This is our go-to hotel in the Moncton area. Kids love it. The only reason I’m giving it 4 star this time is because they have Rogers cable and the cable was down for quite a long time. Hard with teens. Rogers is notorious for outages (at least in Atlantic Canada), and no hotel should rely on them exclusively for service. That being said, the staff and lodgings were wonderful. Special should out to the lady looking after the breakfast. We were there March 11 / 12, 2023. She was an absolute delight. Food was always hot and stocked, and she has great knowledge of the local area. She kept us and the kids well looked after during our times in the dining area. A true asset. Rooms were clean and made up each day. Poor area was busy as it was March Break, but kept clean and towels were stocked. Appreciate the management and employees of this hotel so much. Keep up the great work! We will be back again!!…
The pool area is too small and the water slide end is too short our kids were getting injuried. When booked as a group as a hockey team we were all separated on all different floors and when asked to have a room for us all to gather to eat and for the kids to be together the manager would not accommodate at all and was very rude ! Will never book here again as it was a terrible experience for us all
When you book a block of rooms for a hockey team they separate you all over the hotel and then harass you every 30 minutes when the team congregates in one area claiming that guests are complaining of the noise. Yet they were not willing to provide a space or conference room for the team to avoid them being too loud elsewhere. Do NOT book a team stay at this hotel if you want your children to be able to enjoy themselves!!!
Great place for a quick visit. Pool and waterslide are fun and the breakfast was perfect for complimentary. Modern bathroom with fancy shower were a plus. Staff were super friendly and helpful with insightful suggestions about the area. Close to the airport is nice and will definitely will be back.
This hotel was very quiet, the beds were comfortable and the pillows actually had some substance.my only negative was that it was a cold draft around the HVAC unit under the window. Breakfast was typical, nothing outstanding. Coffee and tea were recognizable brands though. Quick and efficient at the front desk.
Terrible property, poorly managed, rude front desk staff. Worst Fairfield Inn ever. We made a reservation, guaranteed by credit card, and received a written confirmation. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told by the front desk staff that there were no rooms. IMO both front desk employees were very rude. There are no rooms, bye. They refused to give any evidence that we'd showed up so we wouldn't get billed for Fairfield's overbooking. I needed to spend a lot of time with the Marriott reservation number so that it would be documented on my reservation that I wasn't a no show. Rude front staff. No offer to find another room, nothing to say that they were sorry, changing story about when all rooms were sold. Worst Fairfield ever. Avoid.
Comfortable stay at this hotel. Front desk staff are wonderful. As are the staff who take care of breakfast Hotel is well situated a few minutes away from the airport and right off the highway The amenities in the room and the hotel (pool) are very nice Only con is that housekeeping is very infrequent
I’d say this was a pretty standard experience for a Fairfield Marriott. I like the brand because they are pretty consistent, usually pretty new, and always a good value. This one checks those boxes. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was good and the room was clean. At check in around dinner time there seemed to be only one staff member and she was busy with people checking in, phone ringing, guests waiting for pool towels, etc. but she got the job done and was polite. The next morning there again seemed to be one main staff member at the desk with a lot going on, but she was very good. The breakfast is included like all Fairfields and the breakfast area is huge, so crowding is not an issue. The selection is adequate. Sausage, scrambled eggs and omelettes were available as well as the waffle makers and several grab and go items. Staff was attentive in breakfast area. One thing I wish they would do is serve some sort of breakfast potato (home fries or hashbrown). The location of the hotel is right off the highway and very close to the airport, so it’s convenient for travellers but there aren’t many restaurants or walkable areas nearby. This hotel is meant for quick overnights on road trips or for using the airport.…
Lovely hotel. Close to main highway. Lots of restaurants and gas stations short drivem great staff. Clean quiet and comfy beds. Pool. Breakfast. Large suits. Very family orientated. Lovely breakfast typical of mariotts. Definitely be back
The property is in the industrial area of Moncton so it’s not for tourists but as an overnight stay while traveling it’s good. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. One thing I found was it was past time to change out the shower curtain liner. It was beginning to show soap residue and a light hint of mildew.
