Lovely atmosphere and an incredible restaurant. The staff giving tours was passionate and captivating. The rooms are similar to medium motel rooms but over double the price; the room smelled good until we used the bathroom and noticed there was no fan. Our key malfunctioned and we were trapped in the pool. The website has several errors: things we thought were included in our package were not included. I enjoyed the restaurant and the museum but don't recommend staying at the hotel. YOU MUST GO EAT BREAFKAST THERE!

Stayed for a night as a quick getaway from the kids. The hotel site is easy to reach from downtown Quebec with and surrounded by nature and the old Wendake village. The rooms are well-appointed and several touches from the Huron-Wendat people are spread around the hotel and the rooms. The fireplace in the lobby gives off a warm vibe to the arrival. Overall all the staff was very friendly and the room (119) was very spacious, clean and quiet. We also had dinner at La Traite were we tried several local dishes with the Bison smoked steak being the highlight of the evening, along with several cocktails with a indigenous twist. We took advantage of the private tour of the museum and were amazed by the guide's knowledge and enthusiasm. We got to know so many things that aren't taught in history classes and also enjoyed the interactive canoe building exhibit. Highly recommended to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but mostly to surround yourself with the indigenous history.

Nice hotel. Host a wonderful museum for the Wendat nation. The restaurant is very good and everybody in the restaurant is extremely friendly and helpful. I traveled with my husband, my daughter and our dog. To be able to bring the dog to the hotel is advertise as a specific feature. We were given a basement room with direct exit outside, what was perfect for the dog. However for three persons and a dog, the room was extremely small. Even for two and a dog it would have been small. Somehow we did not get information about the area. They did not mention any possible activities either. We did almost all what was offered by the hotel and it was ok. We learnt a lot. However, Wendat has a very lively life and other places that showcase Wendat culture that complement nicely what the hotel shows It was a pity that no one informed us.

Although a beautiful hotel the rooms are average quality for the price. Paid over 300$ a room I would have expected better quality furnishings and basic things like conditioner, a bar of soap to shower (other than shower gel) ...something worthy of the price. In addition due to Covid there is no room cleaning which should be reflected in the price and we should have been informed from the start but were not. We didn’t try the restaurant but it looked nice. The concierge was clueless about the restaurants around the neighborhood, so we took a chance and went to an area near the main shopping mall called le Cochon Dingue ( good place). The only place that looked half decent in the area. :( So, all in all a very average stay. Needless to say disappointed with it altogether mainly due to the price and it what offers. If the price would have covered the cost of the museum and tour of long house then it may be a tad more forgiving. As for the pool - extremely small Spa - didn’t visit.

We have wanted to visit for years but it has always been full for up to a year in advance. During the present situation, we practically had the place to ourselves. We brought along our 2 young grandsons. The room was spacious even with 2 cots added to the king size bed. Best part of the room was the feather pillows, a rarity for hotels. I had brought my own in case. The restaurant featured wild game and fruits and was very well presented. We took in a short tour of the attached museum, longhouse, church and creation park. All stops were animated by costumed interpreters. They all gave excellent presentations on aspects of Wendake (Huron) culture. We returned to the longhouse after supper for indigenous story time. Staff in the hotel were smiley and curtious. At night I roamed the street. It is a prosperous town with many traditional old Quebec homes. The streets were empty after dark.
