We loved this hotel, it was very nice and clean, great bathroom, good size room, the hotel grounds are beautiful. We also eat at the restaurant, great service, good food, good price on the drinks. We would stay here again if we come back to Guadalajara.

I celebrated my birthday at the Hotel Morales on a trip to Guadalajara and they treated me like family. I had booked a two night stay and when I arrived at the front desk they said they had a surprise for me — AN UPGRADE TO THE IMPERIAL SUITE! And as if that were not enough.... On the day of my birthday they delivered an incredible Mexican dessert free of charge. The hotel is a beautiful colonial building in the center of downtown, it’s remarkable that you can barely hear the street noise because the windows are so thick. And you also get your own balcony. I had an AMAZING time at the Hotel Morales the staff was incredibly friendly and if it were not for the fact I couldn’t change my flight.... I would have extended my stay another week. Highly, Highly, Highly recommend!!!

I really wanted to love this hotel. It’s a beautiful and convenient location. However, we booked the Imperial Suite specifically because it is advertised as two separate rooms. We were placed in a single, handicapped accesible room (The sink was just above my knees). When I returned to reception I was told that was all they had. I asked for a rate change since we were not in the suite I had reserved. They curtly offered to put us in a room with two beds...um, this is not a solution. Very disappointed. No rate change. Valet took almost 30 minutes to take our keys just to get our car parked. We had to sit in the lobby waiting. Wifi was so slow you could not watch Netflix. The only reason I’m giving two stars and not one is because we ordered room service and it was excellent. Sadly, we will not return.
