We had an amazing time. We celebrated our anniversary and my birthday. Everyone there made us feel like a king and queen. We had not been to this resort in over 30 years. It is very well maintained.—-
the view from the room (1707) is amazing, the room needs to be cleaner,,, Only two towels and no floor towels... the first day two bottles of water after that you have to walk to the lobby to purchase a bottle of water. It makes no sense in an all-incusive hotel. The quality of the food was just okay ( 4 on a scale of 10). This hotel has to improve the quality of its food. I eat out three or four-time.
I was at Krystal Grand and had to catch an emergency flight home- in the scurry to pack and leave- I ended up making the huge mistake of forgetting my very expensive camera gear in the safe. Ailen the guest relations manager was an absolute DREAM to correspond with to ensure my camera made it home safely! I’m so grateful for the super helpful staff and security at the hotel that helped get my camera back to me! Thank you Ailen! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars for the customer service
When we purchased a time share here in 1996, the property was about 3 times as big as it is today. Nevertheless, the grounds are beautiful and it is a relaxing place to stay. We have stayed in villas, older beachfront hotel, and the newer hotel tower. Some of the older buildings could use some updating and maintenance. The Covid shutdowns were challenging for the property. We have never come on an all inclusive meal plan. We enjoy breakfasts and come to some of the dinner buffets during our typical 4 week stay, but we like the freedom of going to the plentiful restaurants nearby and downtown for variety. There are many that make our stay pleasant. Jesus, Gladys, Carlotta, Roberto, Omar, Oscar, and others in the dining room always take a personal interest in us. Mary, Elizabeth, and others at the concierge desk are always helpful in answering our questions and providing advice. Julio and Micaela in the time share office help in many ways during our stays. It feels like home.…
Stayed here for our all inclusive mom/daughter trip after covid. Read the reviews, maybe should have listened more. The resort itself is beautiful. Grounds amazing. We stayed in a 2 queen room, in the new tower. Views are amazing! There was no towels at first. Asked for towels. Got towels. Was 2 bottles of water on the room. Ended up going down to the grocery store for more. The food. The food wasn’t good. Breakfast was ok with the omelet station, some pastries.. the snack bar on the beach was good. Good burgers, fries, all that stuff. The bigger for lunch was ok too! Supper was just bad. We left the resort 3 out of the 5 nights to eat out. Went to Monkey business twice, and the pasta place across the road. Spots on the beach were hard to find. You had to be out early or you didn’t get chairs.. a lot of times, chairs would be saved and no one would come til 4pm. Aaron was a fantastic waiter on the beach! He would carry trays and trays full of drinks all day long! Very much appreciated!! Was the trip bad? No. Would I go back here? Probably not. It was a good deal before prices went up. The food just needs to be better..…
