This updated old fashioned motel with rooms off a lush garden is well-located. Most places were a 10-15 minute walk, or a quick bus ride. Front desk was very helpful, and free bikes were available for those more athletic than me.

We stayed at the Burrard for four nights. The rooms were modern and funky and close to the actions of Davies street (gayberhood). If you're looking for a well priced hotel in a central location then this is your hotel!

Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy

social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.

Room Tips
"Most or all rooms face inner coutyard and the passage is a bit noisy. Noise insulation in rooms not ideal."
