought it would be. It a great escape from our busy lives. The staff at this property makes you so comfortable as if you are a guest at their house. We went down to their 'white beach' which is 20 mins walk downhill from the resort they made sure we had a security staff who took us safely and was quiet informative about the places around. The entire experience was wonderful make sure you look for Salman from the dining staff as your server he goes out of his way to arrange what you want for your meal and never fails to make you try their chef special which always turns out to be awesome.
I would also like to thank their front office staff who upgraded us and took us to our room directly after we arrived and made us complete our formality Comfortably in our room instead of standing at front desk.

Thank you soo much for everything Team Roseate Ganges.

Happy Guest.

We had one of the worst experiences ever staying at Roseate Rishikesh.

We were travelling with a baby and had booked the Executive Villa. When we checked in, there was no baby crib available - hotel said they have only 1 baby crib and that is occupied. They asked us to 'adjust'.

The rooms are interconnected which means you can always hear people and noise in the other room and there is little privacy.

Service was extremely bad. For simple things like having utensils picked up, we had to call 3-4 times and wait for at least half an hour.

The first night of our stay, the AC stopped working around 11 PM. We had to call the reception 3 times and everytime the service person said he is trying to fix it. They asked us to 'adjust'. We slept in the heat.

The next morning the team said they have now fixed the AC and it would work fine.

However, on the second night, again around 11 PM the AC stopped working. We waited all night for the team to fix it. They checked the room temperature and agreed that it was suffocating. However, the hotel staff told us to 'adjust' as all the rooms are occupied. We didn't sleep all night because of the heat.

The only positive in our stay was the restaurant where the food was very good and the Restaurant team helped us a lot with food for our baby.

We checked out exhausted from our stay having paid a super hefty sum. It was one of the worst experiences ever staying at Roseate and we will never ever recommend it to anyone.

Roseate Ganges

We went to the Roseate Ganges to celebrate our anniversary in July 2021. Keeping aside the initial booking blunder, our stay was great. The reservation staff made a mistake in our booking and after few hours of disappointment and arguments, to make up for the mistake, they gave us a free upgrade to the highest category room - the Presidential Suite room.

Room: The room was huge with a living room and bedroom and a large balcony with open air jacuzzi.
Waking up to the chatter of birds in the morning was heavenly. The room is equipped with a microwave and coffee maker apart from the electric kettle. Having a microwave in room makes stay really comfortable.

Food: The restaurant and bar had beautiful views of the pool and lush gardens. The food was scrumptious and the waiting staff was also very attentive to all our requirements. The variety in food was less as compared to my liking, but every dish was delicious and perfect.

River: The highlight of this resort is the private riverbank which they refer to as the private beach. The riverside is very clean and beautiful and one can capture beautiful pictures over there. But do remember to wear comfortable footwear as it is a bit far and you need to walk on rocks. Not possible for the elderly to go.

Staff: The staff at the resort were very courteous and respectful, and I would especially like to mention Mr Amit, who went out of the way in accompanying us to the river as it was getting dark. I also want to mention the girl who got us our special cake (I forgot her name) and Mr Akshay who himself offered and packed us lunch on our day of departure, and the guy in the bar (missing his name too).

Yoga, gym and spa: We loved the free one hour morning yoga session which was the best part of our stay.
It was conducted in the poolside area. Our Yoga teacher Ms Meenakshi is really passionate and dedicated about teaching Yoga and conducted the session based on our abilities. She even extended the session beyond an hour because we were really enjoying it.
The gym was a small one with a treadmill, cycle and weights but we did not use it. The spa was not operational due to Covid. The pool was also closed but the poolside area is beautiful and worth spending leisure time.

I would highly recommend this resort to friends and family and would definitely love to visit again sometime.

Suggestions for the hotel:
1. Arrange for few more options in the food menu.
2. Wifi was somewhat slow, needs improvement.
3. Please ensure your reservation staff is more careful in future.
4. You are doing great, keep up the good work.

Was there for Anniversary Lunch and was truely mesmerised by the location, ambience & view of the hotel & Chidiya Ghar.

The food was tasty and simple with amazing copper platters, cutlery and bowls.

The girl serving started good but she seemed quite confused later on, served us main course plates before my wife completed starters, similarly the wet towels were offered before she completed her main course. I would suggest if on a table one person completes meal first, only one should be cleared and offered the wet towel (which i had to ask after waiting for 10 mins) and should not be offered to other person while they are having their meals.

The open kitchen at the restaurant was good.

We wanted to have an eggless cake/pastry to celebrate our anniversary but it was not available which was most saddening part. Flourless cake could have been offered as a freebie as there was unavailability of eggless pastry/cake.

Portion sizes are good for all the food items but it was too much for us, we didn’t wanted to waste food but it was more according to out appetite.

I don’t know if there is a VAT applicable on Liquor in Uttarakhand but we paid 20+% VAT for our domestic wine, it is applicable in Rajasthan but was not knowing if it’s also applicable in UK too.

For payment through card we had to go down to the front desk.

Overall ambience was good.

I went to Roseate Ganges Rishikesh on 28th Feb for my 40th birthday celebrations. I am from Delhi and a member of Club B Prive. I made prior reservations with Mansi in Delhi office who was very helpful and booked a table for a dinner for two with 15% discount.
Once we arrived in the evening to the property, the staff was very welcoming and we were given a table at their dining restaurant. The server there, Salman was very friendly and cordial and walked us through the innovative and creative menu. The Local Phadi cusine which the hotel is currently promoting. We tried their local cheese platter which was delicious and dal, ragi phulka with freshly made ghee. Everything was perfect. We paid our compliments to Chef Chetan before we left.
On request the front desk staff intern showed us around the beautiful property. Would love to come back and stay a few nights for our next trip to Rishikesh.
Thank you for making our special day even more Special Team Roseate,
Keep making customers happy :)
God Bless

We stayed here for three days. The property is beautiful, well laid out and cozy. The rooms while small are very well made and comfortable.
The food menu was quite limited for a three day stay as this is the only restaurant for lunch and dinner- with my mother who is vegetarian this was a bit of a challenge.
What made the downsides irrelevant is the absolutely amazing hospitality and the quality of staff.
Shahrukh at the restaurant was able to take such good care of everything that he might be one of the best I’ve seen so far. My mother has limited mobility and the staff took that into consideration in every way they could.
Thank you team for a lovely experience and for taking care of us so well.

It’s a good property but we found it a bit too expensive for the rooms and amenities in the hotel overall. But the service makes up for it.. excellent staff.. very courteous. Special shout-out to all the members of Chidiya Ghar restaurant.. Manpreet, Salman, Shubham, Apurva (all the other folks as well; sorry don’t know the names of rest of the people). Ashish who drove us around the entire trip.. again a very courteous gentleman.. literally came with us as a guide and arranged for almost everything we wanted including special seating for the Ganga Aarti. Have to give a special mention to Manpreet specifically because he went a number of times out of his way to make us feel special (including arranging for a tea party by the Ganges) and of course the food was just amazing. The spa session was also excellent. Very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Check in and check out was also very smooth.. Have to mention the front desk guys (Diksha, Shikhar and others) for making the process very smooth.
Rooms are good.. good view.. very minimalist but like I mentioned we felt it was a tad bit expensive. Overall a very good experience.

The Hotel is Chic and has Beautiful surroundings. The real value is it’s personalised service and quality of food which is surreal.

I wish to take the opportunity to express our gratitude to following persons, with whom I interacted during our stay.

1. Diksha ( for understanding our special need n upgrading our room)
2. Chef Deepak Rana for giving us delightful local cuisine n sharing his culinary skills.
3. The restaurant staff Suyash, Pankaj, Komal, Bharati, Ichha for their attention to the details.
4. Bhavishya and Neha for their kindness
5. Special mention of Ashish the hotel chauffeur for his gentle thoughtfulness patience n impeccable driving.

The few downsides are as under

The exceedingly high tariff for the size of the room with bare bone facilities inside.

The rooms also has small annoyance in terms of simple conveniences . As such design and aesthetic consideration has been given priority over functionality.

The swimming pool floor was sticky. The access to river Ganga was not as easy as it appears.

Nevertheless overall memorable experience.
