Completely new in the past year, the theme is exquisitely and tastefully light pink – – think rose gold and pink champagne. A bold move – – and even as a dude, I really think it works. We loved it. And the Suite 820 to which they upgraded us is probably the nicest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Living room with its own TV, separate TV for the bedroom. Full automation of lights from a removable bedside tablet, which also has all the hotel information on it down to the room service menu and surrounding attractions. The bathroom suite was positively fantastic: a luxuriously large shower stall (I’m 6’3”) with glass on both sides— One on the bathroom side, the other on the living room side, but hazed out in pink so it was translucent, not transparent— exquisite, with gold hardware. The combination overhead rainforest showerhead, and wall-mounted handheld. Smart variable lighting in the shower stall, and built into the multipanel mirror that could be angled to see your sides, above the sink. Separate full vanity. Extremely comfortable bed. Dinette with chairs… You really could entertain another couple or two in this suite. We canceled our plans to go out to breakfast and explore a little the last morning, in order to just stay in our suite with champagne and enjoy it. Commodore restaurant and bar areas were gorgeous. The fifth floor Muze Lounge is stunning, with very nice menu, and an outdoor terrace! The pool and hot tub are on the 15th floor with long city views – – I wish I had spent two more days at this place to take in more of it. Offstreet driveway, so it was easy to initially park and check in and get parking instructions, which is really nice for a downtown hotel. Underground parking was easy & accessible, and easy to leave. This is a stunning upscale boldly designed city hotel with a ton of promise. I would go back here in a heartbeat.

Wow what an incredible experience! This hotel had the most excellent service I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and I wish we stayed longer. Our room was perfect (had everything we needed), and it was gorgeous and spacious, and quiet. The decor throughout the hotel was stunning. The location was absolutely perfect… we walked everywhere in the city and right next to the subway station. Would definitely recommend!

More than just a place to stay, it was part of the enjoyment of our weekend away in Montreal for our daughters' 18th birthday. We really enjoyed the sauna, pool and hot tub, the beautiful lobby for pictures...but my absolute favourite was the comfortable bed and pillows. It's been a week and Im still thinking of how comfortable that bed was. I have written to the hotel to ask what kind of pillows they use (no response yet so if management reads this please let me know) because I would like to buy some for home. The room with two queens was perfect for the three of us. Our friends asked for a corner room and it bigger (for no extra charge), both rooms were nice. If you are looking for a great coffee spot in walking distance, highly recommend Cafe Olimpico Centreville on Robert Bourassa, it was the perfect place to sneak off to in the mornings for an americano while my family still slept (the in room nespresso was great too).

My wife and I chose to stay at this hotel for 8th anniversary expecting a nice and seamless stay. We were not helped with our bags when we arrived. When we arrived the rooms were dusty and table and night tables not cleaned. I was coughing and sneezing all night due to the dust. There were stains on the walls. The second day we were there our room was not cleaned and housekeeping arrived at 5:30pm which was very late… usually housekeeping is from 8:00am - 3:00pm. We asked the front desk at 12pm if we can have our room cleaned since they did not clean our room on our second day. When we got back to our room it was not cleaned. We asked the front desk and housekeeping again and they did not clean our room however they left clean towels… and left the old towels on the floor and the room untouched. We went back to the front desk and our room and housekeeping did a sloppy job of fixing the bed and did not refill the shower gel nor provided us with hand soap or other toiletries. We had to wash our hands with shampoo. We then had to call the front desk to request these items. This was our third time requesting this. For a hotel charging $350/night I would expect exceptional service and the rooms to be cleaned daily without us having to request it. I would not recommend to stay at this place. The room service is very slow when requesting food. At this point I would recommend staying somewhere else as the operations team isn't strong. Lastly, we were overcharged at the snack bar and asked for an adjustment in our bill. The front desk claimed they would adjust the bill but we have seen a new bill yet!

Influenced by vintage Art Deco design and positioned in Downtown Montreal in the lively Quartier des Spectacles venue, is the Honeyrose Hotel. It is a stones-throw from the Montreal Convention Center, Notre Dame Basilica and other must-see Montreal attractions. My Suite hoovered on the spacious side with living/ dining areas complete with sofa and a strong working desk that taken as an ensemble promoted a homey atmosphere. The Art Deco theme continued into the decor and lots of high-tech room appliances graced the environment. The bath was equipped with heated floors and a rainforest shower. The Commodore is a split personality restaurant. One part is an all day eatery in a French bistro format where I enjoyed French Onion Soup and couldn't get enough of the Meat Pie. The other part is a Cafe providing grab-n-go options like pastries, coffee and sandwiches for guests and locals. The Muze Lounge & Terrasse on the 5th floor sports a California styled menu, drinks with edible flowers and a DJ spinning music on occasion. The 15th floor is the wellness plateau. It is all glass allowing views of the cityscape. The space is occupied by an indoor pool. sauna & hot tub and cool outdoor loungers. So, if your looking for a hotel hub to ground your city adventures in the cultural epicenter of Montreal...........then try the ...........Honeyrose Hotel.........a haven for French Canadian experiences.

Found hotel through searches on TripAdvisor and Google Maps. Took a chance booking our 4 night Montreal getaway from NYC on a newly opened hotel. The reviews were great, as was the hotel location. And I vibed with the hotel decor from the photos I saw during my research. So we went for it. And we were happy with our stay. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hotel’s friendly and courteous front desk staff. They were so helpful throughout our stay. Our king bed suite with city view was fantastic. Really cool room layout and decor. Bed was super comfortable. Nice touch with the bench at the foot of the bed. And the floor length curtains by the windows and separating the bedroom from bathroom were room darkening and so easy to open and close. We most loved how the tv swiveled around from living room to bedroom allowing us to watch tv in different room settings. Very cool concept. Shower was fun and funky enclosed in a pink ombré cube and visible within the room We enjoyed use of the gym, indoor pool, hot tub and sauna on 15th floor. The views were spectacular. Areas to improve….but to me, not worth a deduction: - Poor lighting in living room and bedroom. No option to independently turn on/off bedside lamps or lighting in the foyer. It was all or nothing. And although there was a full length mirror in the foyer, the lighting wasn’t great. - Bathroom mirror was fantastic but the lighting was horrible. - Sofa hard. Could have been less “IKEA” and more plush and cozy. A blanket would have been nice touch too for snuggling. - When the door of the room safe located on the top shelf inside the closet was open, it kept banging into and scraping the inside closet door.

One of the prettiest hotels we’ve stayed at! Loved the modern decor and the new high-tech features like the bathroom mirror with tons of lighting settings and the. The room was spacious, quiet, and very clean. The front desk was friendly. Parking was easy and secure and just around the corner from the hotel entrance. Make sure you check-in first before parking because you need your card to open the garage door. Very convenient for walking to Old Montreal and Chinatown. We had a view of the street but couldn’t hear a thing and slept very well. Wish we could have stayed longer!
