Amazing beach. Availability of kayaks, snorkeling equipment, and puddle boards were the huge plus for us. Nice pool and hot tub. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The only minor minus was food: would love to see more choices of fresh vegetables, fruit, and more seafood choices. The guy on the beach who is doing daily aerobics is the best!

We stayed here for 10 days end February/early March. After reading mixed reviews beforehand I decided we really needed to keep an open mind. We were not disappointed! What a fantastic location! We had a room overlooking the sea - sooo many different colours of the sky throughout the day/evening. Just a short crossing of the road( where there was mostly a guy to stop any traffic) - we were at the beach. Many sun beds available and a great bar providing a selection of plentiful snacks throughout the day accompanied by music and fun competitions for those who wished to take part. The room was spacious, clean and tidy, the shower was great with oodles of hot water and fluffy white towels always on hand. The pool area was very clean - again a snack bar was open all day long providing a variety of hot snacks and plentiful tea and coffee facilities for you to help yourself to. The bar by the pool was also open all day till 10pm ( after that there was a further bar open at the disco area). Entertainment in the evening was really very good - a variety including a great band and some fantastic singers. The main restaurant area was clean and tidy - food very good - a good variety and yes of course after 10 days - we did see same dishes being offered but there was something there for everyone. Staff generally were lovely - of course there were one or two who could seem hard work but maybe we all need to remember it depends on how YOU treat staff in the first place! I heard a few instances of customers speaking in such a rude manner - it really made me cringe. I guess at the end of the day - you’ll never please everyone. There were a couple of minor issues with our room that should have been dealt with in a timely manner which were not but overall I have given 5 stars for this hotel and not done lightly as trust me - I am a hard person to please!

Garrison at the gym was extremely helpful, and he showed us around the gym, explained the fitness classes, and showed us the schedule. Fitness Center has lots of good equipment as well as great staff who will help you with your workouts and give you tips.

Loved the beach, wonderful snorkeling! Stopped at Jamaican grocery before arriving. Bought water, powerade, soft drinks, and blue mountain coffee, with snacks. Such a big help! Felt safe at resort. You're not going to get pizza at dinner, steak, shrimp, lobster (at the buffet) different breads, a good wine with dinner. What you are going to get is healthy, well seasoned foods. Not a huge amount of different foods(except desserts) but good at what they do have! Kindness and cleanliness means so much! This is not a 5 star hotel but neither are you being charged for a 5 star hotel. I will be returning. Thank you for your hospitality!

It's true - this is a 3 star place in many respects. But, we got a great deal on a Black Friday sale and we were escaping the cold. The food was honestly fantastic. Authentic Jamaican options but also other great options. That mac and cheese at the buffet was amazing every night. Curry dishes just the right amount of heat and excellent flavour. The Italian restaurant was tired and the "salad bar" was very sad. The $30 seafood restaurant was ok. Lovely and quiet but super super slow. All of the staff are working their butts off and we definitely tried to tip at all meals. Lunches were easily accessed at the beach bar. Stand in line for the jerk chicken. It's worth it and honestly where else are you going? Is the resort tired yes. Not enough staff cleaning up but honestly people just bring your dishes back to the lunch bar. It's not hard to clean up after you have eaten. Always plenty of beach chairs and locations. So many locations to sit and lounge. The rooms. Very clean. We were on the 9th floor ocean facing which was lovely except for the music and traffic at times. There is literally a bar from the back of someones car out on the street with music pumping. A real party! Around the pool was a interesting vibe. Some small children were out of control and we tried to avoid that as we didn't need that chaos. Everyone we met were lovely. Suggestion, please start a little library exchange. Every place usually has a book exchange. I finished my book way too early and left it near the lobby and asked if they had one and they said no. Be careful about where you end up in the resort. We did meet a young couple who were put into an older building with red carpet everywhere and they asked to be moved and eventually were. The bedroom furniture is very old but clean. I brought hangars thankfully. We played tennis and I even had two clinics with the pro they bring in and his amazing family. The courts are tired but fine for us. Snorkeling was ok. The tour off the resort was worth it. Water warm. Sun fantastic. Great Black Friday Deal. I wouldn't pay full price.

PLEASE READ! I usually do not write bad reviews but I have to write this one so you can save your money by not coming to this terrible, underserviced resort. We checked in to Sea Garden on 12/28 for one night. Even though it was a one night stay we had a horrible experience that we reported to the evening manager. 1. As soon as we checked in we went to reserve a spot at any of the two restaurants and we were told they both are full. Therefore, we could not enjoy these services. 2. There was no phone in the room. Despite filing a complaint, no one came to place a phone in the room in case of an emergency or needing room service. 3. We went to the beach, and asked for towels at 0430 pm. One of the staff said that all the towels are dirty and in the laundry. I asked the staff member if I should get towels from the front desk staff, and he advised that all towels are dirty. He then said, "Can you do one thing, I am a worker and can't get a burger, can you get me a burger from the grill." I said I will come back. I went to the front desk, complained about that staff member, and asked for towels and was given towels. 4. I went to the grill at the beach, and asked for jerk chicken. I was told they were out. I could not enjoy this service either. 5. When I first checked-in I asked for a crib. I was told one will be sent to the room. I did not get the crib. The next morning, when I asked Arniece, she told me that it is only sent to the room if one is available, I was never told that when I first checked-in. 6. The next morning, I went to the beach and asked for towels. I was told that I need a towel card. I was never provided with one upon check in. After reporting these concerns, the evening manager said we will get an email from the main manager. We never heard back. We emailed the main manager who said she never heard about any of this from the evening manager. She said she will carry out an investigation. A month passed, we never heard back. When we emailed her a month later she said our complaints did not qualify for a refund/compensation. Also, adding on we stayed in grand palladium for 3 nights after and had a great experience. Please choose that resort or any other resort over SeaGarden.

Sunshine, beach + bikini….charming hotel conveniently located 5 minutes from the airport. Started off bit rocky with slower check in, room concerns ie 2 singles requested vs one double etc. Tricia, the Manager was amazing, professional and made everything right. Wonderful Daman helped us with our bags with a forever smile on his face. Loved the local artwork adorning the hall walls, lobby etc, take time to appreciate it. The courtyard was kept lush, peaceful and lovely… while walking by you may hear a cat-calling sexy whistling from the lush gardens, have no fear it’s the handsome parrot, Mr Grey, be sure to check him out! The rooms were adequate, used only for sleeping and showering after all were here for the beach! Although we did hear a man cough clearly thru the thin adjoining door next door and the shower water pressure dribbled at times. While noted site states beach is across the street, distance is much closer than in most larger hotels! They have a crossing guard holding a big handheld stop sign, a small jaunt. The beach is private, with a great bar, jerk chicken and pork, hamburgers, hotdogs and fun entertainment led by funny guy ‘Country’ and Smiley who kept us entertained throughout the day. Smaller sandy beach but oh so perfect, shallow, warm water…we spent our days here…ending the day with beautiful ‘insta worthy’ glowing sunsets at around 615pm, beach bar closed 5pm beach closed 7pm. Petroy at the beach was amazing, very attentive and kind. Deli bar shout out to our friendly Kayan who served up amazing Pattie’s, chicken wraps, grilled cheese. Restaurant servers were very attentive, cheerful and kind….shout out to Chrisan, Kalicia, Vanessa and Lisa. While food was repetitive at times, it was great, fresh locally grown veggies and fruit and there was something for everyone… trust me you won’t go hungry. Andre at the piano bar was sooo good, taking requests and belting out great tunes. People were invited to showcase their talent and sing along. Ahhh the nostalgic disco after the entertainment show began 10-12am, giving 70’s vibes, round dance floor, mirrored wall panels, mirrored disco ball and lit floor….fun times let’s groove tonight! Suggestion to keep the piano bar opened nightly vs twice weekly to give people a choice louder disco or lower key piano bar vibes. Overall comments, we get away from the big cities to chill, enjoy the beaches, sunshine, take in the culture, people, food…you get what you give…be kind ya mon?!

Horrible customer service. Same poor food every day. Booked pool/garden view was given back room facing construction, took 3 days to move to pool room. Neither rooms had working safes. 2nd room had no working air conditioning, they did repair next day. Definitely would never recommend this resort.

Beautiful resort and friendly people. Only issue we had was shower water . We had no problem walking up town to do some shopping. We spent our days at the beach and enjoyed the cool drinks and beach grill bar . The staff are very friendly and cheerful. Entertainment at night was great. We would return to his resort in a heartbeat.

Booked this resort for a week kinda of a last minute thing and for the good price. We spent a little extra to get ocean view deluxe and was worth it because it turned out to be a rehabbed room over looking ocean with great AC. We also found out it is the only building with an elevator only down side is street below is a cruise strip for the locals and loud car music back and forth at night. Also every time you go out on your balcony someone wants to sell you pot.The original rooms in the courtyard do NOT have elevators and have 8 floors so keep that in mind ! When you check in ask the bellhop Delroy to give you a short tour of property. It is very historic and one of the very few left that is solely owned by Jamaican’s. In the Early 70’s and 80’s it was a club med. the architecture is great and be sure to explore, a lot of original paintings and other stuff exist from long ago. If you’re looking for that loud party pool stuff with the bubbles and all you won’t find it here. Pool is small but quiet. Beach is a little path across the street we are beach people so that’s where we hang out. Plenty of beach chairs to be had and great snorkeling and swimming. If your an Airplane buff the approach path is right in front of you for landings. Beach bar is great they have lunch from 1100 to 530. Burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese and jerk chicken ! Didn’t like the loud music at the beach and trivia contests etc. usually that is pool stuff and beach is quiet time. But DJ was amusing and funny. Getting on to the food the main buffet was ok they do repeat a lot of items for the main meats. Always chicken pork and fish though. Plenty of fresh veggies and rice. Made to order omelet cook in the mornings breakfast always good. Only thing we did not like was late dinner start time. 7:00 for everything. We didn’t do the 2 sit down reservation places because by the time you ate it would be 8:00. So we stuck with Buffett every night, you can be first one in line and get a good seat ( beware it fills up FAST like running 🏃 of the bulls lol) I would definitely come back here again if the price was right. Nice quiet place with old Jamaica charm! Make sure you say hello to Mr Grey the parrot 🦜 back in the court yard he will do a trick for you then whistle at you when you walk away 😀
