We had a wonderful experience at the Auma restaurant. Even though there was a mistake with our reservation, they seated us quickly regardless. Marco and Mishell were our servers and we couldn’t have been more taken care of. They were very attentive and the food was delicious. They made for a very special girls night for us.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at the Hilton Cancun. The doors and drinks were good. The best service was by Mateo at the Vela buffet. He was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us drink recommendations. We were celebrating two birthdays and he made sure the make them special with birthday cakes. Thank you Mateo!

If you like brown water showers and sinks, this is your place. Front desk was dismissive and said “it’s not really dirty,” it’s the wind (day 1), the generator (day2); then it’s fixed… no, it actually isn’t. I keep getting punked and they said there no other room in same category as mine. I just need to feel clean. My friends in other rooms are not having this issue but Hilton is not making this right. Food is mid. Alcohol selections low to mid quality. Little to no beach. The room, itself, is pretty nice. Most waitstaff are very nice but some seem overwhelmed. I would not come back

We booked a high floor one 1 king bedroom and one 2 queen bedroom all-inclusive vacation package from Dec 24th-Dec 29th at Hilton, Cancun. There were multiple issues during our stay: 1. After arrival, we found out that our rooms were booked on the 5th and 3rd floor. We were told that due to peak season this is all they had available. We waited in the lobby for many hours and then we were offered a SINGLE vacation suite with king bed and sofa and were told that kids can either sleep on sofa or they can offer ONE rollaway bed in the same suite. We refused to switch to one suite since we paid for two rooms for five of us. After more than 4 hours of wait, we were offered 2 rooms on the 5th floor. Staff and Manager were very rude during this whole incident and not willing to help. This wasted an entire day. 2. This was NOT an all-inclusive vacation since MULTIPLE restaurants were charging extra for meals. Christmas night dinner was an extra charge as well. Most of the times, we ended up using buffet only. Buffett food was same for breakfast, lunch, and dinner EVERY SINGLE DAY. 3. Pool chairs were unavailable on almost all the days. To book a cabana by the pool, they were asking to pay extra $140 per day. Pool handrails were loose and none of the hot tubs were working during our entire stay. 4. We brought these issues up with the Hilton management and they offered us no resolution whatsoever. 5. BYD picked us up 4 hours early to get us to the airport for our flight back from Cancun. BYD rep at the HILTON was rude. I requested to change the pickup time via text on Dec 24th. They never responded to the text but kept on texting us with different experience packages that we were not interested in. A day before our departure from Cancun, I went and personally talked to the BYD rep, and he said I should have told that beforehand, and that they cannot make any changes to the reservation 24 hours before. He said, " I do not have time to talk to you all day. I cannot help you guys." We have been to multiple resorts including MOON PALACE, DREAMS PLAYA MUJERES AND GRAND FIESTA AMERICANA CORAL BEACH IN CANCUN and this has been the worst experience WITH ACCOMODATION, FOOD AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We had an excellent week long trip at the Hilton. I recommend this resort for young families. I would not recommend this for adults only trips or older teenagers as the resort was overrun by young children and the splashing etc would get annoying if you didn't have a young kid yourself. The kids club was excellent (open 8-10 for those under 4yo with family but for kid drop off it was open 10-1, 2:30-5 and 6:30-? each day). They played games and did playground time. You can also go there to "check out" sand toys for the beach. Bring ID for the first day of drop off for your kiddo or you'll have to go back to the room to get it. The two pools were lovely and well occupied on our trip. We do not usually use chairs so we did not have to worry about waking up early to get one. The splash pad is larger than it looks in the pictures. We eat gluten free and found that we could manage pretty well by using the signs in the buffet and the marked menus at the restaurants. The waiters and supervisors were excellent if we needed help in both the sit down and buffet restaurants. Leonardo at the Vela Buffet was fantastic. He helped my allergy kiddo get safe food each day and treated her like a princess. By the end of the trip we refused to sit anywhere other than in his area because his service was so good.

Morning yoga with Susana was amazing! What a beautiful way to start the day! Susana is a wonderful instructor and a sweet soul. She had planned to lead the class outdoors, but it was a bit windy. Indoors was still a great way to start another amazing day in Mexico!!

My wife and I stayed there from April 4th thru April 8th. Was a last minute decision to book quick get away weekend. The buffet has the same food every other day alternating. The service was terrible as the wait time for water or drinks usually took long enough that you were almost done with your meal by the time you received your drink. The best advice I can give you is that the moment you get checked in and receive your wrist band---run to make reservations for the Mexican, Steak or Italian restaurants. We did that and we were told that despite our best efforts--they were already all booked at the Mexican. The steakhouse was the probably the best. Now, if you're ever interested in going down to the hotel district or Playa Del Carman for an excursion to Cozumel---be ready to get your credit card out cuz you're going to need it. Any trip by taxi to hotel district will cost you $130.00 round trip + 5% add on for credit card and 20% tip is what they expect. We knew this was a family friendly hotel but we never imagined that at midnight and 1 AM children would be running everywhere around the bar. Check-in is at 3PM so if you arrive at 11am plan on sitting around and waiting in the lobby or eating at buffet for 3 hours. One night the power went out completely on 5 separate occasions. Complete blackout. Overall experience----3 stars at best. We would not go back. Book with caution and review all trip advisor reviews.

Hilton is a good place to stay and eat and swim. Great ocean view. Beach area is kind of small though. Dropped the kids at kids club which has lots of fun activities for kiddos and I joined the cardio dance class with Susanna. It was fun and enjoyable!

My experience at the Hilton All Inclusive Cancun left much to be desired. From the moment I arrived, I found a used tissue in my room, which was quite unpleasant. During my stay, I also noticed loose screws in the children's pool area, which raises serious safety concerns, especially for the little ones. What disappointed me the most was the lack of service culture among the staff. I experienced long waits to be served and for dishes to be cleared from the table, and sometimes they remained there for hours. Some waiters, like Daphne, provided excellent service, but others left much to be desired. The quality of service seems to depend on who serves you, which is unacceptable in a hotel of this caliber. Furthermore, the minibar was never restocked during my stay, and room cleanliness left much to be desired. The trash was not regularly changed, cups were left dirty, and overall it didn't feel like a clean stay. Despite these issues, I must highlight the children's show, which was the only standout feature of my stay. The hotel has the potential to be wonderful, with its games, restaurants, and excellent facilities, but poor management and lack of attention to detail make it difficult to recommend. I have no intention of staying here again in the future.
