Such a nice and helpful staff throughout the resort. By the pool, Nancy was so attentive and went out of her way to give great service and constantly see if we needed anything! The place was very clean and well kept, and offered many options.
We visited the Royal Solaris This February. Covid guidelines are adhere and followed by the staff. Unfortunately that is not the case with all the guests. However we felt safe. The service from the staff is great! Starting with Marco, our club Service rep who checked us in. He was very professional and diligent checking on us everyday to make sure we were happy and if we needed something. Victor the Cheff at Marco Polo: amazing food and the presentation is top notch. Julio de Captain of Marco Polo, his professionalism and attention is extremely appreciated. Unfortunately that is not the case with upper management. We requested and paid for a romantic dinner and we did not get what was advertised. Their brochure needs to be updated to avoid false advertisement. The Jacuzzi need some updating and pampering. I did not like it at all. Last but not least, how can we forget the making staff at the premiere bar. Anthonia and Richard. They were very attentive, friendly and acclimating with our drink requests. Excellent hotel! Good service. The waiters are very helpful. Liked the service around the pools. Especially a girl named Nancy. Thanks to Nancy for the delicious cocktails and tequila. this was the first time traveling out of the USA in 2021. Had to make this trip happen before travel restrictions. this place has a sister hotel next door and available for amenity usage. hotel was safe and clean. food was hit and miss with options. 4th floor unobstructed ocean view room with 2 beds. make sure to reserve a spot at the restaurant onsite from early morning to 10am the day before dinning. I was unable to reserve dinning , so I'm unable to rate quality. no free hotel/airport shuttle but staff onsite will help to make arrangements back to airport for a $10-15/person. what you see in the hotel pictures is what you get. for my first all-inclusive in Cancun, it wasn't bad.
I just wanted to comment and say how my boyfriend and I spent most of our days relaxing by the main pool. We wanted to give a HUGE thanks to Mario for making our time amazing and for his excellent service! Every morning we woke up and we’re excited to come down to the pool and see marios smiling face. We will be back and hope to see Mario next year!
