The hotel is situated on top of a hill. We travelled on the VIA rail from Montreal and did not know that Quebec was so hilly. The hotel is about 600 meters from the station. However, the climb up the hill with suitcases is not recommended. The taxi fare from the hotel was $7 CA. Worth it. The reception is situated after negotiating a further two sets of stairs, there is no lift. The rooms are excellent, very clean and the beds are comfortable. There is no maid service at the moment, however, you can request towels extra and they will be brought up. The swimming pool is very small, there is a small sauna. The hotel is centrally located and great access to the restaurants and shops. The staff were polite and helpful. The showers mechanism is fiddly to get the right temperature, but adequate. There is a fridge, coffee machine and a safe in the room. The hotel supplies plenty of towels. On the whole I would recommend this hotel and stay again.

The hotel itself is fine. The room was OK. Our major issue was with the valet parking, and trying to depart the hotel. When we checked out we advised the front desk that we would like our car from valet parking. The person at the front desk assured us our car would be available soon. After 45 minutes of waiting for our car and watching the valet go back-and-forth numerous times ignoring us. We finally stopped the valet and asked him where our car was. The valet had no idea he was supposed to get our car. We then inquired at the front desk what happened, and the front desk manager shrugged his shoulders and said “sometimes mistakes are made, it is to be expected”. That was it, no apology, no nothing. The apathy from the front desk personnel was palpable. Unbelievable behavior from staff at a hotel that considers itself to be of such a high standard.

Arrived in Quebec City by train and it was only a 7 minute walk but... you need to be fit to push luggage up the large hill. Got to the hotel hot and bothered only to find a flight of steps up to reception , they badly need a lift. That said everything else was excellent, the lovely man on reception, the room where we were lucky enough to get a small balcony, so nice to lie on the bed and listen to the music in the bars . It didn t go on late so didn t disturb us but in any case you could just shut the door and if deadened any street noise. The swimming pool was good, not very deep but well maintained with a life guard on duty.

Booked a superior room for the week-end based on images and size indicated on the hotel website. Upon check-in, we were dispapointed to find that our room was not as advertized and spoke to Nicolas at the front desk about it. To our surprise, he told us that with such a small difference in price between a standard room and a superior room, we shouldn’t expect very much more than we have. He offered to relocate us to another identical room or have us pay for a bigger one. We just wanted what we thought we had paid for and our disapointment was completely ignored. His irritation and expeditive attitude made me feel as though his polite and profesional demeanor was reserved for higher paying clients. We told him to forget, but felt totally unappreciated as clients. Later on, another front desk worker named Bernard asked us if all was good. We decided to mention what happened. Within a minute, he had us set up in another larger room and made sure we were completely satisfied. His concern, great smile and friendly attitude made us want to come back to this hotel. This was not the case after our interacion with Nicolas. Front desk workers don’t always realize that their attitude can make the difference between a client retuning to the hotel or never coming back. Bernard, you were the best, such good service is definately mentioned and remembered. Perhaps you can show Nicolas a few pointers.

Nice looking hotel. Comfortable hotel room. Great location in Old Quebec, meaning we could walk to many areas including Chateau Frontenac, and quartier Petit Champlain. Manoir Victoria staff was friendly and food at le Boulay restaurant was great.

Comfortable, convenient hotel in Old Quebec City. A short walk to all the interesting places in this beautiful area. Reception and Bell staff friendly and welcoming. Don't expect a quaint, Quebecois atmosphere here. Hotel has a modern look inside. Had a spacious Grand Luxe room with two queens and a nice bathroom. Room had a fridge and iron, but no microwave. Beds were comfortable. Windows didn't open. Overlooked pretty Rue Saint-Jean, which can be a little busy and noisy at times. Other rooms have limited views, but are probably quieter. The hallways are long and dark, partly because of the layout of the building. When you enter the hotel, there is a big staircase to climb, but Bell staff will be happy to help you. There is a small pool and a gym in the basement, but the pool was only open on weekends because of Covid. Old Quebec is truly beautiful, but be aware that when I was there in March, there was still a lot of snow and ice everywhere, and that makes walking on the hilly streets difficult at times. Bring your snow boots (with good treads)! I got a great price on the hotel website for a four-night stay. I recommend this hotel. Had a good dinner across from the hotel at Les Freres de la Cote.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was in the perfect location to the area we were visiting. The staff was great and everything was super clean and tidy. There is no entry elevator so be prepared to tote your luggage up stairs to the lobby.

Only good things to say about this hotel. The staff is attentive and personable, the rooms are clean and spacious and the restaurant adjacent to the hotel is probably the best in town. We had a room with 2 double beds and it was perfect for our 2 kids and us a couple

We visited here after leaving another hotel which we were not pleased with. This was a great find. So close to downtown and we were able to walk to the Marché de Noël allemand de Québec easily. Lots of great little shops and, Cafe and restaurants within walking distance. We had a double queen room that was large and comfortable. The heated indoor pool was nice as well. There is a quaint Cafe attached to the Hotel but we missed it. Looked like it carried some cheese, breads, etc.

Amazing property in the heart of where you want to be. Everything was within walking distance; close to many shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is clean, it feels new and fresh; if feels high end from the linens to the rooms, even the check in desk. The staff are so friendly and helpful with anything you need, they genuinely what to help you rather than it feeling like an obligation as part of their job. We paid for parking at the hotel which was nice because parking around there seems complicated (definitely worth the $30 a night) and the service to get the car was quick. The are stairs to get into the hotel and the front desk (a lot of steep steps) and they had asked us if we wanted help with our bags when we first arrived which was nice and to help bring them down to the car when we left (again very quick service and polite). The pool was great too, easy to book ahead and no one to compete with. The room was large and comfortable, lots of extra space. Would definitely stay again, it was a great experience!
