We expected a roadside hotel, but instead found this gem in a terrific location in the city of Moncton, easy walking distance to a variety of good restaurants and bars. Breakfast was included with our room, our compliments to the breakfast staff who kept every station stocked and clean. While our room was spacious, it had definitely seen some wear and tear, especially in the living area. Biggest complaint was the noise from young teens running up and down the hallway at 3am. Nothing was done about this nuisance. Kudos to Wayne at the front desk for his excellent knowledge and recommendations for area eateries and sites.
Great location. Best clinic, restaurants, everything traveler could need, is within 5 minutes. Front desk staff is exceptional, informative and helpful; they even computed and had available exact change for laundry on 2nd floor! Frayed furniture, tired sheets, exhausted housekeeping staff.
My family had a flood in our home and we had to find a place to accommodate 2 adults, 2 kids and a small dog !! needless to say this was a stressful time for us. When I called the hotel I spoke with the manager May lee that automatically took charge of dealing with communicating with our assurance company. She booked us a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen. When we came in to check in the front desk was very helpful and kind. The staff working in the breakfast room, we're so efficient making sure every station was filled and tables were promptly cleaned. For me what really stood out was how friendly and joyful they all were. We were always greeted with a big smile and a warm hello. This was consistent from the cleaning ladies, to front desk clerks and kitchen staff. The pool was kept clean and towels full. All and all It was amazing to have all these friendly faces , it made our stay feel like home.…
Stayed for 3 days to be close to attractions. Good size room and mini kitchen, however strong musty smell, hurt our lungs and looks like room has never been fully cleaned. Hair balls in bathroom, curtains stained and dust on every surface, ewww.
We recently stayed here on the way back from a vacation to NS. We chose it due to the good reviews and because it was fairly close to Hopewell Rocks where we were going the next day. We had a two bedroom suite and the room itself was lovely. Very clean and great layout. Super comfy beds. Good location close to lots of restaurants and things to do. However, I found the service to be lacking which is surprising given the previous good reviews. I’m not sure if the front desk person was having a bad day or perhaps was not experienced in speaking to customers, but he was quite rude. We arrived well past check in time with a bunch of tired kids to be informed that our room was not ready. Instead of being immediately apologetic (which would have made everything fine), he offered a vague list of excuses as to why it was not ready in a rude tone and implied that we were lucky to even get a room because of how busy it was. Only when he heard me complaining about the rudeness to my husband did he change the way was speaking and all of a sudden a room was available when he had previously stated it would be at least a half hour for one. There were also no clean towels available at the pool and a huge stack of damp, dirty ones sitting there. I rarely if ever even have, let alone write, complaints for places. But for $400 a night, I at least expect to not be spoken to rudely.…
Great location downtown Moncton with quick access to the Mall, Bass Pro and the highways. Stayed here for day trips to Parlee Beach and Hopewell Rocks. Clean rooms and quiet. Staff very helpful with recommendations for free parking. Had a suite and appreciated the extra space. Pull out couch more suited for one person/child not 2 but hotel provided a cot when asked.
Our 2 bedroom suite was well appointed and the beds were super comfortable although the room could use a fresh coat of paint and a little TLC, but it was very clean. Shower curtain did not have a liner so water leaked everywhere. Breakfast was awesome, hot and cold, lots of options. We stayed till they were closing and that didn't go well with one of the staff members who promptly came over and put a huge garbage pail in front of our table and signaled us to empty our table and leave. That was rude. However, the rest of the stay was good so I won't let one rude person ruin the stay.
We were in this hotel for one night on June 25th. This hotel is modern and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Wayne. He showed us how to get to different point of interests and helped us to mark on the map. He even led us to the street and showed us how to get to the gas stations and McD. He is very helpful and tried his best to accommodate our needs. This hotel situates at a very convenient location in downtown Moncton. It is next to the tidal observation deck which is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel and is close to all the beautiful art murals. And their breakfast is very good.
Convenient location, spacious room, very helpful staff, good breakfast. We brought along several bicycles for our trip and the staff was very helpful to ensure security for the bicycles. Although the breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast, everything was very clean. The pastry was freshly baked on premise. The breakfast room staff was very helpful. So overall, the breakfast experience is much better than those from similar hotels. Overall, this hotel is a better value than hotels in a similar price range.
Have not stayed in years and was delighted that the hotel had been tastefully renovated. Rooms have a great new look and colour scheme, but the fridge has seen better days. Front desk staff were friendly and the central location is great. Only downside is only one entrance is open (unsure as to why the Main Street entrance is still closed) was a pain in the rain getting soaked trying to get to the car park entrance. Breakfast is your typical Residence inn breakfast and the Gym and pool have just what you need.
