Catalonia Riviera Maya All-inclusive Resort, Puerto Aventuras

Hi, we are booked to come to you at the end of May 2020 and wondered if the renovation works will affect us, or even better would all rooms have been updated by then ? Or if only the premier rooms are being updated - how much more to upgrade to one? Not privaliged , just premier. Many thanks in advance :)

Dear Vikki, thank you for contacting us. Until now, we do not have any news about renovation project on May. The upgrade from Garden View to Premium is 15USD per person per night, you will have the same benefits as Garden View room but a renovated room. If you fancy the Privileged category and its benefits, then, the fee would be 20USD per person per night. What I recommend is, first, receive the original room you booked, give it a try for one night, see how it looks and if you do not like or feel comfy there, you can ask to upgrade and even, see the rooms before the purchase, so, you will be sure what you will get! Hi I’m a bit worried about the state of the bathrooms in the hotel! See so many reviews saying the really really need upgraded . We arrive here in September

We had no problem with the bathroom toilet worked fine shower brilliant plenty of light

We are thinking of coming in March 2020 and have a few questions. We are planning to book either the Privileged Superior or Suite room, does this include Premium liquors/beer (eg. Crown Royal) or only Local spirits and liquors. Are the Privileged Suites located all on the first floor.

I am not sure which floor those Rooms are on, are standard one was on the 4th floor as we had requested an upper floor. as mentioned nothing at all wrong with those. Priv Rooms do have the better drink and a Mini Bar (the standard doesnt have the Mini Bar but to be quite honest I always tipped the guys at the bar about $20 every few days among two and they always gave me the better drink anyway, super place. Bon voyage.....
