Me and my friends stayed there for a couple of days and we really enjoyed it! The place is beautiful, it look like they are renewing the rooms and adding a plus to your stay! The staff is awesome! All young and enthusiastic people! They make us feel at home always! Also location is perfect, just in the center of cancun with a lot of restaurants and bars around! Best place :)
I just came from Mama's home in Tulum which is more laid back and not "boutique" style such as this one. I wasn't expecting the Hilton but at least the bare minimum of a more upscale hostel. After checking in and putting our belongings in our room we headed to the restaurant/bar for our "welcome drink". They were out of the drink (no big deal) so we ordered 2 empanadas and 2 mixed drinks. The drinks were great and came out quickly. We were the only couple in the bar besides 1 other customer. Our waiter never checked on us after serving our drinks. After waiting an hour for a refill and our food, we walked over to the waiter who was chatting at the bar. We asked to just cancel the food and get the check but he said they would be out in a couple minutes. He obviously forgot to put the order in since he punched it in the system shortly after. He gave us our check and took off one of the drinks. Back at our room we noticed the toilet was running and tried to fix it (We hadn't used it yet). While this was happening.. the waiter knocked on our room and said he made a mistake and needed to charge us for the other drink. (Mind boggled that he would even come to our room I just gave him the money.). I spoke with the front who "upgraded" us to another room since they couldn't fix the toilet. Besides the increase in sq. footage, this room was even worst. The AC sounded like a broken helicopter so it was either sleep in heat or try to sleep with the noise. Our neighbors even laughed at the situation and said that sound was terrible and they could even hear it next door. The TV also didn't work (which was fine since we didn't really care). I didn't want to complain again so we slept with all the windows open. Another mistake since there was a fight at 3am outside our window near the pool. Someone broke a beer bottle on someones head and each night we had to listen to the drunk guys rehash the story to every passing person. Overall, yes it looks pretty but the experience was not.…
Great hostel in Cancun with a nice chillout/restaurant/bar area. Also thanks to Daniel who organized the party night and invited us to play flip cup! Stayed at a private room which had a comfortable size. Had a great stay.
We had a fantastic time staying at Mezcal hostel all of the staff were super friendly and loads of fun. The rooms were very clean and bar/restaurant area had a cool jungle vibe. Cinthia in particular made our stay even more enjoyable
Great hostel, with load of areas to relax. Extremely clean. Perfect location, only 5 min walk from ado station. Closed to mercado 23 and 28, and parque de palapas. Very nice staff. Theres a really big supermarket nearby, i recomend it to buy any traditional sweets at only a fraction of the price than the ones in mercado 28.
