We returned the 3rd time to this nice hotel in playa. Beach service (thanks to Osu, Viktor, Ivan, Miguel) and rooms are very nice. Compared to others this hotel is a little smaller and intimate. Lots of nature around. We will definitely come back

Amazing and relaxing Stay
My wife and I went for 5 days on a 15 year anniversary trip. Our stay was so amazing and relaxing! The property is beautiful and well-maintained. The staff is very friendly and ready to help make your stay incredible at every opportunity. The rooms are HUGE and very private. I think we were there when the hotel was at half-capacity, but it was very quiet and calm while we were there. Only 128 rooms there so definitely quiet and relaxing. There was always a place to sit at the restaurants, by the pool or on the beach. The food was top-notch with a different theme every night at Aguamarina restaurant overlooking the beach. Ambar is more upscale and Ceviche was just open for breakfast and lunch. At first I was worried that there were only a few restaurants, but it was enough and the food was excellent with plenty of selection. The presentation and taste were 5-star quality. Although the portions were small, it was all-inclusive so you could order more if you wanted. The spa was so nice and relaxing. We had a couples' massage and it was so relaxing I literally fell asleep during the treatment! The gym was nice and had plenty of weights and machines. It wasn't busy at all when I went during various times in the morning. It felt very nice that a lot of the staff knew and addressed us by name. In fact, we felt the level of service was better because of that. We had an excursion pick us up from the hotel and made a mistake on the time. They called the restaurant to see if anybody had seen us. We were still in our room getting ready. But that level of personal service was characteristic of our stay there. Wonderful place to relax
Spent 2 days here before starting our tour around Mexico. A perfect spot to relax. Rooms are super quiet and loved having bikes to cycle to the beach. As the resort is spread out it feels very quiet which was perfect for us, lovely pool and beach area. This is our 2nd visit and it won’t be our last.

Couple retreat
We had a great time, food was excellent, room was very nice with the 2 walls of glass, and we had peacocks and coatis at our walk out deck every day. beach and pool was very relaxing,loved the plush cushions. and loved the bike or golf cart option if you didn't want to walk the resort. very lush green surroundings and very private. Negatives: sporadic hot water and very little pressure. and we found the beds hard. on a positive note the staff is amazing! we were touched at the hands on the heart gesture when they pass a guest.

Excellent staff, excellent rooms, excellent facility
This was my 2nd stay and I will definitely return. The staff are all focused on the visitors' experience and providing any support needed. I can't describe how thoroughly the staff extend themselves to providing the guest a wonderful stay. The rooms are comfortable and well-supplied. The spa is beyond wonderful. Definitely recommend this resort.

Is the beach walkable for long distances. What is the dress code at the restaurants?
To the north you can comfortably walk only for about a mile, I believe the beach gets rocky with sporadic walking areas after that. To the south, we have walked for quite a while, and I believe you can walk almost all the way to Playa del Carmen if you want.

Can anyone tell me about laundry service at this hotel? I see from some sites they say that "self service" laundry is available? I prefer to do my own laundry if available. It it's not, could someone give me an idea of what it cost to have the hotel do your laundry? Thanks!

Hi. I think it is only the beach rooms at the very front but you can ask the staff when you are down there and if there is one free you can use it. To be honest there are loads of comfortable sun beds there under the coconut trees and with shades. You are literally on the most beautiful beach and the beds at the front are the best xx have a lovely time if you go there. It is gorgeous
