We stayed in the 3 bed spacious apartment, they waited up for us to arrive on the ferry which we appreciated and even showed us to the room, opened the door and switched on a few lights. There was tea, coffee and whitener in the kitchen. Mis matched mugs and cheap dinner service let the really nice kitchen down. There were a few long hairs in the bathroom (ugh) but otherwise the place was really clean. The beds are comfy, shower pressure abit poor , but we’d stay here again.
I stayed at this dump while I was working in Prince Rupert. The staff was lazy and rude and the owners were absolutely unreasonable. My rent was even increased illegally during Covid-19 and there was always an excuse as to why they couldn't get my room cleaned on the designated day. I had people try to break into my apartment regularly in the middle of the night, my car tires were slashed while using their "secure" parking, and the outside doors never locked properly. This is an extremely unsafe place for a family or a single woman to stay. I absolutely do not recommend even taking the chance here. The furniture was old, worn out and stained, the bed was absolutely worn out, the place stinks like mold and the laundry facilities were filthy as well.
Spacious flats (our had 4 rooms and 4 bathrooms), a large dining room with kitchen, perfect for two families. The owner is very friendly and nice and speaks a dozen languages. Not exactly in the center of the town (assuming that Prince Rupert) is a town and has a center), but a very happy choice for us
My partner and I stayed in building 3 of Black Rooster guesthouse and were extremely impressed. The room was spotless, large, and comfortable. Four private queen rooms each have their own bathroom, but also all had access to a communal kitchen and living room downstairs for those four rooms. This makes it an even better option than a standard hotel room - you can cook, lounge, or just stay in your private room. I was very impressed with my stay! Forget the Crest!
Have stayed here on a few occasions. This is the final visit. I booked an apartment for 6.....only 2 could share a bed. There was some contradiction on the website as to exactly how many this 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom apt slept but somewhere between 8-10. Only 4 beds & no pull out couch but an extra mattress in one room. The mattress smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. I went to the front desk for some sheets for the mattress. Was told I had to pay another $20 for sheets for the mattress. After spending $500 on the room already I said no. Fortunately had a thermarest and sleeping bag in the truck. The other person slept on the couch. Customer service a 0.
