5/5 The food is amazing, the staff is incredible. All staff from gardeners to the entertainers work very hard at making sure you have a great time. The waiters and bar tenders all put 100% attention on the guests and help with everything.THE BEST HOTEL!!
Everything from the animation was beyond expectation, Sexy Alexis, Aline and Maxine where perfect team, foam party was one off the best wheve seen. All the activity they where anymathing where so great.
We recently stayed at GR Caribe the sister hotel to Royal Solaris. We spent our pool time at RS since it's more upbeat and family friendly. Jeyson our bartender/poolside server was absolutely AMAZING! I can not say enough great things. We barely waited for drinks. He constantly cleaned while serving and kept the drinks coming. He would make any drink We asked for even if he didn't know it, we just had to say what was in it. We are an excursion family but chill poolside every other day. We made sure to be in Jeysons section and he made our pool time extremely enjoyable! If you go try and find his section. Due to his hard work we barely dealt with the birds attacking our plates and they barely hung out....unlike other hotels we've stayed at in the hotel zone where the birds took over the pool area and made you feel attacked. Cons: Internet was out the first half of our week stay Food is average. Door keys will stop working almost daily. Pros: Most of the staff is very friendly and will take good care of you. “Magic” Mike in particular really made the stay a fantastic experience. Food is available 24/7 Beautiful location right on the hotel strip. Rooms are very clean. It’s not perfect. Needs some updating. Overall a good experience for the cost.
We booked this hotel for a 20 person stay and it was the absolute WORST experience from start to finish. The staff charges whatever they want on your room and then no one understand English when you try to have the situation rectified and force payment. We had to have our door reset because the keys stop working and we were locked out of our room for 30 mins. The hotel lost power Everything shuts down at 11 and no alcohol is served after that hour. The walls are paper thin, the hallways echo and you can hear everyone talking from the time the elevator doors open The elevator doesn’t work to go down from certain floors, you must press “up” to get to the lobby The food is absolutely disgusting The list goes on and on…
My husband and I just returned from the Royal Solaris Resort in Cancun, Mexico. The vacation was beyond our expectations. The staff, especially Gilberto in the Guest Services, were outstanding' they were very helpful all week and went out of their way to accommodate anything we needed. There was plenty of food and drink all week and we enjoyed it very much. I had a massage with Leo and she was great. What I appreciated the most was how clean the resort was kept. We will be be going back.
We had a great time on our honeymoon! The staff (Eduardo) was amazing! The drinks is very good and the bartenders have good attitude, I liked it very much! I will come back is very good place. My husband and I recommend this resort.
My mom and I are here currently. This is my 5th time, my moms 2nd. It’s an inexpensive, option close to the airport. This hotel is easy to get to and from and is close to shopping, restaurants, etc. It’s convenient and that’s why we like it. The rooms are fine and clean, we have a nice corner balcony facing the lagoon. Our room has a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker with a king size bed. What is strange about this visit is the service. Last night my mom and I TRIED to eat at Rosmarinus… what a nightmare! We were seated and the same waiter approached our table 6 different times, looked us right in the eyes (like he had never been to our table before) and asked for our drink order. On a couple of the visits to our table, he asked us our drink order several times while standing there! It was so bizarre, like we were in the twilight zone. All we asked for was 2 waters, 1 iced tea and a sangria. Another guy came to get our order during all of this… and he never returned with our drinks either! We ate from the salad bar and never got our drinks or ordered our food. Summary: 7 table visits for drink orders, 6 visits from the same guy, we were asked about 11 times for our drink orders and we burst out laughing the last 3 times we were asked because it was so ridiculous. He never thought to write the drink order down! WE WALKED OUT! The hostess was so sweet and MORTIFIED! We ended up at the buffet. In the buffet dining room, there was a girl that was so drunk she had her own music playing loudly on her phone and was dancing around the tables fighting with her guy friend. They continued to serve her 2 drinks at a time and she should’ve been cut off. Please understand, I hit the booze and I’m known as being the life of the party… she was NOT the life of the party, she was a buzzkill for anyone sitting around her. We drank the coffee in our room on the first morning, they never restocked coffee… so we left a note requesting more today. We NEVER received pool towel cards when we checked in… thank goodness we brought our own towels. We never received a Reservation Folio # to make reservations. We went down to breakfast at 10:30 this morning, half of the warm dishes were already removed because they close breakfast at 11. If you want to close down ay 10:30, then change the hours. People kept showing up for 30 minutes, were seated with hardly no food available to them… I was about to scoop beans and the cook started to slide the full pan from me. I typically love this hotel and it’s sister hotel next door, but I doubt we will return again. This is so unusual for this hotel. Pool service is incredible! ARACELY is the best server EVER! She is so good! Thank you!…
Karen and Lulu gave my husband and I a 30 min massage and they did a wonderful job. Very relaxing clean professional place. I would highly recommend them. They also offer many other options as well as facials
The place was great for our family.. we had read some bad reviews but none are true.. the staff are amazing . Especially I wanna give a congrats to delphino server and Antonio manager.. they were all great.. tu he food is good and plenty of options.. sometimes the buffet outshines the restaurants.. the internet could be a little better but over all it was great..
