Mrs. Daisy's passing is very noticeable. She was loving, kind, & treated guests & workers like Family. The new owner/manager, who at first pretended to Care, is Greedy for USD & is always Watching. Prices have not changed but Customer Service from mgmt has declined - No coffee/tea anymore, 1 roll of SCENTED toilet paper (which everyone knows is not good for females); prepare to buy paper towel & t.p. No guest appreciation - not even a free drink or free bottle of water, Nothing for kids to do. It is horrible. Most of the staff still try to do their best (she even disrespects/talks down to them). The only fun you hear comes from the Jewels resort next door. It hurts to say - this is not the Pipers Cove we fell in love with. If you were Ever here even 1 day with Mrs. Daisy, you will understand. We only keep coming to honor her legacy. But this new lady is ruining it fast.…
With a super manager my stay with family was very welcoming and comfortable. Studios, one in which I stayed are spacious. The ambience of grounds is very relaxing with well kept lawn, so excellently kept I was afraid to walk on it. With future renovations to rooms and beach area 5star ratings will be easy.
Friendly staff and nice location, very close to other tourist attractions. Food and rooms are great with enough utilities to match. As it relates to Covid, they sanitize their equipment and also do temperature checks upon checking in.
I went to Jamaica for Spring Break. Originally, I was staying at the Jewel, Dunn's River Resort, but they closed do to Covid-19, so I had to find another place to stay. The staff at Piper's Cove Resort treated me like royalty. Although I was at most times their only guest during my extended four-week stay (because my flights kept getting canceled), they maintained the highest-quality of service. The flowers and plants are unlike anything that I've ever seen at a resort. It's equivalent to a botanical garden. I love orchids, so this was very meaningful to me. The beach and pool was kept super clean and the grounds were raked and swept daily. The daily maid service was immaculate! The chef cooked the finest quality food at my request. The management even gave me a discount when my flight was canceled again. My friends and family in the states were able to rest assured that I was well-taken care of at this seaside paradise, because I posted the most beautiful sunset pictures that they've ever seen daily. I will be forever grateful!…
We were extremely satisfied with this resort, well-kept garden, nice friendly and helpful staff. The resort itself has its own,but very little beach, which is not a problem, because there is a local beach very close to the resort, also with its restaurant and local interesting Jamaican spirit. We were lucky to meet Mr.William Barfarther a local driver, whose services we used during our stay. We fully recommend him if you want to see a places around the island only known by the locals. You can reach him at (876) 372-8890.
This place was very nice. The grounds were well kept, staff was very friendly and the view is great. My room had a kitchenette in it, which is convenient for longer stays, but I only stayed one night so I didn't make much use of it. The room is a bit outdated. Bathroom is very small. Shower is very small and needs to renovated. Check in was easy. WiFi available but a bit weak by the poolside. Parking is a bit tight. My chicken cutlets were ok and my friend really enjoyed her curried shrimp. They didn't have a few menu items that we originally wanted so we just chose something. Breakfast was also ok.
Heading into our last few days of our two weeks in Jamaica, we were looking for somewhere to wind down. Piper's cove was perfect. We opted for the studio. It had a king sized, comfortable mattress, a mini kitchen, and shower. The room was clean and cool. It was nice having the kitchen to cook breakfast in each morning. We also enjoyed our complimentary coffee and tea. We went snorkeling from the hotel's beach and saw quite a bit of fish and other ocean life. Each evening we ordered food that was freshly prepared just for us and we enjoyed it on the patio overlooking the ocean. Then we'd go across the street to get ice cream, walk back and took in the beautiful sunset from the hotel's beach area. For us, this place was perfect. Miss Daisy and Kurt are so sweet as is the rest of the staff. The grounds are beautifully manicured and the rooms are clean. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and you are about 30 minutes from the hustle of Ocho rios and an hour away from montego bay. …
It's been quite a few years since I last visited Piper's Cove. Booked a single night to stay over instead of driving back to MoBay late at night. Easy, no hassle check-in, clean, basic room with small kitchenette and an a/c that works well. No complaints at all, Miss Daisy still runs a neat, clean operation.
Late with this review, but better late than never. Piper's Cove is a nice property to go and relax, while in Jamaica. Close to everything (Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Negril, etc.,) on the north coast, and a quick drive to Kingston as well. Kurt, Miss Daisy, and the crew ensure all your wants and needs are met while you are there. You can have home cooked breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner, if you desire right there on the premises. I like the quiet and relaxing atmosphere at this relatively smaller resort. I always felt very safe and slept very comfortable at nights. I usually stay at Piper's Cove with my friends (guys trip) each summer when I go to a particular reggae show/festival in Montego Bay. I have gotten to love the place so much that I plan to take my family (wife and kids) there next trip. The place never seem crowded, so I am sure my energetic kids will enjoy the pool and beach area, and the view of the ocean daily. Great place to stay, looking forward to my next stay. Bless up Kurt, Miss Daisy, and the team.…
I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful resort.. I have to say this beautiful oasis that is just off the beaten path allows one a peaceful relaxing setting to start up my yearly vacay. Miss Daisy and her crew are so welcoming that I return yearly for that pure hospitality that Jamaica is known for. The grounds are meticulous and the rooms are nice and equipped to cook modest meals . The kitchen staff are kind to try accommodate certain dietary needs. As I say this is not an all inclusive resort. It is an oasis for those that wish to recharge from the craziness of real life. Cheers to the wonderful people that welcome me home and bring one so much joy every time I visit. God bless
