We could not have been happier with out stay at Tortuga Bay! Easily one of the finest resorts we have ever experienced. The lodging is amazing. Our bungalow had a wonderful lawn in front and then the beach is right there! The service on the beach is fantastic. They bring you food, drinks, etc anytime you want. The water is clear and the temp is great for swimming. The food at the restaurants is gourmet level. We went fishing one day and caught 6 Mahi Mahi and the chef cooked if for us that night! The pool and pool bar are fun all day and night. Great golf nearby! Took our kids fishing, swimming with dolphins, and there is a very cool ecological reserve right next door with fresh water swimming holes! You do not want to miss this place!! We will be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday at Tortuga Bay! What a wonderful place! Simply perfect! We had come here two years ago and liked it a lot but this time it was even better, which really surprised us since most other places that we have been are struggling to keep up service and standards during the pandemic. Unlike most other places, Tortuga has exceeded its previously high standards - the service was uniformly perfect and the food was delicious - just a wonderful experience all around.. We had a 2-bedroom villa on the beach, which we highly recommend. The villa is very spacious and comfortable for our family for 4 — we have 2 adult sons. Housekeeping was perfect! They service twice a day and it is very complete! And at a reliable time. Simply perfect... We loved walking out onto the beach directly from the villa — the beach feels very private - we did not see anyone or even hear their conversations. The beach service is also fantastic - most days we had our lunch out on the beach. The service is exceptional - several cuts above most other places that we have been (again - particularly impressive during the pandemic where most places are suffering on the service end). We enjoyed it so much that we did not even leave the resort. We dined at the resort most evenings - Every meal was delicious and special - we loved that the (head waiter) at Bamboo remembered what we had ordered several nights previously (without notes…). Highly recommend Bamboo and La Yola - we had two wonderful dinners at La Yola. Service and food are excellent. And the venue is quite lovely. My husband and sons golfed most days - they said that Corales is one of the best golf courses they have ever been to. While they were golfing, I was at the SPA - I highly recommend the SPA. Almost forget the best part... the airport service.. this is fantastic especially during the pandemic. Basically - our holiday was wonderful… We will definitely be back.…

We took the decision not cancelling our trip from Europe to the Caribbean during the pandemic... and it was just the right thing to do! The Tortuga and the whole management made us always feel comfortable and safe! From arriving at the airport throughout the whole stay. All staff was extremely nice and 100% focused on the COVID-19 safety protocol at all times and all places on the property... The Tortuga Bay Staff was so dedicated to their Jobs that everyone from cleaning to room service, from Bar, Restaurant to F&B and from front desk to villa manager: EVERYONE made the stay exceptional and truly a 6* Hotel experience! We stayed for 3wks playing Golf and relaxing at the beach and could have easily stayed another 3. See you Soon Puntacana Resort & Club !

Everything was perfect! The whole experience from the moment we left our airplane was incredible. We been greeted right there and received VIP service all along. The entire crew team did such an incredible job. Especially our villa managers Carlos and Brian and others. The resort itself is very private, villas are beautiful, sea and the beach is incredible. We had a golf car so we were able to ride to the neighbor resorts (Golf club, Plaia Blanca and etc). Food was delicious, room service in the morning and ice cream in bed in the evening... Mmm... We can't recommend this enough! It's also really COVID-19 safe, since there are very few people around and all the staff always wear masks.
