We had an AMAZING trip to Live Aqua- Andres at the pool is the very best server EVER!!!! He made every single day so wonderful! We have traveled the world and he is by far the BEST!!! Andrea, Rossy and Jesus also went above and beyond Wonderful service, incredible food, SUPER clean, very safe protocols in place, we cannot WAIT to get back!!
I came here last year to celebrate my 40th birthday and it was simply so SO GOOD, I came back for my birthday again this year & plan to make it a yearly tradition. Live Aqua turned me into a CANCUN fan where before I’d prefer to travel only to hawaii. The service & friendliness of the staff...can NOT be beat. From DANIEL who runs the pool house / cabanas making you feel like a #VIP, to ANDRES serving drinks / food - you literally can see his smile thru his mask...he becomes your instant #bff, to chef WILLIAM at the restaurant MB who made a special menu just for my birthday for our party - i can’t thank you enough. I’ve never been somewhere where they actually, genuinely make it their goal to make your stay flawless. If you ask for it, they make it happen. I didn’t even mention the morning buffet smoothie station, excellent room service, nightly turn down service with essential oils, the perfectly heated pools, gorgeous views, and the SPA! …
Live Aqua has great clean rooms, wonderful staff, and the bar and menus options were fantastic. Truly can't say enough kind words about the staff, very welcoming and very likely had the best customer service out of any resort I've ever been to. Very relaxing and a perfect getaway. Needless to say we have already booked another trip in a few months.
This was our 1st time to Live Aqua and 4th All-Inclusive in the Cancun area (Grand Velas, Generations & Beloved). We kept comparing our stay to Beloved, which we believe was the closest in expense/experience. We loved Live Aqua except for the size of the complex, but we knew that when booking. Live Aqua gets kudos for great heated pools, excellent wine list (upcharge) and amazing food. We stayed in an Ocean view room. You could see the ocean lying in bed or in the bathroom brushing your teeth. Plus, you were protected from the wind while enjoying your balcony as the room was on an angle. We immediately made friends with Daniel by the pool and he made sure that we had 2 lounge chairs by the pool waiting for us every day of our stay. A lot of the drinks were pre-made and had too much sugar or syrups for us so we started asking for skinny with a particular alcohol and they would make it for us. If we thought the drink was too “weak” we’d ask for a float or extra shot. Every meal was phenomenal. We can’t come up with a single complaint. The Breakfast Buffet in Siete was great and we are not usually big on buffets. They are taking Covid seriously with individually wrapping single servings. The Grill at lunch by the pool was our go-to! The Chicken is out of this world, along with the ribs. We found if you wanted something they didn’t have (Chips & Guac), you’d order first from the pool attendant and then go to the BBQ Grill for the rest of your meal. We had dinners at MB, Hidden Garden & room service. All amazing & again loved being able to order (and pay for) wines not offered in the all-inclusive plan. There are some cuts of steak included; we had Filet at MB & Flank Steak (room service, but it’s also on the Siete Dinner Menu). We found the menus to be varied enough to not order upgrades. The resort is expansive but we found that you could find your “quiet” spot, which we prefer. We did not go to the “Party Pool/Swim up bar”. Our ONLY complaint is that they didn’t enforce the “NO PERSONAL MUSIC SPEAKERS” around the pool/beach area. This should be one of the agreements signed at check in and there should be an enforced zero tolerance policy. Covid test onsite for returning to the US was free & scheduled on arrival day. Took 30 minutes away from our vacation, no problem & thanks for this free service. We asked for a late check out as we had a 3:30pm flight; no problem. We used the plastic bags the towels came in to put our wet swimsuits in to travel home. It was a bonus to get 4 hours at the pool/beach before flying back to snow. Will return & recommend to others.…
My spouse and I had a great time at Live Aqua. We were hesitant due to covid but we felt that LA did a superb job to make us feel safe. Very clean resort, good food and service. We flew Delta and also felt they were taking measures to keep us safe. Was told it was at 60% capacity and had no trouble waiting at restaurants. Cabanas must be reserved 24hrs in advance and if you get there at 8am you can have any one you choose. Rental is only one day at a time, but keeps it fair to all. We didn't feel that an upgrade to the Aqua Club was necessary but talked to others that were glad they did it.
