We had the best time ending each night at the 360 Bar. Fernando, Valeria and Ivan were so attentive and friendly! They made us feel like we were the only people at the bar! Fernando made each of us exclusive cocktails based on what we like to drink. He is a skilled bar tender. We really enjoyed our time at Garza Blanca and this bar was a bonus! Oh I forgot to mention the beautiful sounds of the flutist or violinist each night.

I booked the trip though Costco travel which included Non-stop airfare, transportation to / from the airport via shared vehicle, and the all inclusive resort package. Airfare was great, no issues flying to Mexico. They do not require a COVID test prior to travel. Shared transportation was good, the bus was new and the driver was friendly. Hotel check in: We arrived to the hotel at 2pm and waited in line for check in for 30 minutes. My reservation was for a junior suite with an ocean view, and one king size bed. During check in they informed me that I had booked for 3 people in the room which was not correct, only 2 which I showed them on my reservation. The clerk confirmed that my reservation was for a single bed and then told us that we would have to wait until 4pm when actual check in was to take place despite the fact that the room was ready now. I returned at 4pm and again waited in line for 30 min. Once I got to my room I found it had two queen beds. I return back to the front desk, and again waited 30 minutes to speak to somebody. I told them that I had booked a room with a single bed and the one that was assigned had two beds. It was at this time that they told me that room reservations are not guaranteed at their hotel. They told me that they did not have any single bedrooms available and that if I wanted one I would have to return the following day between 7 AM and 4 PM to get a bed. After speaking to the manager for 45 minutes he told me that I could speak to him the next morning for the bed. While I was speaking to the manager every person checking in was complaining about the same issue. When I had initially checked in I noticed that every single person at that point was also arguing with a manager regarding the room assignments. This should’ve been a red flag for me immediately. The next day I returned at 2 PM and spoke to the same manager I had the day prior regarding wanting a single room bed. I spoke to him for nearly an hour where he told me that it wasn’t him that I had spoken to even though it was. He looked and told me that there were no king bedrooms available and that the only king bedroom that he would have did not have a view and it would be a view of a parking lot. I told him that my room reservation was for a single room and I had stayed in a room with two beds. He told me that the rooms are not guaranteed and that I would be stuck in the room I had. I argued and demanded some sort of compensation due to the fact that I had booked 4 months prior to my trip. After arguing he eventually offered $300 in resort credit for massages. Which I took. The bottom line is that the customer service at this hotel that I experienced is horrible and after speaking to several other people at the hotel we all felt the same. Be very wary about your room reservations prior to arriving. You may not get what you think you booked. When I was checking out of the hotel they attempted to charge me an additional $3000 US for a third person staying in my room. I told them that I only had two people staying in my room and why were they charging me for third. They told me that I had made reservations for a third person however I again had to confirm this with them and show that my reservation was only for two people. Regarding the restaurants at the location. The food is three stars at most. The portion sizes are very very small so make sure when you order your meals you order extra. The bartenders are very helpful and nice. Everybody other than the front desk staff is extremely nice and welcoming. The resort is immaculate and the pools are very clean. Unfortunately the water in the ocean is so rough it is not usable and they actually have signs that indicate not to swim in the ocean. Several families had their children at the pools and with nine pools to choose from it wasn’t an issue. There are not a lot of chairs out by the pools so make sure you get there early in the day to save yourself a seat. There is a rooftop pool which is adults only however they do not have very many chairs for laying out at this pool either. Remember you have to get a Covid test prior to fly back to the United States. This Hass to be done 72 hours prior to you returning.

My girlfriend and I came here for our 1 year anniversary of dating and had a wonderful time. The food was good, the service was PHENOMENAL (huge shout out to Jose at the front who did everything to make sure our stay went flawlessly, and Francisco at the rooftop pool was a 5 star waiter), and the resort was beautiful. I would recommend to a friend to stay here!

We had an awesome time at Garza Blanca! The entire staff was always very attentive, and outgoing I would like to give a special thank you to the following people who made our experience just absolutely unforgettable! -Nohemi our amazing Hostess, She went out of her way to ensure we were always enjoying the stay, and if we ever needed something that we got it in a timely manner. Not to mention she was able to obtain our Covid-19 test results pretty quickly so we could present them at the airport before our flight back home. -Dusty our waiter at Blanca Blue, was absolutely awesome!! He made our dinner experience one of a kind, and I can’t thank him enough. Not to mention he has exceptional taste in food! -Ana Paola the front desk attendant at Blanca Blue was so welcoming!! She helped get us into a table very quickly with little to no wait time, and was always ensuring our waiters were taking care of us! Overall the entire experience at Garza Blanca Los Cabos was outstanding, We were treated like royalty as we came with my aunt and uncle since they were Elite members with the hotel chain (Jose and Edna Alvarado), I am fortunate enough to have stayed here and will be returning soon! -Hendrik De Bruijn
