My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon here and could not rave about this location and the people more! We had exceptionally great service and friendship from Britney! We still keep in touch!
Just returned from a stay at Montego Bay for five nights.
This was our third visit. Everything was great. It was encouraging to see the many new additions that are in place as well as what they’re planning to complete over the next year.
My wife and I thought we would try a different All Inclusive one year. Well, we booked a new place, not Sandals, in Ocho Rios and it was a mess, only the setting in the hills and water fall were beautiful but that did not...More

This is simply part of the trade off for low season prices during hurricane season. It can happen and no way to predict the outcome. Last time it barely brushed Jamaica and other times it's fine serious damage. The best approach is to purchase trip insurance and see how things unfold. The resort itself of course has protocols and procedures in place for safety during a hurricane. Your airline will not move forward with flights as scheduled if it is deemed unsafe. Worrying (while completely understandable) won't change the outcome of whatever is set in motion to happen
I can only speak for Montego Bay. I’ve never been to Negril. I don’t think you can go wrong with either, it just depends on what you two are interested in. We chose Montego Bay because we wanted to start with the flagship... More
I can only speak for Montego Bay. I’ve never been to Negril. I don’t think you can go wrong with either, it just depends on what you two are interested in. We chose Montego Bay because we wanted to start with the flagship resort. We plan to go to a resort each year in the order that they were built. We want to experience them all. Each Sandals has something unique to offer. Hope that’s helpful...like I said I don’t think you can go wrong. Make sure you post a review after you go! Would love to hear your experience.
