Soooooo. This was an amazing weekend! My family & I came here to celebrate my niece's birthday.(We arrived New Year's Eve...spent two (2) nights). My sister had booked before & I wanted to be apart of the group, but initially, they were fully booked so I was planning on staying at another Hotel nearby. I spoke with Nastasia at the front desk over the phone. She was extremely friendly & warm right off the bat. There was a cancellation of another guest, she called my sister to inform her of same, which allowed me the opportunity to be with the group. Big up yuhself Nastasia fi dah move deh!! Really appreciated that gesture. Upon arrival, the staff was super friendly & warm as well. We were offered complimentary juices, the cleanliness of grounds was on par, the ambiance was inviting! We were served dinner shortly after, mek mi tell yuh man, DI FOOD SELL RIGHT OFF!! Twas buffet style. The servers were a delight to interact with. The entertainment for the evening was a saxophonist, two words....Irie & Mellow!! After dinner, we went to our rooms to refresh ourselves, so we could join the New Year's countdown. Look ere people!! I really wasnt expecting the evening to be so grand!! Mi selecta fren, BIG up YOURself! He had the guests on their feet. We danced literally all night, as Beres would say! The energy was light & right...such a irie vibe!.. A great way to "ring in" the new year! And that was just the start! Our stay there just got better & better! I really appreciated & enjoyed interacting with the team. They were polite & helpful. Service with a big smile! The music at dinner & after dinner was exactly what I needed. Kept me jamming to some of my favorite songs! New Year's Day we went off the property to explore Ocho Rios. Our package included breakfast, lunch & dinner. We missed lunch because of our excursion. On the day of checkout, we had already done so, we were now waiting in the lobby for another family member to arrive so we could all leave. We were then called by the lady at the front desk...(I dont remember her name, my bad) that we were entiled to have gotten lunch before we leave. Truth is, she didn't have to do that, but she did! Di people dem juss stay good! This place is a must revisit! The overall service was impeccable...top of the line! I had zero complaints! Cortia, Sashagay, Kaydian, mi selecta fren, my room attendant, ladies at the front desk... unnu juss gwaan large up unnu self fi mi! Thank you team for being AWESOME!!

Cardiff Hall Hotel is a training hotel which trains young and mature in The Hospitality Industry. The view in daylight is specular. Not my first visit by any means and I have never had a bad experience. The food, service, presentation and ambiance is wonderful. I was particularly pleased that The Cardiff Hall Hotel caterers took care of my every needs as I am Gluten and Nuts intolerance (this is most unusual in a lot of establishment) There were three of us in my party for dinner and we were all very happy The price point is very very affordable including a good wine Well worth supporting

I am ready to leave Cardiff Hotel and Spa after a memorable weekend where I had the pleasure, peace and quiet with plenty time to retreat, relax and rejuvenate. I decided to treat myself to a full pamper day and that is exactly what I received. Keisha my masseur totally looked after my needs and massaged me from head to foot there is a shower steam that hits up in minutes! I left energised and the self indulgence day was 10/10. The room was clean and spacious for two people. The food good and nutritious and a lot of variety. I asked for a specialise breakfast and this was granted. The waiter/server trainees require more courage and boldness and many seemed afraid to speak up and smile :). All and all the breakfasts and dinners were scrumptious! We checked out after 7 mins. Bad service, seemed abandoned. Location Is unsafe, roads to property are run down. The wifi does not work as advertised. Rooms are outdated. No refund was offered when I left abruptly. Americans - don't bring your family here !!!

My wife and I spent 4 nights at the Cardiff Hotel & Spa in late May and we had a wonderful time. The hotel has a friendly set of Staff and the property was well kept. The room was spacious and comfortable. Beer, soda, water and coffee were provided daily in-room for free! We opted for the breakfast only option and enjoyed a wide variety of Jamaican style and continental breakfast all 4 days. A lot of eateries are close by in Runaway Bay and Ocho Rios is an easy 25 min drive away (27km) I can't wait to return on my next visit to Jamaica.

I stayed here for 11 days whilst delivering training. Firstly let me say that this is a training hotel - however, the price does not reflect this and the speed (or lack of if) at meal times was dire. This resulted in my delegates who were also resident in the hotel being seriously late for morning and afternoon delivery sessions which impacted on my training. There are no resources provided in the conference faculty - no flip charts, no note pads, no pencils. Nothing. Photocopying requests were met with indifference and no sense of urgency. Michele, one of the cleaning ladies is absolutely delightful, cannot do enough for you and she was my shining star throughout. Andrew works part time as the pool attendant - when he is on duty, he is constantly on the go, cleaning the pool and tidying up. He remains vigilant and alert whenever anyone is in that pool - there’s someone else when Andrew isn’t on duty. No idea who he is - he sat in the bar with his back to the pool most of the time, regardless of the fact that young people were using the pool. Mr Douglas gets my grateful thanks. He manages the dining area and does his best to be everywhere - he may just as well be on his own. Customer service appears to be low on the list of priorities for the trainees and other than Mr Douglas, any other staff who were supposed to be training these young people and correcting their errors were nowhere to be seen. The WiFi was great thank you and bar service was fine, prompt, reasonably priced and a good selection of drinks available. Finally, my room faced the road and had a lovely sea view. On the downside, the house over the road has three big guard dogs that bark whenever anyone walks past the property or a loud car or lorry goes by - day and night!!!!

I only spent one night here but i have to say considering the price it did not fullfil my expectations. The rooms are basic they have all you need but i didnt find the bed to be comfortable at all.. the vegetarian breakfast was bland i was very disappointed as id heard good things about the food here Upon arrival i was asked to sit and wait for the receptionist to find my details this took far longer than it should of it was late and my friend literally fell asleep in the waiting room while she sorted out something most hotels manage without issue. I was then told the internet was down and NO idea when it will be up, now i paid for a double room but was initially staying alone tho half an hr after checking in i asked if i could add a family member, I check to see if there was a price difference and there wasn't not a penny yet the receptionist demanded i pay a fee if i wanted them to stay in my double room, a money hungry attitude that you don't expect from large companies it was her discretion and she chose not to be helpful, when i mentioned the fact that the hotel have let me down with Wi-Fi surly they can spare me a fee on a room iv paid in full already on her response was its not the hotels fault its its the providers so i should blame them.. ridiculous attitude and service and not how you want to be treated when paying a little over £100 a night for basic accomadation. I don't recommend this hotel i have spent much time in the area and they have plenty of competition providing a better level of standards
