My son and I stayed here and had a wonderful experience. We each had our own rooms, which were like private retreats. But our hosts Michel and Mario encouraged us to mingle with the other guests during the breakfast hour, which was fun and helpful. It turned out one guest was visiting the falls that day as well—she helped us translate and navigate the bus system, which we would never have been able to do alone. It’s in a great neighborhood with shops and restaurants, with a bit of a longer walk to the more touristy areas. And really—you owe it to yourself to stay just for the breakfasts! Made to order and so very delicious.

Mario & Michel were lovely, accommodating, extremely helpful, and great to talk to. The breakfast is just fantastic, and you get three options, which they've clearly perfected. A ton of fresh fruit every morning! The rooms were very clean, neat, and had lovely artwork in them, plus there is a fridge, microwave, and balcony terrace in a green garden. Not to mention - they might offer you a beer on the way in! Super stay, extremely close to Old Quebec (walking distance) and some fun bars on the corner. I can't say enough about our stay with Mario & Michel - absolutely go here if you want great food and enjoyable company. Thank you for everything!

Very good welcome- Mario and Michel are great, very available - you have to take the breakfast as it is a must- The bedroom was very nice with colors and painting from Michel - you can walk from the B&Bto the center of Quebec or prefer to eat closed from the B&B, very good restaurants recommended by our hosts.

Michel and Mario are the perfect hosts. The accommodations were tight, but clean and very sweet. The bed may not the most comfortable, but the breakfast were spectacular! The location was great, lots of walking. Michel mapped out a great walking tour for us with all the highlights and recommended eating spots. We will most definitely stay there again if fortunate enough to visit Quebec City in the future.

We only stayed 1 night but wish it could have been longer. For the price bracket this hotel was faultless, the owners were friendly, funny and helpful. If only other hotel owners could stay here and learn how to run a model hotel/ B and B!

My Wife and I arrived to this place after a long day of driving. Immidiatlly we were warmly welcomed by the hosts - Michelle and Mario (i hope i spelled it right). They gave us really good recommendation of where to go and what to do and where to eat, and where to get a good beer after a long day of driving. (As well as what tourist traps to avoid 🤣, help with reservation and good tips on places for beer - where the local people go). Following these advice, we did the "Classic Quebec" walk and had the best food around! But i can writing about the hosts for very long time - they are really great - but let's talk about the place itself. So, place itself is very clean. Located in a few minutes from EVERYTHING you need, and it has a really good vibe. Really recommend staying with these guys, can't get much better then this - nothing like personal approach.

Absolutely perfect stay and truly outstanding hospitality. Michel and Mario do everything possible to welcome you to their home and city. The breakfast they serve could and should win awards. The room was immaculate and so nicely and simply decorated. The location is great too. We hope to come back and see our new friends!

I had been in Quebec for five days over the road but on my return from a few days away they were booked up so Robert passed me on to Michele and Mario. What a great last night and morning in Quebec. I was very unwell and after a superb breakfast of pancakes strawberries and maple syrup and seconds I just relaxed on the beautiful terrace for the morning as I felt I had done all that I wanted to in Quebec, before Michele drove me to the bus station for the start of my homeward journey. Thank you so much for my last memory of Quebec Michele xx

We enjoyed our stay and felt completely cared for- totally agree with other reviewers who led us to this spot. Michel’s restaurant recommendations were perfect. As were his explanations of how best to see the town. We especially liked Cafe Lala. We were comfortable and well fed.
