Also my kids are 12 however they were charged adult price for breakfast without my knowledge. It took quite a bit effort to have it corrected. Make sure you carefully examine your check!!!
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Quebec City. The hotel enjoys a central and prominent location that is just a few steps from the doorstep of Old Quebec, a hop/skip from the parliament building, the great restaurants along Le Grand Allee, as well as the plains of Abraham. The hotel itself is newly renovated as the lobby and common areas are very nicely done and modern, while the rooms are also very nicely renovated and comfortable. So all in all in terms of the hard product its probably one of the nicer Hilton flag hotels in the Canada/US market. Our check in experience was very pleasant. There's a separate line for Hilton gold/diamond members, as well as a main line that had a short queue when we arrived. The agent was friendly and courteous and took her time to explain the ins and outs of the property to us, and made sure our initial impression of the hotel was a very positive one. We got a high floor room with a fabulous river view and of old quebec. The room was bright and airy and well equipped including a Nespresso machine with some complimentary pods that were also refilled when we had the room made up. The king bed was fresh and comfortable, and sheets/pillows were of good quality. I guess if we had to pick one thing out to critique it's that the rooms are a tad on the smaller side. But at the end of the day does 50 to 75 Sq ft really make that big a difference, when we have such a great view to fall back on? Service levels at the hotel were solid. Our calls to front desk were answered quickly, and requests were acted on quickly as well. The concierge was pleasant and gave us some nice restaurant suggestions for the area. The staff at the hotel restaurant were pleasant as well, and we enjoyed the good quality breakfast that was offered each morning as part of our elite benefit. The hotel was quite busy during our time there, and I'd gather it's also one of the biggest in the area in terms of number of rooms. I'd certainly say it's the place to stay for anyone visiting Old Quebec, and we'd definitely return again the next time we visit. Kudos to the Hilton Quebec team for a professional and smoothly run hospitality operation, particularly during these challenging times of Covid. …
Nice hotel very well situated near old Quebec for tourist visit. Rooms good size and well appointed. Checking in staff helpful but concierge service poor not able to recommend restaurant in local area. Car park is bit awkward to find as way around back of hotel and is pretty tight but ok once in. There is a decent grab & go service for food but no restaurant apart from breakfast. We had breakfast once which was $35 CAD + tax but choice was a bit limited to be honest. What we had was nice enough and well served etc. If in the area I would consider the hotel again.
I wanted to show my son the city was born in, and it was truly beautiful. The Hilton did not disappoint, it is very central and easy to find. The only issue for were the pool way to early 6:00 pm and the restaurant closed after breakfast. It would of been nice to have dinner at the hotel, or even later evening eats. I had asked twice for a firmer pillow and told it would be sent up. But unfortunately never cam, disappointing but not a deal breaker. Overall great service and the rooms are amazing and quite!
Hilton hotel in Quebec City is a beautiful, newly-refurbished hotel, with an excellent location next to the parliament. However, due to staff shortage, the rooms are not cleaned daily. You have to request the room to be cleaned a day before. The restaurant too is not open as they don’t have kitchen staff.
This is not the best Hilton we have ever stayed, but best location and views. Our Parliament view room was small but well organized with plenty of storage space to make our room feel spacious. Walking distance to major attractions and restaurants. All staffs worked hard to run this hotel to ensure comfort stay. There was a conference that whole Hilton sold out at our stay. However, you barely heard any noise and feel crowed any where in the hotel. FYI, our room was at 19 floor. If we will visit Quebec again, this will be our pick again.
it was very nice hotel in great Location with beautiful lobby and restaurant .it walkable to Old Quebec and most attractions . It has beautiful outside swimming pool but we didn't use it , Room was clean with renovated shower that I like it very much. They are lots of great restaurant near by hotel. We enjoy every second in Old Quebec and Quebec City and Hilton was one the best .
It was perfect. The room was wonderful and what's about this magnificient view. The room was clean. The bed was like sleeping in the clouds. The installations were extremely clean. This Stay was more than perfect : the paradise!
Employees are on strike so no service, no food. No notice at the reception on the possibility of obtaining the 2 night discount for 1 from Quebec City. So they want your money but they don't give you anything in return.
Love Quebec City so this was a nice break for us to enjoy my birthday. This Hilton is close to the gates into the Old City and was a nice walk from the VIA rail station. The views from the hotel are spectacular. Even with the ongoing hotel strike we were only affected by the lack of a hotel restaurant. We’ve stayed at this hotel on several occasions and highly recommend it.
