I really like kids club because staff is amazing. Marlen, Meli, Ceci. The activities are amazing and the resort is amazing. I would like to come here again. The food is amazing, the crapes, the ice cream, and the pizza is all amazing.
We just returned yesterday from our 19th trip to the FACC, and as always we just had a wonderful time. Since I have written many reviews of this hotel over the years, let me first call your attention to those reviews, as far as more general aspects of the hotel and for pictures, and so I don’t just keep saying the same things over and over, I’m going to devote this review to things which are new, changed, or eliminated from the all-inclusivity of this hotel. First, the hotel renovations which were done over the past few years are all completed now, there is no construction going on any more, and in my opinion the hotel is just gorgeous! I think that almost $30 million dollars was spent on these renovations and it really shows. Our room and everything in it (#667 Sun Tower) looked brand new. We had a nice balcony and patio chairs which were also new. As is the case around most, if not all the Carribbean, Sargassum (seaweed) is everywhere in the (ocean) water. They tried every day to sweep the beach, and I appreciated the efforts, but it is a losing battle right now. We went in the Caribbean one day, but it really wasn’t a pleasant experience. But there is plenty going on every day at the pool, and the water there was just perfect. A lot of people on these reviews single out single or multiple individuals who have provided them service above and beyond what might be expected. While I COMPLETELY respect that point of view, I actually think it diminishes the efforts of those service personnel who are NOT specially named. I can say again, as I have said before on these reviews, that I have never met a single person on the staff of the hotel who didn’t look like they loved their jobs, who weren’t competent at their job, and who didn’t treat my family and I as if we were the reason they do the work that they do. As a small example, we had just gotten to the hotel.. we went down to the pool bar, and went up to get something to drink. Not only did the bartender remember our NAMES, but he also remembered what both my wife and I usually ask for to drink. I really don’t see how they can possibly recall that kind of information with as many people as they must see every year. The booking center for different activities has been moved from the lower level motor lobby where it used to be, up to a desk on the main lobby level. Covid restrictions are no longer in place but are now left to individual choice. Some people wear masks, some don’t. STAFF all wear masks…all the time. A pre-departure Covid test is no longer required for US citizens. I can’t speak to other countries or policies. We ate at the Kalmia and the San Telmo restaurant. I really enjoyed the food at both places. It was clearly prepared with care, and certainly diverse enough for my families tastes. My wife ate most every day at the Chevicheria down by the pool. According to her they make the best fish and shrimp tacos she has ever eaten. We also ate at the hamburger/hot dog stand poolside, and at the little pizza place, also poolside. We thought all of them had great food. People had a tendency to finish their drinks at the pool and just set the cup on the side of the pool and leave it there. Clearly that just left a mess that someone had to clean up. We tried to start a little “trend”: we would go around and pick up the cups, and tell people that if you returned the cups to the bar, the bartender would give you a “free” drink.. ;) By the end of our stay, quite a few others we’re picking up empty cups, so we hope that helped a bit….and it was kind of fun to joke around about it. That’s about it for this time. We are going back in February for Valentine’s Day, and our 20th time to the FACC. We’ve never been during the winter so that will be something new. And in talking to locals, they say it’s just as warm then, and there is no sargassum that time of year. We’ll see ;)…
Indeed, p e r f e c t hotel service for our entire corporate event. Everything was at the level (even more) than our expectations: the service offered, the adaptability to the project, the proximity and simplicity of the meeting spaces, the attentive and always available staff with great energy . We keep an amazing memory of our event but also of the staff of the hotel who knew how to make it a success with a high quality service. Special thanks to our project manager, Yeri ! I cannot wait to go back, in a professional or personal context. Thank you again Fiesta Americana Condesa team. ** Juliette Bichot
Me and my husband had the best time in Fiesta Americana resort. The staff is really nice and helpful. They really want to make sure that their guests have a great time there. I lost my ring in the pool while playing pool volleyball, but I got it back next day - thanks to the security staff especially Luis and Karen. I am truly grateful for that. Also, there is a multitude of food options in the resort. We loved the food here. We will highly recommend this resort to our family and friends for their upcoming vacations.
I m very pleased with my whole experience in Cancun especially with this hotel. I came here for a place to relax, but they REALLY pampered me. I had a few spa days and OMG it was amazing! Maria and Brigitt were soooo good, they look tiny but oh geez they’re mighty. Sarahí had a great gesture sending someone to decor my room when she noticed that it was my birthday; such an amazing staff all together I will definitely be back and recommend this hotel. I’ll miss being there.
So far I have enjoyed my stay at this resort, the entertainment staff are amazing, the waiters and helpers around the pool area were also the best and very attentive. I recommend this resort, entertainment, service, food, music etc. Daniel, Eliot and Brandon + Mosquito ‘jose’ we’re amazing entertainment team!
My first time in Fiesta Americana my stay here was amazing. The staff, food, drinks and the hotel was great and the hotel it’s so beautiful and amazing views I’ll definitely recommend Fiesta Americana. I’ll be back again. I can say everyone was very polite, helpful and professional. Luis the security team member was very kind and professional and helped us in whatever we needed. Thank you.
Let me start off by saying that the staff at the resort is amazing. Very nice (with the exception of one waiter we had) and hard working. I think that the issues that our group had with this resort are not able to be fixed by the staff. In fact when I voiced my opinion to one of the gentlemen that asked how we were liking our stay he understood, he also asked that I come on here to voice my opinion so that "things could change at the hotel" To me this seems to signal that there are issues that need to be corrected at management/owner levels to allow the staff to provide better guest service. Here's the bad: We came with a large group of friends (10 of us) upon arrival we were taught how to use the app to make reservations. This app is really user friendly (when you have service on your phone) The only problem is that we kept getting our reservations cancelled, night after night we were cancelled. Finally we learned after a few days that they only accept reservations for 8, we had 10. and rather than just sliding up 2 more chairs or another table, they cancelled us. (seems like a management issue) Cleanliness is pretty good actually, they seem to be on top of keeping the place in a clean state, the only issue I would say is that when we would get back to our room and take our shoes off, the floors would be dirty still, like not really really dirty, just enough to have to wipe off your feet before you get into bed dirty. 2 words, BED BUGS. One of the people in our group had bed bugs in his bed. I understand that this can happen if another guest stayed there before and brought them etc. The issue that I have is that the resort did not offer to launder his clothing, other belongings etc that may have gotten contaminated while he was in the room, they just moved him to another room, when asked if they could upgrade him for the inconvenience, he was told for $75 more a night... (again seems like a management issue) Food is not bad, but it's not as good as Ive had at other all inclusive resorts in the area. It's just kind of plain, no flair, not much more than I would expect from a Holiday Inn meal. We did have one waiter that really upset our group, at the Mexicana restaurant. My wife ordered a drink to try it, but she did not care for it. When she asked our waiter for a beer, he told her that she needed to finish her other drink first. Initially, we all thought he was kidding, but after the 4th time asking for another drink it became very clear.…
This is the first time staying at this resort in Cancun and it was amazing. The room view was wonderful, food was delicious. Good buffets and shows in the evenings. The staff was very kind, attentive and friendly. I specifically want to shout out Sandy and Gloria from Mexican restaurant that made my birthday unforgettable. You`re the best and deserve the biggest raise! Thank you Fiesta Americana, we will be back!
We had a wonderful time at Fiesta Americana Condesa in Cancun. Food was delicious, room service was perfect (always arrived promptly), everything was clean and felt very safe. Compared to other resorts, our beach was much quieter and less crowded. Overall, it was a peaceful resort. There is always plenty of staff around to help or ask questions. One time an employee thought that our room phone was broken and within minutes, an employee from maintenance was at our door offering to help. The top pool seemed to be heated but the bottom pool didn’t. Being from Idaho, both pools as well as the ocean were comfortable temperatures for us to swim in all day every day even in January. The ocean had red flags for the whole week of our trip but many people, including us, still swam in shallow water. We booked through Costco and used their transportation to/from the airport as well. I would recommend this resort! It was everything we’d hoped for.…
