It is our first hotel stay after the pandemic. Hotels are so expensive in Quebec City specially near Old Quebec, so we opted for this hotel. 3 days before the arrival I called the hotel and spoke to Mario that I be given a room in the newer building with wood floors (no carpet) because I have severe asthma. He took note of my request. On the day of arrival, I called to request for early check-in at 2pm and Narin at front desk was so nice and so courteous, she is an excellent customer service person. She accommodated our request and upon check in I was told that Melanie personally handled the cleaning of the room. And yes indeed the room was perfectly clean. Thank you so much Melanie. We had a restful night and amazing stay. The kids enjoyed the pool and the hot breakfast buffet was excellent. Thank you Quality Inn staff. We willl make sure to stay with you again next visit because your location is short drive to all the places we wanna go.…
We had booked a room down the street from this motel but had to leave due to the filth and smell. We lost $170 and had to pay for this room so it was an expensive night. But, it was truly worth it because this room was fantastic. We wished we had an excuse to stay another night. Newly renovated, spotless, friendly service and a very, very good breakfast - what more could you ask for? Do yourself a favour and read my review on the other place (to avoid it) and then book a room here.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Quebec City as it is only a 15 minute drive the Quebec City Centre, but very clean and modern as it has been fully renovated. Also nobody was using the gym was very neat and clean for Covid19 conditions. Only downfall was the indoor pool was cold as it did indicated heated pool but was very cold when we visited. We booked the pool but did not end up using it as too cold. Loved the breakfast buffet which is a good feature. Would recommend this for families and also note that it has been fully renovated and now open vs Google Maps indicating Temporarily closed for renovations.
found on Booking. Fantastic location with lots close by. Room in the hotel section was large and very clean. This place is very well maintained and staff are very friendly. Restaurants and gas stations and a bar are all within +/-250m of here. Definitely well worth the money, very comfy and accessible.
I travel frequently for work and had to book a last minute visit to quebec city. Due to it being high season, very slim pickings so I opted for a $200 rate per nite at the Bonaparte. A big mistake especially when the check in clerk mentioned that better at the hotel then the motel... I walked into the most dingy, dirty and uninviting corridors and then room. It was so outdated and uninviting. The web didn't feature pictures anything the likes of what I was walking into. Due to my exhaustion from my travels and lack of availability in town, I had no choice but to stay. The next morning I asked for a blowdryer and none was provided. There was no kleenex or glass for me to take a drink of water and the whole experience was horrible. I highly recommend that you never ever consider this as an option. I actually asked the owner to credit my visa as he should be paying me to have stayed. The hotel/motel was booked and I get it, price counts but at what risk? I was terrified to stay alone as a single traveling professional woman and would highly NOT recommend this hotel to anyone as it is completely disgusting.…
After a near record winter snowfall, I was a bit disappointed at the amount of ice in the driveway and parking lot. The room was adequate with fresh towels and toiletries, daily. Room décor could do with a makeover.
The room was clean and quite quiet. The Resto-Bar has very good food. We stayed here on August 24th, and again on the 31st on the way back to Ottawa. The Cajun chicken sandwich was so good that I had it both nights. Breakfast was very good also.
This is a motel, rather than a hotel as such so do not expect too much. Location is nearer towards the industrial side of town so it would nit be too convenient if your interest is downtown Old Quebec city. Facilities need some refurbishment.
Not a good experience, restaraunt closed early 830 pm and did not reopen till 0930am- so much for breakfast included, There were very little restaraunts within 5 block area.Would not recommend, and will not stay again
We stopped here for two nights in June. The hotel was clean and the room was a good size with TV, fridge and microwave. The bathroom had a tub and shower. The hotel is out of Quebec City and requires two bus rides to the centre (no. 80 - $3.50). It is in a bit of an industrial area on the edge of housing and it felt safe. The decor felt a bit tired but it was OK. It would have been good to try the dining but we kept on missing this. Nearby is a McDonald's, subway and a couple of gas stations if you arrive out of hours. Although it was OK and the lady behind the reception (in the photograph) was helpful we would not stay here again but pay to be nearer the centre of Quebec.
