Under renovations. The foyer is a mess with construction materials. Our room was newly renovated with hardwood floors, which then we heard every patter of different footsteps from the floor above to 230 am Only one bedside lamp making reading a challenge for one of us. Plug in bathroom didn't work and therefore no hairdryer and no plug to use my own...which I did use in the room...but no mirror outside the bathroom. Shower dispenser had no conditioner. To top it off...other guests on the floor were loud and continued to party until 330 am.
Nice location beautiful views. Reno is coming along and has really updated the facility. Restaurant has new chef and food is fantastic. Severs are so friendly. the new owners are working hard at revitalizing this hotel and you can see the effort put forth.
The hotel was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. There was bug catchers on either corner of the room. Some weird stains on the night shades. The vents were half falling off. Carpet was dirty and would not want to take your shoes off. We checked in for just a night sleep then continue our drive it wasn’t worth the stay I was afraid of the cleanliness of the place. We stayed at the Crest hotel which was a 100% better. Please don’t get scammed into staying into this place.
Pictures are deceiving. This place is old, run down and has not been taken care of (except for the elevator which was updated). Water that came out brown. The floor in our room had a lot of debris and stains, there were noodles or something in between the bed and the side table. We wanted to sanitize the place ourselves but we were afraid of touching anything. The people working there were friendly. While it is not a place I’d recommend, if you have to, at least it’s a roof over your head for the night. For vacation, it’s not all that enjoyable — we couldn’t wait to leave and dreaded coming back.
My first review ever! We dropped our luggage off in the room to go explore. Came back to our balcony door open, luggage open and gone through (nothing stolen). I Phone down and put through to manager. In 6 years he’d never had a problem. The power washers had been there since July accessing rooms without issue- (no one told us about random access to our room). He’d look into it. I go for a walk - manager is in the open lobby discussing it. The room itself was filthy. Moldy bath mat, bathroom had a continuous nasty smelldirty floors , corners had years off dirt, previous occupants garbage, stained and damaged lamps etc. When we checked out I offered to show pictures as the room needed a proper inspection and clean. The clerk said sorry she’s let housekeeping know. I said this wasn’t a simple miss but years of dirt. Sorry we are at full capacity - it’s the only room left. Elevator literally had signs up about being unable to do anything about the smell of garbage from the basement. Avoid this place!…
The staff was great, very accommodating. This hotel is in need of a lot of TLC. I believe they are trying to bring it back to what it probably once was. The view was nice but if you can find another nicer hotel for same money I’d suggest you stay elsewhere.
There is one girl who works the front desk who is incredibly unfriendly and rude, I dread checking in because I know I will have to interact with her (I have to stay here due to work) She will glare at you as you walk by, and give you a blank stare when you are checking out.
Hotel is sketchy...dated, dirty, mouse traps, noisy, smelled like marijuana, had to ask balcony next door to quiet down and stop smoking. Front desk gentlemen was friendly but that was the only good thing about this hotel.
I sleep in room No. 712. Heating is not working at all. Room is completely dirty and damaged. Somebody before my visit probably vomit on the floor and its still dirty. Thermometer for ajusting the temperature in room its broken. Please see pictures below. Internet is really slow.Food is disaster. Only good point is stuff in this hotel, they were realy nice.
I love my stay here sure it’s a bit dated but it is the best hotel in Rupert for the price and the staff is so helpful and friendly. I stay here so often that the front desk remember my name. Threw me off at first but I love it makes me feel more at home.
