During our stay the employees really made the experience. I enjoyed interacting with the entertainment staff, specifically Karla (Karlita), Elias, and Nikki. Also during our stay a foot injury occurred and lifeguard Sahel was super helpful! He came to our room to dress my friend’s foot and answered a ton of our questions - I think we talked his ear off! Also, our butler Manny was super helpful and so was Jesus (other butler). I really appreciated everyone’s great service and attention.
Super property. Could hang with the other people or find nice peaceful quiet spot. Pools and bar sever ice was amazing. The only thing that could be better is the ocean isn’t as clear at this location as others
The resort itself is beautiful. But this is the first adult only 5 star resort that we been to that did not serve top shelf liquor or access to all restaurants without a significant upgrade cost. We decided to upgrade, other than a room with an ocean view there was no other value. We were distinguished with a bracelet (which made us uncomfortable) and had to tell the bar tenders specifically what brand of alcohol we preferred in front of others, which were not allowed the top shelf brands. We also found just getting top shelf brands was a struggle ie. sambuca at one restaurant not available at another. We found this to be the with most liquor. The food seemed very inconsistent. We went to each restaurant twice. Each restaurant was excellent once, both in food and service. Our second experience was not as the first in food or service with the exception of Oilios. This restaurant was amazing in both food and our amazing waiter Abel. He made it so special for my wife and I. We would like to acknowledge some staff who made our trip memorable. Pool butler staff Mauricio, Salomon, Alexa, and Pancho. Continuously checking on our poolside comfort. Tahani breakfast crew. Aurtuo, Cesar, Leo, and Tessa. Giving us us a great start to our day. Thank you, Aquino at Vora Mar for the amazing service and first ever chocolate martini. Thank you Brandon and bartenders at the long pool who came to know our drink order on site. This is our fourth adult only 5 star resort. We will not use this resort again. Rather take the extra drive time to better resorts. …
We visited for our anniversary (and delayed honeymoon). The whole resort is very clean and well kept. There were always people cleaning throughout the day. The staff were wonderful and always very attentive and friendly. Breakfast and lunch at the buffet were good, a lot of choice but still good quality. If you go for dinner at the restaurants you may need to wait for a table especially after 7pm. But the longest we had to wait was about 20 mins in the bar so not too bad. (If you are a larger group say 6 or more you will probably need to make a reservation in advance) If you want a good sun bed, you need to get up by around 7:30 at the latest. We used the long pool mostly as there was a little more going on, they had the dj playing music and activities such as volleyball and aerobics during the day. If you wanted to relax more you could go to the round pool which was a bit quieter or down to the beach. There was still a bit of seaweed on the beach but not too bad, you could still go in the sea. We used the spa twice, the massage was amazing and the second time we did the hydrotherapy which was also really enjoyable. It’s not cheap but I think definitely worth the extra money. We got room service a couple of times, it’s nice to have the convenience of food delivered to your room but I think the quality of the food was not as good as it would be in the restaurants. But this is to be expected I suppose. Overall we had the most relaxing trip, and would definitely recommend Haven. We would love to visit again in the future.…
I have been to Mexico 4 times prior to staying at this resort and this is the only one that I would ever return to. The hotel was immaculate, staff were amazing, food was top notch, other vacationers were friendly and respectful. The beach was beautiful, ocean was great but unfortunately not as clear as I would prefer (couldn’t snorkel) but I didn’t mind as all other amenities were above average. Stayed in the Jr suite ocean view serenity club room (1206). It was TO DIE FOR! The room, the view, the sound of the waves crashing along the shore all day and night, the balcony and the tub complete with bath salts and bubble bath!! Our butler (Jesus) was great, not overwhelming but was there whenever we needed him! Can’t wait to come back Haven! Thanks for a great week :)
Absolutely can not wait to come back. For my fiancé’s 40th I booked this spot with two other couples. We not only had the most perfect relaxing time, we all agreed that it was a get away that we all desperately needed. The cleanliness, food, ambiance, weather but most of all the customer service was impeccable. There is relaxing pool vista, the party pool with tons of activities (look for Nikita. She is awesome). Definitely book yourself a massage with Lupita. She’s tiny but strong . Do yourself a favor and don’t skip the water hydro pools. It is so relaxing. Last but definitely not least for the best customer service of all request Marilu. Marilu was a true gem and is so genuinely helpful. I could go on and on about this place. One suggestion this service is so fabulous don’t forget to tip your servers. They definitely deserve it. That was the one thing we all kept saying was how impressed we all were with the service. …
We booked this resort because of all the 5 star reviews. Being down here now, I can see why, but there are a few things I wish I knew. 1) serenity is useless 2) pool chairs - you need to wake up at 6:30am to get one or you’re out of luck (the serenity butler didn’t help with that) 3) do not plan on using the beach. There’s a barrier of seaweed and garbage in the water. 4) there’s constant music blasting in the pool. It’s all soft pop. We wanted a quiet restful vacation and having to wake up at 6:30am to get a chair and the loud crappy music just didn’t allow for that. Food was good and the workers were nice. Gym was good and facilities were nice. Just be sure you know what you’re getting into.
This trip was to celebrate our 20th anniversary and a birthday. We were looking to get away for some relaxation. This property gave us what we were needing. There were a few glitches, but the management was able to correct them. They checked in on us periodically to make sure we did not need anything. The view and atmosphere was so pleasant and refreshing. To be honest, I wasn't ready to leave. Shout out to Ana the yoga instructor. Awesome and helpful instructor. Keep her class!!!
We’ve just returned from our stay at the Haven Riviera Cancun Resort and it’s blown us away! The hotel, room, resort, cleanliness, food and staff are all amazing. The staff are an absolute credit, they are the loveliest people, very attentive and really made the experience. It was genuinely difficult to leave having to fight tears back. A massive thank you to Felix, Leo, Caesar and Fermin - you made our experience and we can’t wait to return next year!!
Overall great experience! The staff are kind and friendly, resort is clean and food is good. The only negative experience I had here was on my last day, when this one older male staff member randomly yelled at me and gave me the dirtiest looks because I had laid a towel on a wet chair to sit on. Not really sure what the issue was there but did not feel great to have this rude interaction on my last day. He is walking around the pool angrily right now... Kinda scares me. Hope he doesn't go around being like that to others. Other than angry old man, all of the other staff members I encountered were so nice and pleasant. Hope he can learn from them.
