I travelled with my friends and although the stay was only for a night and that was enough to avail the services provided by the hotel. The super delicious food, courteous staff, always ready to help especially Mr. Afaq front office manager, he is really helpful for all the time, rooms on upper floor are very very good and having the view of ganga river.
Overall very good experience it was and I personally recommend this hotel.

We had a reunion of 98 batch MR medical college.Mr.Ashfaq manager n the whole team was very cooperative n flexible. We enjoyed the stay.
Location of the hotel is very good as it is near the rafting points n it has a adventure n sports area just besides it.There were some camps as well near by.
The main rishikesh area is far off but that shld be okay..as the hotel is very close to nature.
Although we didt use the cottages,they look amazing n wld stay thr in next visit.
Big thank u to Mr.Ashfaq manager who coordinated n managed r reunion successfully.
N I need to mention a lady in the reception helped my guests by guiding them personally from shivpuri to rishikesh. Without her help they wld have been stuck in 3 to 4 hrs of traffic jam.

The condition of their suite room was such pathetic I wonder how their normal rooms will be. I Will not suggest the place to anyone. There was no electric kettle in the room and after asking for the same a defective non functional kettle was given and a good one hour was wasted trying to get a functional kettle. TV was not operating. They gave 2 complimentary water bottles and after that each bottle of water that costs Rs. 20 was charged at Rs 100/-. Buffet was much below expectation, no variety, low quality and not tasty. There were no dental kits or proper toiletries in the toilet. Overall its not recommended.

We had a get together in last week of May at grand Shiva resort, Everything was very well arranged. To start the room swear clean and tidy, the housekeeping was courteous to help us whenever we required. We stayed there for four days the food was really tasty and it had lot of varieties for all four days. A special thanks to the GM Mr Afaq he went out of the way to help us whenever we required, even arranged to pack our breakfast as we had to start early. We had a wonderful time and we take back a lot of wonderful memories a big big thanks to Mr Afaq and his team at grand Shiva resort.

I had 3 days stay in The Grand shiva resort and spa with my family ..Amazing hotel with professional staff,Very polite, On time service . Rooms were well furnished clean and cottage were amazing .. Beautiful place

This is an overhype and overpriced property. The executive lounge is not maintained well with foul smell from the bathrooms. There were no towels or soap and 1 of the bathroom did not have water in the basins. The fans were making noises which were rectified by a "jugaad". The room service is pathetic as you have to ask for things repeatedly. They have built a huge property but not able to maintain it. They are clearly short of staff for peak season. The food is below average. The only good thing was a decent bar with nominal prices.

THE GRAND SHIVA offers all necessary & luxury services. Along with the amazing nature views from their room balcony and from the huge blue terrace, their service is so quick and fantastic. About the food, they serve all varieties of good quality food and its so delicious. They Offer spa and massage services which is so relaxing . one must try.. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay there

Organised my daughters wedding at Cygnet Grand Shiva Resort. The location and ambience turned all relatives and guests absolutely dumbstruck. The layout of the rooms, maintenance, cleanliness, food quality and warmth of the staff were par excellence. The positive and proactive attitude of management and staff was unprecedented. All the events went off extremely well. An ideal place for family get togethers/ functions.

"Fantastic New Year's Eve experience at Shiva Hotel! Our stay on the 31st night was absolutely memorable.
