Attention Budget Minded Travelers!! Looking for a cheap, clean, and modern hotel with friendly staff, great hospitality, and a price that fits your wallet? Then the Canopy Hilton Cancun La Isla is your place. But, remember, don't book direct with the hotel at $220 per night. I would call that foolish and you got ripped off. It is not the Marriott or the Ritz Carlton. They say, "You get what you pay for and $75 to $100 per night is this properties top dollar to collect from a Tourist. Anything paid more, is flat out dumb and you have low standards for the money. I call it how I see it and I have stayed at a lot of places here in Cancun. Would I stay here again at $75 per night? Hell yes!! Would I pay $220 per night? Hell no!! Look at a third party website and compare this Hotel to booking direct!! That is the one negative about this property. Oh, wait, here is another.... Fire the restaurant that currently leasing their space and is catering to your Guests. The food is terrible and the absolute worst pizza in my entire life!! Can you say, "Cardboard with cheese and pepperoni? This can be upgraded and the company that is leasing this service from Hilton should be sent down the road kicking rocks!! I would have given you 5 stars if it was not for the room service. Everything else, for $75 per night, was fantastic. The Highlight about the property is the great service the Hotel Employees provides to their Guests. In saying all that, would I stay here again? Improve the room service and that would be an immediate yes. But, for $75 per night in Cancun, who can complain. Only those that arrive late, are hungry, and seeking some decent food before calling it a night!! The Hilton brand should be ashamed of this and immediately speak to the Owner/Group that leases the Hilton name!! This is not the Hilton Standard and this property could be more profitable with all the little things they can be making money on from the Guests who are already there. I was there 5 days and only ordered room service once. This is not the name of the game owners, who lease the Hilton name!! Improve this immediately or you get what you deserve in less profits than you could be making when you have the Guests already in your house!! Letting them walk to the fantastic La Isla Mall to eat is just plain dumb when you could be making more by them eating at your restaurant and ordering room service. Outside of these things mentioned a very nice hotel for the money!! Take this review for what it is worth!! This is why you read a review right? Well, listen!! Just don't eat on property until they send down the road the owner who leases the restaurant space!! Enough said!!…
We stayed in a panoramic view junior suite and the Nichupte Bay master suite at the beginning and end of our Cancun trip. The hotels decor and furniture are amazing. The lobby opens up three stories high. The entire hotel is very modern and chic. The rooms are amazing. The Nichupte Bay master suite has a kitchen, a large living room with a large dining or conf. room table and a master suite separated by two doors. You can also add the room next to it to make it a two bedroom suite. The roof is very unique and has a bar, gym, sun bathing spots, a pool and a jacuzzi. The pool is not heated and was cold while we were there. The service at the bar on the first day was bad, but upon our return was much better. We could not use the jacuzzi because there were too many Instagram addicts hogging it. All looking at their phones and taking pictures the entire time. I prefer to live life, not constantly document it for vanity and fake validation, but to each their own. I would highly recommend this hotel especially since its so close to the airport.…
Very modern hotel, constructed to suit the quests. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Very close to shopping centre and other amenities. Clean swimming pool and relaxation area at the roof top bar. In the bathroom was complete lack of hangers for wet towel or swimwear. No rubbish bin in the toilet area which is important for woman. Breakfas very expensive with limited choices, the food which supposed to be served hot was always almost cold. I was told several times during my stay that the coffee is not included in breakfast price which was not right. Breakfast improved after the visit from HQ. For the first time at the hotel this class i had to ask for shower gel and toilet paper. Restaurant staff needs the training about people skill.
The room was stylish and modernly designed! Extremely clean. The rooftop bar with the infinity pool was a blast to hang out at. The DJ was on point and I couldn't get enough of the cucumber margaritas! The Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Dalila the travel agent in the lobby helped me and my fiancé coordinate a cenote snorkling trip in tulum with ease!
Went for NYE with girlfriend and it was amazing! Clean, perfect location, pool, great breakfast & bar. You name it! They took care of us and I did not want to leave the next day. I would definitely encourage staying here. Not to mention, you’re right next to an amazing mall which we we’re able to buy some clothes for the NYE parties. 10/10!
