Super charming, beachfront, very clean rooms, and above all, friendly staff!

We have stayed at Buena Vida before and love it's central location, and it has been interesting watching them add rooms to the complex. The location is great for beach access and lounging.

Great place for relaxing. We had a room that opened to the ocean view. There were many seating options at this small and cozy inn. We were made to feel at home. I highly recommend this place if you are interested in beach time &...More
This little hotel has excellent location and wonderful views. It's right in the middle of Zipolite beach, so you can walk to the main street, Playa del Amor or El Alquimista easily. The room I stayed at (H4) was a sea view suite, really small...More

Mookie, as Adrian says, not sure if all rooms have safes, but ours did and it fit our iPad, camera, and all other valuables with room to spare. I guess it would depend on the size of your laptop too. One thing I will praise this hotel for is their security. We left money on our side tables and our wallets (by accident) and everything was left untouched. In fact the room cleaner, Rosada didn't take the tip we left her (on the pillow)! If you have a room on the ground floor on the beach, I wouldn't be so flippant as to leave anything out on your deck as people can and do walk up from the beach and you just don't want to give anyone an opportunity. The staff do their best to guard all the guests but all eyes can't be everywhere.
