The staff was outstanding. The service beyond reproach. The room was immaculate, well-appointed and quiet. Easy access to downtown Montreal. Just a great place to stay. It is apparently a dog-friendly hotel, so be ready. There were dogs everywhere. The dogs were doing what dogs...More

I'm glad you were able to find everything you were looking for at the Hotel Omni Mont-Royal. Thank you for reviewing our hotel and I hope you return again soon.
Our daughter reserved this hotel for three nights for a surprise birthday trip for her mother and me. Both the manager and the concierge were very helpful during our stay. We were upgraded to a mini suite.
We stayed here to be near our extended family, who had taken a suite. The rooms were good-sized and clean. The staff were very accommodating. Great location in downtown Montreal. I would definitely stay here again.
Overall I cannot say I was particularly impressed, it felt slightly dated making me desiring more of the room. However, I do believe it was a lovely place .
On a side note, night time food could do with some improvement. The food was below...More

Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young
professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
