My friends took me to Toronto for an appointment at St. Michaels Hospital for an appointment and we booked at the Pantage, it's great for location being just across the street basically from the hospital so I had little distance to walk. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is very comfortable and roomy, we booked a room with the kitchenette which is great with a full size fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. We didn't need all these amenities, however, they are nice to have. The beds are comfortable and the room is a nice size. The only problem I have is the restaurant, food is good but expensive for their serving sizes, my friend referred to their dinner as a Michelinas frozen dinner size, tasty but very small portion, more like a child's portion. I will still continue to book at Pantages as their hotel is great, I just will eat at another establishment. …
Visited here recently, group of 4- a booking of 2 double bedrooms. The rooms are massive and you have a beautiful view of the city. The bathrooms really big which comes with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. You can request a cleaner otherwise they leave you alone- they tell you this upon check in. WiFi is good connection throughout the whole trip. This is free. The gym is good sized, plenty of weights and enough other equipment such as the treadmill and cross trainer. The location was amazing, right around the corner from a food court with 100’s of options. Also right around the corner from City hall which has ice skating in the winter. The hotel is just surrounded by many shops, pubs, restaurants, cinema etc etc. I would stay here again and would recommend!
We booked this hotel at a good price considering it is in downtown and a four star. The rooms (we booked two) were really spacious and the beds were massive. Had a nice view of some of the city from the room aswell. Housekeeping was upon request, which didn’t bother us as we don’t think it’s necessary for someone to come in and make the bed daily anyway, although one evening we went to ask and no one was at reception so we waited until the next day and the shampoo/body wash wasn’t refilled either. The location is very good, close to subway stops and the shopping centre, would stay again. Didn’t use the hotel restaurant so can’t comment on it
Stayed here for a pre-Christmas break. Lovely clean, quiet, extremely well located hotel in downtown Toronto. We had a huge room on the 12th floor which was super clean, serviced every day and very quiet. Bed was massive and very comfortable. Nice bar on ground floor with happy hour 5- 6 every day. Very centrally located near to everything - we walked everywhere and most places no more than 30 mins away. Union Station is about 20 mins walk. Would definitely recommend and return.
Staff were extremely accomodating, allowed us early access to our room to sleep after a 16 hour flight layover and extended luggage holding at the other end of our stay. Great location, a short walk to all of the things we had booked and wanted to see. Room was lovely and had all of the amenities that we required. We stayed for 4 nights and wished it was longer! Only negative was no onsite parking, and local parking was extremely expensive.
A suite on the 16th floor was fabulous with a great view of the city of Toronto. The restaurant was excellent and Scott who was the waiter as well as the bartender was very attentive. Keep up the great service! I highly recommend this hotel and eatery.
It is very centralized hotel, very friendly staff, very clean and most importantly, our bed was really comfortable. Staff went over and above to make sure we were happy and comfortable. We didn’t have much of a view though.
Super-friendly check-in agent, upgraded our room for free on the spot. Room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Great location. Overall, a perfect place to stay for our 2 nights in Toronto. ……………………………………………………………………………………..
We stayed in a King Suite which meant we had separate living area (kitchenette and couch) and bedroom. It was a large corner suite, so when we opened the curtains we had plenty of light. The bed was incredibly comfortable during our stay. If you want to use the kitchen, you will have to request whatever items you need (glasses, cutlery, etc.) however, we did not request these. Also, you will have to request if you want the room serviced or new towels. The hotel is located a street away from one of the entrances to the Eaton Centre on Yonge St., and a few minutes walk from Dundas Square. It was very handy to be so close to the metrolink and we were only about 10/15 minute walk from Union station too. St Michael's hospital is on the same street as the hotel, and we did hear some ambulance sirens and helicopters during our stay, but it was no more noise than one would normally hear in a busy city. We were on the 11th floor so didn't hear any street level noise. We didn't visit the hotel bar/restaurant, but did use the drinks machine a few times when we needed water. There is a Circle K convenience store around the corner on Yonge St. There is a good diner on the same block called Fran's where we went for brunch a few times. There is also a Starbucks directly across the street, and a Tim Horton's a few minutes away. In terms of restaurants and bars, there are plenty great spots within walking distance. We felt safe walking home later in the night. The hotel reception staff were very warm and friendly upon check-in and also when we needed to book Taxis. We were very happy with our choice of location and comfort and cleanliness of the hotel during our stay, and when we visit Toronto again we will be happy to stay here again!…
We booked this for the theatre district location and the price was a deal closer. Excellent staff service, beyond expectations, beautifully decorated, modern minimalist and super clean room. Would definitely return.
