What an amazing place. Great location, modern and clean accommodations and super friendly staff. Breakfast was just incredible. European style meats, cheeses and croissants ! If we visit again we will definitely stay at this hotel. Merci!
Very good hotel. Centrally located priced well. Very clean and staff was very helpful. Breakfast was included it was good . Parking was near at a reasonable price. You could walk to all areas and restaurants in the area were good and reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel.
Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband. location is outstanding……staff exceptional….cannot do enough to keep guests happy. Room was veery clean and comfortable. Breakfast was an added bonus as was parking. Would recommend and will return to Quebec City. Words do not say enough for our complete joy having stayed at this hotel.
Le Prori is on the lower level of Old Quebec. We enjoy staying in this area because of restaurants, it quaintness and it is very quiet. The hotel far surpassed what we explected. Our room, though small, was absolutely the cutest and very clean. There are little cubby holes and plenty of room for everything. Every little nook and cranny is used. We were not cramped at all. It is super quiet. If we did not see people at breakfast, I would think we were alone in the hotel! The staff is what truly makes this hotel stand out! Our welcome, our daily inquiries were all met with such enthusiasm. I had inquired about a recipe for a tasty bite they had at breakfast. By the end of the day, a peasant personal note and recipe was at our door. Speaking of breakfast....That was truly a wonderful part of our stay at Prori. I high recomend a stay at Le Prioi.…
One of the loveliest hotels we've stayed in - where the rooms were comfy, and very lovely. Lots of room in the rooms and relaxing. We had a view of the water from our window - and could see the cruise ship. Location was amazing and close to everything. Was so surprised by the breakfast - was a hot breakfast with pastries etc. Staff was awesome - and always so friendly when we walked in after touring all day - or as we left in the morning. The atmosphere of the hotel just made our stay in Quebec City just that much more enjoyable. Lots of restaurants near by, close to shops and the water. totally recommend
My partner and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary in Quebec City and stayed at Hôtel Le Priori and enjoyed our stay. It’s perfectly central in the Old City there are things to do in every directIon you walk. We stayed in the Newtone Suite, the sole room on the second floor. Very spacious and the fireplace was a lovely touch to wind down after the bath. The only thing I would say is to run the bath on a cleaning cycle beforehand or have housekeeping double check it, we only realized once in the bath that there was soap scum from the jets. I would stay again so long as that was paid attention to.
Front desk staff were always helpful and kind - they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We stayed in a junior suite, and the room was gorgeous, lots of amenities and great lighting. Room was clean and bathroom was spotless. Nice modern room, but with old-time charm. Breakfast buffet was also good, always the same staples, but definitely something for everyone. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
We were hoping for a great getaway spot and were not disappointed. Only spending a couple of days in town to watch our son play volleyball before heading on to St. John's, our visit started off with a great bonus when we arrived at noon from our early flight and were able to check-in - we were expecting just to leave our luggage, but lucked out! The hotel is perfectly situated in Old Quebec, perfect for walking and strolling anywhere nearby - no need to rent a car if you decide to fly in. While the spring weather was what you would expect in March, this must be an absolutely gorgeous spot in summer. The room was perfect for the two of us, clean and well laid out, comfortable bed and had no problem with the claw-foot tub in the bedroom! Mini-fridge in the room was all we needed - coffee or tea downstairs anytime you want a fresh cup. The boxed breakfast was super - even had a gluten-free option ready for us as requested, and the choice of having it in your room or downstairs was thoughtful. Stephanie at the front desk was awesome with our requests, quickly arranging a last minute taxi when we had to head out to the game and arranging an early morning pickup to head to the airport. Polite, professional staff. You can't go wrong reserving a room here when it's time to get out and explore Quebec City!…
Great hotel, very nicely located with easy access to all the local shops and restaurants. We chose it because it had high ratings and not only did it not disappoint but it was above expectations. Just one example is that though it advertises a continental breakfast, what is given is well above a simple coffee and pastry. From our arrival to our departure, we were pleasantly surprised and thoroughly satisfied with our choice to stay there and hope to return.
We enjoyed our two nights here. Great staff. Good location. Nice decor blending old and new. Not a huge fan of the sink not being separated from the rest of the room but that is ok. I believe we had a basic room with a courtyard view. Easy walk from the train station. Will stay here again.
