My room was excellent and the bed and pillows perfect. I laid in bed, fell asleep quickly to wake up seven hours later. It was the best three nights I experienced in years. The hotel Le Concorde staff is very helpful and courteous.

HORRIBLE!!! This is probably the most dirty and discussing hotel we have ever stayed in. The sheets were stained with blood and so were the walls. We went down to the lobby to ask for a change of room but the other room we were sent to was just as discussing. The maids do not clean the rooms properly! There was about an inch of dust on the furniture, mirrors, headboards, and behind the beds had dead bugs, hair, dust bunnies. The chair and lamps were stained with yellow and white residues. We had to change our own sheets with new clean ones at 1:30am as no maid was available to help. Furthermore they put us in the room next to the maid quarters where the washing machine is and as of 7am we were woken up by constant banging of the door as the maids were in and out for cleaning. We went to our booking agent to ask for a refund for at least one of the two nights we stayed there and the hotel refused. It cost us $500 for 2-nights, the hotel could of at least offered some type of compensation for the horrible stay! NEVER stay here

Apart from the incredible location, the comfort was horrible. I mean it. The rooms are old (ok, no carpet and the room was clean, thanks for that but windows and air conditioning noisy) and the noise outside the rooms was ridiculous. People making noise, dogs whining for hours at night and a concierge whistling in the morning! If at least service was able to do something about it… No service, at all, so it’s a no-go for me or my family for a very long foreseeable future. Wasted money in there but more importantly did not enjoy the stay at all.

Bedbugs infested. 12 bites in the first night. Reception agreeded to change the room after too much claim, even showing the results of the bites. If you intend to stay in this place, put all your luggage into the bathroom and inspect the matress carefully, using the light of your cell phone, befor unpacking. Save the evidence in a ziplock bag and go to the reception. Save your eventual medical bills.

This hotel is in an ideal position for restaurants and bars and also to the Plains of Abraham. On that basis alone, we would be happy to recommend it. The hotel itself, in certain areas, looked a little tired. Our room, in particular, was in need of refurbishment (room 1409). It was mostly corridor as it wrapped around the lifts, although we didn't hear any noise from the lifts themselves! We did, however, enjoy our stay in Quebec and the hotel provided us with the location and an acceptable standard during our stay.

For the price I thought it was going to be a luxury hotel, but holidays inn hotel are more luxirious than those rooms. No light in the shower and it's dirty, empty kleneex box, stains everywhere. Will not stay here again!

Travelling on a tour we checked into this hotel . Our room was shabby , poorly maintained . The air conditioner sounded like a tractor so couldn’t have it on when in the room PLUS it leaked water under my suitcase. No teabags in the room , when I asked for some the response was no teabags available , yet at breakfast there was a large quantity and variety to choose from . Treated like second class citizens because we were part of a tour group. The hot breakfast was in-edible, luckily the fruit and yoghurt passed inspection and the white bread / toast was a safe choice. I would not stay here again. SDtaff were rude and off hand.

we stayed one night waiting for a flight and ate at the Ciel! Bistro-Bar on the top. The bed was really soft and comfortable the room spacious, clean and quiet. The restaurant on top was spectacular. There were cabs waiting at 6am when we left for the airport.

On the outside, the hotel is ugly, like something from Soviet-era Russia. That didn’t worry me though because I’ve been to hotels before that were ugly on the outside but nice on the inside. Unfortunately, this wasn’t one of them. The ugliness of the hotel was more than skin deep; the ugliness went to its very core. My room furniture was a strange mixture. Some aspects seemed quite modern, including bedside wireless charger pads for mobile phones, while other items were the most scratched, dented, bashed items of furniture I have ever seen in a hotel room. Most of it looked like it had been rescued from a dumpster. The occasional table had floor pads attached to its side; clearly it had been repurposed without being cleaned up. The laminate floor was also damaged. Still incongruously, some of the walls seemed to have been recently redecorated. My bathroom ceiling was held up by wedges of polystyrene, making it look like a job that was part way through being done. Bathroom fittings were rusty and mildewed. I think it possible that my room was part way through being renovated but had been pressed back into service in a makeshift way to accommodate a member of a tour group. I can't believe any hotel would rent out a room in such a state. The hotel seemed to have only four elevators, which is not many for a hotel this big. The wait for an elevator can be very long. This is one of several bad hotels I endured on the same tour arranged by the Jonview tour company via the TUI holiday firm. The company clearly emphasises the cheapness of hotels over their quality. I recommend you avoid Jonview and TUI as well as this hotel.
