If you're going to do the Ha Giang Loop, definitely stay and book through HG Hostels (not the same as Ha Giang Hostel) and Motorbikes and the owner Teddy. His and his family's hospitality and kindness are unmatched. I took a spill during the Loop and when I returned, Teddy's father would tend to the wounds and change my bandages every day (wasn't super serious of an injury but still required care). His mother makes breakfast and offers free tea and coffee at any time of the day. When I needed to know exactly how the trip was going to unfold, Teddy was always there to help. He also arranged for a room at a nearby hotel when his hostel was fully booked, and accommodated my request of transport back to Hanoi. Wow, what an experience. From the check-in to the check-out it has been perfect. The staff from the hostel does everything in their might to make sure you feel at home and to give you everything you need. We could leave our bags at the hostel when we went on our trip. Our tourguide was Hanh. He was the best and made this trip even more unforgettable. With his contagious laughter (his name in English means ‘happy’!) and never-ending wisdom about Ha Giang your trip will be one the best. A lot of karaoke, happy water and Mot, Hai, Ba, Dzo (1, 2, 3, cheers!)

I found the owners of the hostel to be very accommodating. Even though we were travelling without the tour they still gave us the itinerary so that we could follow the tour and be social during the evenings. They also were able to book our bus back from ha giang on the day with no trouble. There were no problems with the bikes at all and even though I slightly damaged my bike they took it back without a charge.

Amazing!! The guides were fun and informative and really made the trip. Cannot recommend Dustin and Tuan enough. They went above and beyond for us. I was self driving but had a heavy pack so the easy rider kindly took it for me to make the trip easier. If you're doing the Ha Giang Loop book here!!

The trip was amazing and my easyrider was an excellent and safe driver. We’ve been to the most amazing views and spots and the guides gave us as much time as we wanted. Even when we want to go to a place which was not in the itinerary we could just ask and they drove us there.

I would highly recommend booking directly with these guys for the Ha Giang Loop. Sociable group size without being too big and very enthusiastic guides! They will take care of everything for you including buses to and from Hanoi so that you can enjoy your time on the loop and not have to stress about details.

Very enjoyable tour with lots of stops and opportunities to take photos of the stunning views. All the drivers were very friendly and were always joking and messing around with us, especially in the evenings after some happy water. 10/10 experience.

We came from the neighbor after I tested three motorcycles there, which were all defective. Our Honda XR 150 was brand new and we enjoyed it a lot. We were served very friendly. Finally we got two good motorcycle helmets on loan. I can only recommend HG Hostel & Motorbikes!
